Excellent service
Lester TYour vehicles have always done the job. This location has more choices of vehicle size I have ever seen but does not have the needed parking space but the proprietor upon my arrival was overwhelmed, informed me there was no room to leave my car, and was curt. He was more pleasant upon my return. Could have been a one time incident but I doubt it.
diane sMy car got blocked in by people returning vehicles. I had to remove the tire bumper and slide my car between the building and a truck. There should be a designated place to park personal vehicles. Signs should say do not block private vehicles

ROBERT BDid not interact with personnel. Only suggestion for here would be if they know they have a big truck coming clear a spot for it. I had to do one heck of a backup to squeeze it in so not to block their entire parking lot.

Eliot EParking and pickup is tricky, due to the layout of the lot and the fact that this is predominantly a car repair shop, with UHaul vehicles interspersed throughout the property...but that wasn't a huge deal, just not ideal. My main issue is the cleanliness of the vehicle - the inside was so dirty that my wife refused to sit inside until we used a container of cleaning wipes to thoroughly clean the seats, dash, steering wheel, console, etc....and I honestly couldn't blame her! We couldn't clean the floor mats, which were covered in dirt. If we didn't absolutely need that truck and did have time to make new plans, I would've gone elsewhere.
STEPHAN BI put 4 gallons of gas ($12) to get back to half tank level when I dropped off this truck. The mileage at pick up was 85393.9. The mileage at drop off was 85409.9.i drove exactly 16 miles in this truck. I put 4 gallons of gas in this truck, yet I was charged an additional $7.25, which I can only assume was for fuel. Why? Why was I charged an additional $7.25 when I had already replaced 4 gallons of fuel for the SIXTEEN MILES I drove this truck. I have rented cars and trucks since 1988, and this is the FIRST time I have ever incurred an additional fee. I will not do business at this location again, and I will recommend that this location be avoided if at all possible.

Regardless, he was so nice to help me figure out my online booking on this New Years Day! Dean, you have a good one looking out for your business! The smoothest uhaul rental since I’ve moved to the area, thank you all again!

KENNETH CHave more equipment readily available. They need more equipment to make sure every customer has what they need. The man they did my paperwork first needs to realize that the customer should always come First no more what. He was doing a quote for another customer about an automotive.repair. I feel as if he could have waited to get that done. Then he got several calls after that would stand there and talk to them for a minute or two. I felt as it was extremely rude. Customer always comes First, I worked in customer service my whole entire life and would never treat a customer like the way they treated me. They need more equipment to pacify each customer. I come back another customer thank God I come back because the other guy wouldn’t have been able to have a handtruck.

Hugh LThis drop-off location at my destination in Clemmons, NC was just fine. The person in the office came out to have a look at the trailer, as I wanted to show him a small hole on the floor of the trailer that I did not discover at pick-up time, but did discover it when I started to load the trailer in NY. (Hole was very small, and not a functional problem, but I did want him to be aware I did NOT cause the minor damage to the floor of the trailer.) He gave me the option to have him do the return processing, or to just do the return processing via the U-Haul App on my phone, and as everything was OK with the trailer and I knew the App worked well, I chose to just do the return processing on my phone. So all was good with this location where I eventually did a successful return of my little 4' x 6' trailer I rented for a 1-way trip from NY to NC. The 'Bad' part of my return experience was that U-Haul initially scheduled a different Drop-off Location; BP / EZ PASS SMOKE SHOP at 2500 Lewisville - Clemmons Rd in Clemmons, NC. When I arrived at that location, the only person present was the person at the cash register, and he told me that location had not had anything to do with U-Haul for 'quite some time'. And he refused to accept the trailer. So I had to call the U-Haul Support number, and after getting transferred once, I ended up with a Scheduler for North Carolina that was able to help, and updated the return location to Alexander's Automotive that happened to be only a few more miles down the same road. In the end it was only a 30 minute delay in getting the trailer returned, but was still upsetting for a while until the problem was resolved. Evidently U-Haul had some record integrity problems with the data that supported their automated systems in scheduling return locations, so I hope they can get issues like that resolved to save the next guy returning a trailer to Clemmons, NC the same aggravation.
