This order began at UHaul's North Stockton location on Tam O'Shanter. I made a reservation for a 26 foot truck several days before needing it. I contracted with an independent moving company to assist with the loading. This contract was non-cancellable at short notice. I called the morning of pick up for a 12;30 pick up and reconfirmed availability at UHaul. Upon arrival at 12 noon, I was told the truck was due in at any moment. The UHaul office contacted the previous renter and was told they could not bring the vehicle back. There were a variety of vehicles in the lot, of various sizes, but I was told that there was nothing over 10 feet available to me. I asked about several vehicles entering the lot and a variety of ones parked in the lot, but was told they were all "reserved". I asked, "what am I?" I was then instructed to drive across town to some smaller UHaul outlet, and that they might be abler to help me. They did. But a number of questions arise. I know that the Tam O'Shanter facility "fined the lady who was Late" $100. I heard this on the phone. Several regular UHaul customers say this should have been given to me. Due to how long this all took, I am out of pocket $200 for not having a truck on time for the labor team to pack. Who pays that? Talking to Budget and Enterprise right now about taking care of my business...Paul B.

Friendly customer service. Back area where they store the u-hauls looked a little sketchy. Do not recommend the "fast and easy" self-check-in process; there was nothing fast or easy about it. I had to cancel my reservation and re-do a reservation in person.Katrina T.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for accommodating me to use the car trailer with the ability to return after hours, knowing a customer would be taking the unit the next morning. The manager provided a key to the locked enclosure, if I needed to return the trailer later in the evening. I thought his gracious offer and compassion was above and beyond, which I haven't seen recently. I am truly grateful. I will always bring my business here. Well Done! Truck was dirty and needed to be washed. Windshield was very dusty and the bed was full of dried dog food. We were not happy with the experience.Judy W.
The two people doing the U-Haul rentals at this location refused to wear masks even though they are mandatory in this state. They stated that since they were the owners of the Market they did not have to follow the mandates. They allowed customers inside their store who were not wearing masks. I was stuck using this location as no others near me had the trailer I needed available on a moments notice (I checked after I discovered they were not wearing masks and refused to to so). I will never use this location in the future. I will likely rent my trailers from another local business in the future even though their rates are higher because they are enforcing the mandates that keep us all safe.Jerry M.

My truck reservations were in modesto they told me no I have to go to Stockton then they told me no I've to go to Lodi then they told me no to back to stocked are 40 plus miles chasing uhaul trucks all over Central Valley i did everything right made reservations an booked a uhaul truck. Person assisting me was rude. He made a comment as to the amount it was going to cost me and when I told him that was Not the amount I agreed on he got LOUD and told me he was just doing his job. The location was not open upon arrival, location was 35 min late to open which caused me to be 45 min late to moving from location, which in turn caused me to have to pay additional 1 hour for movers.Hamza A.

Don't give reservations you don't intend to honor. We reserved a 15ft at Hammer but when we went to pick up thee was none. Traffic said they had one for us at Wilson but it turned out to be a lie. Then Lodi the same. We ended up taking adownsize 10ft which Forbes us to rent for 2 days instead of 1 dayOlufunmilayo H.
