I had the worst experience with Uhaul itself. I received an email the day before I was scheduled to pick up the truck. The email stated they had a 26” truck GAURANTEED at this set location for 9 am Friday 3/22/2024. I arrive at the location and nobody was there. So I call the number from the email and the lady I spoke with was very rude and said they don’t open until 10 am. I informed her that the email I received told me to be at this location at 9 am. She again was not helpful and said she wouldn’t be there until 10 am. So pretty much I was out of luck is what I gathered from the conversation with her. I also noticed in the parking lot, they only had one truck and it was very small. I asked her if they even had 26” truck because I only see the one. She responded by saying “I don’t think I even have a reservation for you, but I don’t know you’ll just have to wait until I get there at 10”. I hung up the phone and called Uhaul and explained the situation. The representative I spoke with from Uhaul showed zero concern, and offered no apologies for this inconvenience. She then told me that they had downsized my truck to a 20” because there were no 26” trucks in my area. I informed the representative that I had made this reservation 3 weeks prior and it was hard to believe that in 3 weeks they couldn’t get a 26” truck in my area. Not to mention I was NEVER informed it was down sized. Again, no apology no concern. She gave me another location to go to where I could pick up a 20” truck. I went to that location to pick that truck up. The lady there asked if I had anything else on my reservation other than the truck. I told her yes I had also asked for a dolly. She said she didn’t have any dolly’s. Finally I was tired of getting the run around so I asked her if I could just get the truck and nevermind about the dolly. This whole process put me almost 2 hours behind on my schedule, and was handled in the least regard. I feel that making a reservation with Uhaul means absolutely nothing, and U-Haul’s “guarantee” also means nothing. I was so displeased with this experience that I will NEVER use Uhaul again. This company is so poorly ran and unorganized.
Justin MTheir "roadside assistance" was an absolute joke. This guy showed up dirty in a ripped up shirt with his belly hanging out smoking a cigarette. Not professional at all. He didn't even check the trailer for issues. Just took some pics and then left with the trailer. Pathetic service.

Heather jThe place looked like a junk yard, I ask for a reciept and was told they didnt give one.I stood with her while she checked the truck out and she told me every thing was ok, then I got an email saying ai owe 35 dollars for gas. This is the second time i been lied to by Uhaul dealers. I will not be using uhaul again. I will warn everyone I know to be careful using Uhaul. Its a Rip Off

TERRELL JI had to drive 45 miles to pick up my uhaul because the one I needed wasn’t at the location it was supposed to be at and they charged my credit card for the mileage

Mark TI rented truck for Saturday 7-23. So i called to be sure the truck was there, and said i will pick it up in the morning,and she said , o, we're CLOSED ON SATURDAY'S. so i had to make quick arrangements to pick it up on Friday not to mention a van was parked in front of it, so the guy had to keep pulling up, backing up and finally go over the curb to get the truck out. What a filthy place.

CYNTHIA BI would not recommend this service because I was put on hold for at least an hour after I called back about 4 times… My services were canceled a lot as well. It was an extremely overwhelming process and I had to cancel several future appointments due to me not getting my rental on time!

Antoinette DLights on the back of the truck and trailor were not working. I had to stop in the middle of the night and rent a room just to be safe. Then I was told the wrong drop off location and had to go out my way to drop it off

Celita CDid not talk to anyone, it says they close at 5 pm, got there about 4:40 and it was closed. Another person did stop by and knocked on the door, door opened, they went inside, the guy opening the door looked at me then closed the door and locked it, never saying a word to me!! Will not use Affordable Tire Service 1508 Madison Hwy Valdosta, GA 31601 ever again!!!!!!

Clarence BTruck Cab smelled like throw up , can full of cigarette butts in the passenger door, empty pall mall pack in the over head ,ants where climbing out from behind the dash 1000s of them, rear inside dual was bald, windshield wiper on passenger side was torn ,air conditioner would just stop working and come on at random

David AEverything went good except I was given only a quarter tank of gas and I returned the truck with almost a half of tank and was surprised that U-haul didn't reimburse or do anything for the customer. But other than that it was good.
