It was really easy picking up and dropping off. The app to return the van was very convenient and worked well.Tom T.
Location had rep that said her phone was too old and didn't have good service and she couldn't figure out how to check me out. Asked if I could do it in app myself so I downloaded the app and completed to checkout process myself. She came back out and said the system didn't complete the check out because she had to verify I did not want insurance. I verified to her after reserving without insurance and checking out in the app without insurance that I did not want the insurance. She said I was good to go and went inside and then apparently signed me up for the insurance. Not sure if the locations get kickbacks for insurance but if I reserved myself without insurance and then checked in without it, why is a location able to add it without my written consent or verification in app given everything else was done by me on my device?Stephen W.

Checking out, no long time to. System was down after 15 working with agent. App need to improve to check out ,for better timing. Not the location problem, it uhaul concern to solve this problem n make it better n fasterScott K.
Make sure your tags are up to date I should not have had to check the tags when I did notice that it wasn't up to date on the plate all they did was tell me it is current but someone forgot to put the sticker on which is still a ticketable offense I'm pissedJordan B.

I was initially upset that I couldn't pick up my rental at the local UHaul location (Bowman Street, Wooster, OH) where I had called to make the reservation. I had to drive about 40 minutes to get it and return it. However, the person I dealt with at the first location was a little rude and the young women I dealt with at the pick up location (Acorn Secure Self-Storage, Massillon, OH) was very nice and accommodating. Still, I wasn't happy about the surprise when I got the reservation confirmation and had to travel a longer distance than anticipated. It would have been nice to know that was a possibility up front.maghen W.

We first reserved a truck from Manchester Storage in New Franklin. When we arrived to pick up the truck the next day, we found that the worker, Michael Walker has reserved a truck that they didn't even have. The fellow who was working there the next day was only a temporary worker, as the owner is on vacation. This guy had no idea what exactly to do, so he called the 800 number and found that Acorn Secure Storage on Erie St. might have what we needed. The lady at Acorn, named Jennifer, was very helpful, even though she didn't have the size truck we need at that facility either. But she worked it out for us, and we were very satisfied with her service. She saved the day for us! If I owned UHaul I certainly would be questioning the folks at Manchester Storage to find out why they don't seem to know what is going on with their services. Extremely poor service.linda P.

nothing, Melanie was great. She explained everything thoroughly and got me all set up in no time. I had issues with moving and I called to make sure I could keep the uhaul for as long as I needed and they worked with me. Definitely going back to Acorn for my Uhaul rentals!!!Kara H.

Very happy with the 15ft truck for the cost of a 10fT one because what I wanted wasn't available so U-Haul gave me an upgrade at a nearby dealer at no additional cost and even gave me some free covers to use although I ended up not needing them all for having to use another location. The ladies at Acorn Secure Storage and U-Haul on Erie Ave. NW, Massillon were wonderful and very glad and able to meet all my needs. Will use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a rental.Robert B.

The ladies at the location were very pleasant and explained the rental contract. Although we know how and did the hook up of the trailer, they didn't offer help or advice, I have not experienced that at a Uhaul rental place. This was a storage place that rented Uhaul trailers, not a Uhaul center.Mario C.

The experience was great even with the mobile checkin. Originally my pick up time was going to be before business hours but I needed up not getting there until they were ope. So the only thing I can say is the wrong key was in the truck so had I been there before they opened I would have been able to leave. Since the woman was there though when I arrived I just took the key in the facility and she apologized and gave me the correct one. The facility was nice clean and easy to find and the woman in charge was very friendly and helpful. When I returned she just said I could giver her the key and leave then she'd finish my check out for me so I didn't have to do it and I was grateful for that after moving all morning. I left and about 20 minutes later I got the return confirmation email. I would rent there again!Ann L.

Give me a location less than 50 minutes from my desired pick up location! And a pick up time less than 4 hours past my requested pick up time....and notify me more than 16 hours before my pick up time of changes you have made to my reservation!Cathy F.

The lady (receponist) was very friendly, helpful, yet-supportive at the same time. She went onto call the Tow Service service to assist me with my car loading from their flatbed truck onto the U-Haul auto-transport trailer. The trip journey with my '69 Impala convertible on back of trailer behind my friend's 2014 Ford F 150 all the way from Ohio to Rochester, Washington was an aweSOMe exprience and went without any problem all the way. However, When we were in Webster City, Iowa. The front left black rubber strap was very SLIGHT loose. We simply retight it and continued the journey on way to my house on the farm without any problem.DAVID G.
