The drivers side rear tires were at the wear indicator and should have been replaced. The location was closing as I was renting the truck, but I feel like that truck should have been tagged due to safety reasons and not rented. I had pictures and videos on my phone just in case it blew on the drive. I was driving nearly 300 miles so it did make me pretty nervous. I really hope the drop off location caught it and flagged that truck for maintenance.JUSTIN L.

The only issue (minor) was they did not have the full 4 dozen bankets I had reserved available on site. Otherwise, the staff was very profession/helpful, and the equipment (truck, trailer and hand-truck) was exactly what we reserved and worked excellent.BRENNON S.

Pick up and drop off location for excellent it was your reservation service that really feel short. I found it asinine that on my seven hour journey to get my truck and trailer I received a call and they told me they didn't have it they're available for me. And I if I still wanted it would have to travel an hour and a half out of my way one way to go pick it up at a location that there was a truck and trailer. Not acceptable!!!Christopher R.

Street not on GPS no sign and no other u haul vehicles, took 1.5hrs to find location using fuel,then was. charged X for under. in tank. NOT HAPPYDean W.
Location for pick up change, that's ok. Called to confirm, and was told to go to yet another location 12 miles away to pick up blanket. A few hours later got email that truck and moving blanket would be ready guaranteed. Called morning of pick up to double check. Talked to a young man, explained about email and asked to check my rental. He said every thing was ready. Went to pick up and no blankets. The lady there said I had to go and get them. If I did not have the email that said my reservation was guaranteed I would have to waste an hour or more going to another location. The worst part, they lied, they went up stairs and got the 20 blankets.Michael M.

We waited nearly an hour to even be acknowledged we were waiting at the front counter to pick up the trailer. They guy seemed very tired and unhappy, he told me about his recent medical problems at which I am sorry for. I told the guy our return date and city, he said he only had a 10 day rental, but i told him because we couldn't make it cross the country in 10 days, we would be dropping it off in 12 days. He said he could only extend it to 11 days and we would pay a $20 late fee if we brought it in on the 12th day. Then when we got to the drop off location on the 12th day, like I told them. They said it was still a 10 day rental and we had to pay $40 per day, not $20. On top of that, the wiring for the trailer was wrong, we had to purchase another plug along the way for the trip. the plug we purchased at uhaul at pick up was shorting out. The drop off property was confusing, there was no clear entrance, so when we went in the door in the bay we were told in a snooty way that was not the entrance. I apologized and told her I didn't know that. I told her we were there for a drop off and her body language was clear that she did not want to help us, she even verbally said that someone else would help us, and that she didn't even think they could take our trailer because it wasn't scheduled to be brought in there.. Even though I told the original store in West Virginia that was the city we wanted to return it to. They ended up taking the trailer from us but was the girl seemed so rushed, rude, and then even rolled her eyes at me at the end of the transaction when I told her that I wasn't supposed to be paying $80 in late fees, I was clear about my return date, and it was only supposed to be $20. She said she couldn't do anything to help me and I would have to take it up with uhaul... Wasn't SHE working for uhaul??? Overall, this was an awful experience and I wish I had gone with a better company like Budget or something. Moving cross country with 2 young children is stressful enough, and when you're paying hundreds of dollars to a company to aide you, you'd think they'd be helpful.Jarrod S.

The woman can stop yapping about her dogs thru out our entire check out experience. The Guy was just plain fine with zero feedback to us about basically everything. Just a poor service person with zero personality or care.matt H.
I had a reservation at the Eagle Point location for well over a month, they even called me multiple times to confirm before I was to pick up the tow dolly. Upon arrival the manager said that he had forgotten to procure one and gave me a "So what?" kind of attitude. They shuttled me off to this location, which was a royal pain in the ass. This location however was excellent and I have no complaint about them.Michael P.

The girl at the desk was very nice but being in Oregon, the truck had been used to transport marijuana plants. It had not been cleaned and had marijuana debris (leaves and buds) throughout. All of our furniture came out smelling heavily of marijuanaRobyn J.

I usually rent from the Medford location on N Front Street but they didn't have the size I needed. Everything at this location was great.. Not quite as convenient to get to and I needed to hook up and unhook my trailer myself... That was no problem but the other place does it for me.Mitchell P.
First off I was supposed to pick up a 6'x12' trailer in Medford off N Pacific hwy. Gotta a call 2 days prior that they didn't have one and I would need to drive to Selma Or to pick up one. That's is over a hour drive from me and in the wrong direction. I finally agreed to this cause my son is stationed at Camp Pendleton and needed his belongings. The day im supposed to go pick up said trailer I call the number to make sure the trailer was ready for pickup......the number was disconnected. I then called the main number in Eugene where they attempted to contact the dealer as well as the last person to rent trailer. No luck. I then had to rent a 5'x8' trailer from a place in central point off crater lake hwy. The trailer had not been moved in 6 months per the young lady that rented it to me and then she asked if I would need help hooking up. The trailer was up against a fence on dried grass past my knees in some places. Yes, I'm gonna need your help. This whole experience was a nightmare.....don't guarantee stuff if you don't have it.Amy G.

The truck wasn't clean inside, it had a horrible odor, and there were buggers all over the steering wheel. The radio was stuck in the on position and you could not turn the volume up or down, so the staff at the pickup location had to remove the fuse from the radio so I didn't have to listen to the radio blast for 800 miles. The staff at the pickup location was friendly and great to work with. I have rented from U-Haul many times in the past, but I will have to say that this particular truck was pretty beat up and not pleasant to drive 800+ miles.jeff M.

All four bearings were very unsafe and the right rear leaf spring was broken prior to picking the trailer up. After taking the trailer home, packing it, and starting our 1,000 mile trip we found the broken part and had to return home to repack our house into a different trailer. A learning experience for my wife and I, and we will never make this mistake again.Jess H.

emailed receipts only show zero balance it would be easier to send them with the cost of the rental so a person doesn't need to search for a way to print the order. My AR dept. actually needs to see the cost before the approve the expense for reimbursement.JACK D.

The ladies at this location were angels. The one lady came in on Saturday on her day off just so she could rent me the truck. While driving the truck from the lot to my house I noticed the wind shield wipers were not good and I called them. Jason the person who answered the phone at Uhaul when I called about the wiper blades was very nice and helpful he worked on getting me new wiper blades for a couple hours because it was Saturday and most of the Uhaul locations in the Medford oregon are is closed. but he found the main location in Central Point had them but didn't have any body that could bring them to me so I set it up to go there on my way out of town so they could put them on for me. They are ROCK STARS! it was only about 10 minutes and they even adjusted the side mirror for me. When we got to Hillsboro Oregon where we are moving to we needed a storage unit. those guys in Hillsboro are ROCK STARS as well. they were all very pleasant to work with. They did anything they could to help us out. one of the ladies even helped my daughter unload a couple sets of bookshelves as she was there unloading the truck by herself while I was driving back to Corvalis to get my car after parking it there on the trip to Hillsboro. The employee was very nice however even after telling her we needed to pay cash for our rental and assuring us it was only to hold in the event we ran off with the truck etc. We were charged. She also told us the $28 would be credited at the location and any adjustments would be done at the drop off. We were supposedly given an extra day which we didn't need and extra miles we didn't need......if we had to pay upfront we would have gladly done so. Just tell the truth. This was not the location I chose it was out of the way and we were called more then 2 times to adjust the time when we didn't request it also changing truck size... Really rude person "it happens I can't take their stuff out of the truck" Wow that is professional. I always have used a U haul and will not be doing so after this experience.SONIA V.

After receiving numerous emails and being told they didn't have the truck we ordered, we went to the original location that we ordered the truck from. Had to drive around for 1 1/2 hrs trying to find the hidden uhaul store...down a road with no signs out for public...then down an alley and behind another bldg...Put signs out for the public...had to ask the mailman where it was!!!
