First of all the truck drove horribly! The truck needs a tire alignment and it feels like it may need some mechanical work! It was very difficult to drive! The next issue is I took an exact picture of the gas hand before I drove off so I could know how much gas to put back in it and the facility charged me for gas which is impossible because I put the exact same amount of gas that was originally in it! I will never use this facility one of the worst experience ever!!!!!!Sylvia W.

The truck was noisy, a lot of wind noise from loose seals around windows, driver's side high beam was out, brakes were very squeaky, seat felt like it had no cushion left in it, the radio volume control didn't work well at all and there was no where to charge a phone - no USB or Micro USB ports. Also the windows were dirty inside and out.. I put over 350 miles on the truck in one day and wish it would have been better. I will probably try Hertz next time.NICHOLAS S.
Hopefully that truck was just for local hauls, no way I would drive it cross-country. Definitely needs some mechanical work. I have driven many uhauls and that was definitely the roughest truck I've experienced. But customer service rep at the location was very helpful and nice.Christina B.

There was no one inside when I walked in. When she came inside she answered 2-3 phone calls while she â€œdealing with meâ€. She continued to have her hood up, I could barely even see her face. We went outside, she proceeded to say she needed help to lift the trailer tongue onto the hitch. Given I just had major surgery, what would have happened - hadn't my husband been there? You should consider having a lift of some sort if your employee can't lift it. As for the rental trailer, when they hooked it up my husband noticed that there was a lock on it. Clearly this was not inspected prior to us picking it up. Had we gotten to ocean city and realized there was no key- we'd be having another issue. She said what key? He said the one to the lock and pointed to it, she said it wasn't there's and had to go get lock cutters. Now we're 40 minutes in from the walking in and waiting for someone to show up, to getting the lock cut off. 0/10 would not recommendsamnatha J.

My overall experience with u-haul wasn't as expected. I picked aware my up location would be at another site, however, I never expect it to be 20nmiles away to pick up the truck and additional 20 miles from that point to pick up the tow. When I was picking up the tow at the suggested location the gentleman stated he was leaving and would not wait 10 more minutes for me to get there. Mind you it was still midday. I immediately called service to find a new location. This location was better and extremely helpful. The last compliant was returning the equipment. I returned the equipment if not better than I received it and a day earlier than scheduled. I called service to change the drop location to one closer, that location was closed. I received an email stating an additional charge for an extra day. How could this be! The representative did not want to remove the charges. After being on hold twice for 2-3 hours each i was able to speak to a manager to have the charges removed. This experience was completely unnecessary and could've been avoided!April M.

If possible (and I don't see how) improve the check in service. This instance was the best so far after renting from u-haul three separate times in the last 90 Days. I didn't have to wait for assistance and was done in 5 minutes at pick-up instead of 1 hour during my previous Check inJose H.

The trailer was clean, but had a broken chain when picked up. Customer service was poor, I had informed the person at the desk that I was not comfortable backing up the trailer into a tight spot had tried to work with them to get it into a good spot, but did not want to risk damaging any of their equipment. I will never do with business with Uhaul again if I have to deal with this site. That lady is the most awful person I have ever met. First, she calls me at 5:42 (yes, very specific) and I say "hello", she says "are you coming to get the trailer or what because I close at 5pm and I am not waiting on you". I told her I would be there is 5 - 10 minutes and hung up. I get to the store, go in to do the paperwork and she tries apologizing to me, I say nothing. She says "Uhaul tries to send people here all hours of the night and they think the own me and they don't, I will not wait for anyone". You really want someone representing your brand while talking like that? This is not the first time she has been an ass to me. A while back I rented a trailer, picked that site because it was closest to me, but I did not realize that Uhaul had directed me to another site. I showed up there and she was rude as hell again. She said "you really should look at your paperwork and not come here and waste my time". Seriously, that lady is a class A bitch and I will never do business there again. You should be ashamed of letting her represent your brand. Sorry for the foul language, but you have no idea how upset she made me by starting with a phone call. Yes I knew the pickup time was 5:45 but didn't realize I had to be there at the exact time to make her happy. Where in the hell is the customer service?????? The Uhaul dealer itself was fantastic but uhaul the company is completely disappointing. I had a reservation for 2 weeks and it was cancelled 24hrs before pickup & customer service hung up on me when I called back. I then scrambled, contacting 2 local dealers to secure a 2nd, inconvenient rental for only 24hrs vs my requested 48. Then my second reservation was cancelled and moved to a location 30mins south which I was notified of by Uhaul until the morning of. LUCKILY the local dealer had a truck for me for a 3rd and final reservation that was completed no thanks to Uhaul directly, only the local dealers who scrambled to help me out. This was completely ridiculous & no compensation or inconvenience discount was offered by Uhaul directly as they are the ones who overbooked & under delivered.ashley M.
I wish I had understood in advance that there was no ramp available for this vehicle. Not the fault of this location, but of the U-Haul website. I could just have easily reserved a vehicle that did have a ramp if I had known. The size of the vehicle met my needs, but not the lack of a ramp. I ended up paying for a van I couldn't use.Janice L.
