I ordered a dolly and they didn’t have a dolly. So I had to travel to another site to get a dolly and that took over 30 minutes to get one. I will most likely go to a different service if I need a box truck.

Refund what was stolen from me. I rented your truck to transport a treadmill to the City Dump which is only 2.7 miles from my house and only 0.8 miles from the U-haul location. I only traveled 6 mile and returned the truck. I was told I traveled over 20 miles and would be charged 27 dollars and change for mileage. I provided the employee with the receipt from the City Dump I had left just 10 minutes earlier. The receipt provided the date, time and location address. Not to mention I asked the employee to down a walk around for mileage, gas tank level and damage before I left with the truck. The employee told me They don’t do walk arounds. I brought this up to the employee, who had no respond. I rented from the 364 Main St. Norwich CT 06360. All this after refusing to leave and just be emailing a receipt, because the password would work to to access the system for some reason. If something isn’t done about this , I will never use your business again.

Just don't rent a U-haul or buy furniture from the blonde girl. I simply said the gas gauge was lower in the truck than it was on the paper she gave me when I picked up a U-haul, and she became incredibly rude and stormed off. I'm not sure why anybody in this world would employ her in sales/customer service. Hence, she charged me for 4 extra gallons of gas instead of 2!

Overall I was happy with the rental. This was my 1st time using UHaul. The vehicle has an issue with turning the ignition key. For some reason, the key doesn’t always work when trying to turn over the ignition. We were stuck a couple of times. The process and steps to get the key was truly ridiculous and took a lot of time. I’m appreciative of no surprises when I returned the vehicle. The bill remained the same.

Dropped off after hours and dropped keys in a lock box. The parking lot was small and hard to park the 26 foot truck. Also the entrance is a sharp turn and had to drive over the curb to get in.

Very hard for employees to access the uhaul system from thier computers. Truck has a roof leak that caused water damage to some of my belongings.

They did not have my truck upon arrival, said they knew almost two hours earlier and did not call. The front desk woman had an attitude when I took it upon myself to call uhaul and see my options as they had another truck there that I was told I could not have. When I called uhaul I was told I could take that truck as it was not being used until the next night. I came back in and the woman asked what I was back for as they had sent us off to find a truck at another location. When I told her she said well you’ll have to wait in a rude voice after she asked me what I was back for I did not assert myself before the person she was working with. I had a wonderful uhaul rep on the phone helping and the woman then said are you going to keep them on the phone the whole time? After I hung up she did not know how to put in the discount as the truck was a size up and uhaul authorized giving it at the original price so she said well you’re going to have it at the higher price and I said no you’re going to need to call them back to see how to put the discount in to which she rolled her eyes and when I looked directly at her she said she was rolling them at the cash register. Overall a horrible experience.

I ordered a utility dolly, it was not in the truck upon arrival. I was told by a U-Haul representative to wait another half hour, that I would be able to go into the store where I did the truck share pick up, and I would be able to get a dolly from them. I question this because it was a furniture store and not a U-Haul location… But I was assured that I would be able to get the dolly. They process to get approved to move the truck off the lot took a half hour, and then it took another half hour for me to get the dolly. Oh wait, I didn’t get the dolly because when the store opened, as predicted, they did not have one. So a very nice woman from the traffic division called around and found me one at a store across town. This took an additional half hour to get to . So some thing that could’ve been explained to me prior to my pick up, or remedied a week earlier when I made the reservation, I ended up taking two hours off of my day. I took the day off from work and allotted a certain amount of time for this to happen. I ended up doing this move late into the night because of this. Then I got an invoice claiming that I was charged over $100 for something that should’ve been around 50 or 60. This was clarified with a U-Haul rep who quoted me a $47 invoice… A few days later I get another invoice for $57. I have rented from U-Haul before, but this situation was ridiculous and no truly satisfactory resolution was offered.

I was nervous cuz I don't drive big trucks. I wish we had an extra 30 mins as we left the kitchen table. N benches. Most things will fit in the car. I think I was more worried we ran out of time. I'm sorry about the gas tho.

I would not recommend any contactless pickup or drop off with Uhaul, based on my experience. That said, Amazing Furniture did have staff capable of completing the transaction, however void of helpful information they may have been.

The blonde woman, who may have been the manager, was very nice & competent, her staff were awful - rude, incompetent. Also, Norwich currently has a mask mandate (high transmission area) and not a single employee wore a mask in there. UHaul needs to do something about the terrible service their locations offer. The place in Columbia CT is a million times worse. Also, both locations seem to have zero problem making their political views known in obnoxious manners - no need for that at all.

You charged me gas when I picked up the I haul it had a quarter tank and I brought it back with a quarter tank.
