I ordered a utility dolly, it was not in the truck upon arrival. I was told by a U-Haul representative to wait another half hour, that I would be able to go into the store where I did the truck share pick up, and I would be able to get a dolly from them. I question this because it was a furniture store and not a U-Haul locationâ€¦ But I was assured that I would be able to get the dolly. They process to get approved to move the truck off the lot took a half hour, and then it took another half hour for me to get the dolly. Oh wait, I didn't get the dolly because when the store opened, as predicted, they did not have one. So a very nice woman from the traffic division called around and found me one at a store across town. This took an additional half hour to get to . So some thing that could've been explained to me prior to my pick up, or remedied a week earlier when I made the reservation, I ended up taking two hours off of my day. I took the day off from work and allotted a certain amount of time for this to happen. I ended up doing this move late into the night because of this. Then I got an invoice claiming that I was charged over $100 for something that should've been around 50 or 60. This was clarified with a U-Haul rep who quoted me a $47 invoiceâ€¦ A few days later I get another invoice for $57. I have rented from U-Haul before, but this situation was ridiculous and no truly satisfactory resolution was offered.Kristin C.

I was nervous cuz I don't drive big trucks. I wish we had an extra 30 mins as we left the kitchen table. N benches. Most things will fit in the car. I think I was more worried we ran out of time. I'm sorry about the gas tho.KARIN J.

I would not recommend any contactless pickup or drop off with Uhaul, based on my experience. That said, Amazing Furniture did have staff capable of completing the transaction, however void of helpful information they may have been.William T.

The blonde woman, who may have been the manager, was very nice & competent, her staff were awful - rude, incompetent. Also, Norwich currently has a mask mandate (high transmission area) and not a single employee wore a mask in there. UHaul needs to do something about the terrible service their locations offer. The place in Columbia CT is a million times worse. Also, both locations seem to have zero problem making their political views known in obnoxious manners - no need for that at all.Stephanie J.
