Although swamped with an influx of customers right at opening time, the staff was courteous and quick to sort through and get everyone going.

Arizona HI was notified the evening before pick up that I would have to travel an hour to get the truck as the one a block away was no longer available. A little more time to plan around would have been helpful. This is not the Fergus Falls location’s fault.

Patrick TTotally unprofessional. Pick up location was housed in a dilapdated building overgrown with weeds.and whatnot. Getting to the door requited walking through a junkyard where a crazy looking guy in swamp boots was wielding a hammer and angle grinder. He was making a terrible racket tearing a metal roof or something apart. Made it near impossible to hear the girl who was setting up our pick up. We only knew to call her from the hand scrawled piece of paper taped in the window of the locked front door of the building. Wouldn't go near that place after dark. Nothing "Advanced" about those "Storage Systems'.

Steven HThe location in Fergus Falls was excellent. The young lady who assisted me went above and beyond to be helpful, even using my phone to take photos of the truck, a photo of the gas gauge, etc. and uploading them to the U-Haul app. What I was not pleased about was getting a phone call the day before I was supposed to pick up a truck in Brookings, SD, letting me know there wasn't a truck available to me. I had made a reservation weeks in advance. However, the young lady who helped me over the phone was able to get me lined up with a truck at the other location. This meant double the amount of miles, double the amount of fuel cost, etc. although I was given a much reduced cost on the base rental itself.

Deb HMust say that overall this was a good experience. However, if there had been any rain in the area I would have refused the truck. The tires are worn beyond safe limits for wet roads, other than the main tread grooves around circumference, all of the cross tread grooves that channel water away are gone. This truck will hydroplane easily and is unsafe for wet conditions in my opinion.
GRANT CThe vehicle was parked such that getting it out and on the road put created the choice of backing into another parked truck or driving out over the curb to the street and not hitting another truck on the driver side and a utility pole on the passenger side. The truck appeared to have sat unused for some time. Upon start up the engine sounded like it had no oil. I stopped it and checked. Starting it again it ran loudly for 10 minutes.

Was the rude text I got from Hailey the barely legal little girl working at the uhaul. If you're not sure you aren't sure you'll need equipment or not just dont order it. You'll be charged even if you dont use it. While ordering online be careful. They'll put a bunch of extra equipment in your cart. You'll have to unlink everything. They'll then add multiple of the equipment back to your car again on the second page SO PAY ATTENTION. They loaded a bunch of equipment I did not order into the truck. So I had to take the time to pull everything out just so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged, then reload it all back into the truck before returning it. The dolly is the only thing I ordered, but did not use, the seal was not broken yet i still got charged for it. According to the rude little girl. Uhaul international won't refund me for equipment not used. Will never use them again. I get ripped off literally every time I use uhaul

Joel CNo one got back to me after 5 phone calls and ended up dropping off HEAVY trailer myself and barely got it off my hit hitch and then didn’t even get a confirmation that they got my voicemail saying I left it in their yard. Only got the receipt a full week later in email.

SELVIN ROverall the experience was very positive, however, the process was extremely clumsy. I filled out the box placement in both locations, and loaded it several times with pictures included. Yet, when the box arrived at the destination there was still some confusion about where it was to be placed. The confirmation process was confusing on several levels, and required multiple affirmations to facilitate the process. Otherwise the contents arrived in great shape, and all schedules were met, albeit a day late overall.

RODGER LWe initially rented in Alex and they messed up our reservations. The one 800 number for the Fargo region was very helpful and gave us a discount and moved us to Fergus. It was 30 minutes out of our way, but we were grateful to have a trailer.

JOHN NJust a suggestion: I found the wire springs for the safety cables, was very stiff and a bit to long to clean my holes in my hitch. If it was a little shorter it would be easier to unhook. DuWayne Cookman, rented a tandem inclosed trailer which did a great job, worked great, great U-Haul in Fergus Falls, MN

Terry BHave hours that place is open posted on door. I returned dolly and no one was there to check it in. Felt a little uneasy just calling ant telling someone I dropped it off.
