The uhaul had no gas in it, it was dirty from last use. The cab smelled of cat pee and when I hit the brake the whole front end shook.

Honor your contract! I was told one rate then promised a discount to drop off at a specific location. I agreed and when I went to pick up the truck it was back to the original price. The pick up location was changed to a place over and hour and a half away! 3 hour round trip! This was the last time I rent from this company! And I will make sure everyone knows how dishonest this company is! I really hope the $300 was worth it!

This is our second rental in a month. We selected an alternate location for the second because the first did not have the moving blankets when we arrived. When we arrived to pick up the second truck at this location, they did not have the ordered dolly or moving blankets. It is unacceptable to offer these items if you won’t have them available. It gave us no time to prepare for alternative protective options and moving assistance.

The service on the truck was so poor from Arizona that I had to return the equipment back the very same day four hours later I really requested you guys would consider refunding me the money that was a very terrible experience on that particular unit.

This is how U-Haul locations should be run. Gentlemen was very helpful. The U-Haul employees on the phone were terrible. If not for this gentlemen and his location we would’ve got screwed. Pay attention took U-Haul. You could learn a lot from this location.

I was there to pick up the equipment. and the computer system was down and he said that he could not rent anything. I did all this online y’all need to come up with something. Luckily the system came back up I was able to rent the trailer and do what I needed to do, but if not, it would’ve cost me a lot of money, need to come up with a way to rent something with out the computer You have all my information credit card information and all that you think it’s something y’all could do. If this happens again, most likely I will go to another company.

I started to drop the car hauler off at a location on highway 100 and I’ll never go into that location again.

Tire on van was almost flat, oil change light stayed on, mileage was not visible because of those lights, employee insisted on charging me insurance despite my insurance company covering rentals, employee was rude though he did re-inflate the tire. He insisted that he did not represent UHaul but only rented them. Overall, not a good experience although the van did get the job done. Fuel was only less than 1/4 full when I picked it up, necessitating two trips to the gas station. Not good service!

That was the dirtiest truck I’ve ever rented from U-Haul There was dirt all over the floor, ashes cigarette ashes on the steering wheel in the windows. They must the last person that rented that truck must had a dog in it, because there was dog prints, all in all the windshield and the windows. I suggestion is to clean the trucks before you rent them the next time.

the man that was at this location was extremely polite and helpful and acknowlegable about the car transport and even though he can only walk with a cane he came out and made sure everything was attached correctly and all the lights were in working order and all was well and made sure i had all my questions answered before departing this location and when i returned the next day he was still helpful and very polite, thank you for a great experience

I was very upset that I had to wait 2 hours at a gas station for a new mirror because the other fell off because the equipment was not well kept.

When we arrived to pickup location we were told the truck was on empty and we needed to go get the truck filled BEFORE we hooked up the trailer. We spent $93 on gas. I even called and reported all of this. After the fact and once trailer was hooked up guy said just return with 1/4 tank we gave you a $24 credit. When we turned the truck in. The girl in Fanning Springs said we were getting another $70 credit and showed me in the paperwork that we would be getting $70 extra because of the empty truck and amount of gas in truck upon return as well as circumstances at pick up location!! Today I see we got $50 more!! Not $70! Not a good way to deal with regular customers!! I will be checking elsewhere next time!! Not happy with the way we were dealt with!! If your people are too lazy to drive across the street to fill a truck then they should not be allowed to deal with customers and make them do their job!! Not happy at all with my experience or the way your company treats their customers!! Moving is stressful enough without being conned by a greedy corporation!!

I have used American Mini Storage for my Uhaul rentals for a few years now and I like that they have had the same staff James and Eric, and that they are very pleasant and helpful. I also like that they are open for business 7 days

The office staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a very wet rainy season in Florida this year and all of our items were safe and dry. No issues with any insect pests, everything was sealed. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone.

There is one employee (who opens the store) is in need of customer service training. Every time I have dealt with him he is rude, no eye contact, very uncomfortable to deal with. This time, i waited outside for 10 minutes for him to open the door. When he finally came, no apology, nothing.

The equipment ran just fine! However, It had not been cleaned before we took over. There was literally trash in the back of the box. (I took pictures if you want to see it) We had just rented another truck the week before up in Jacksonville and it was "perfect". Besides needing to be clean, there was an odd windshield deformation right in front of the driver! Looking through this area was like looking through some "wavy-glass". To see clearly, I would have to lean over into the middle seat area. Pretty frustrating. Fortunately, I didn't have to drive it any more than a total of three hours. Everything else ran as it was supposed to run.

I have been using this location for a few years now for uhaul rentals and storage units; and the staff James and Eric have always been professional and helpful with our needs. We have always had a pleasant experience and plan to continue to use this location.

Once we received the truck it was in okay condition. The front was not clean and you could tell the back of the truck was not swept out. Once I was finished with the truck I had put $25 in gas into the tank to make sure that I was at the 5/16th mark so I would not receive the gas fee. When I was dropping off the truck, he said that we were at 1/4 of a tank and charged us $19 for gas. I find it very weird how I was at a 1/4 of a tank when I filled out gas into the truck to make sure it was above that line. I would like to see the pictures the Uhaul representative took of the gas gage. Worst Uhaul experience I have had so far.

This was the only location, an hour away to rent a 5’ x 9’ trailer to carry my Harley Trike for an upcoming trip. I don’t smoke but I guess those in the facility do. I rented a single axle trailer and when I picked it up, I was told that “If the tires blow, to make sure they are replaced with Radial Tires!” This then prompted me to look at the tires and see they were wore beyond an acceptable level, and yep!. Our 10 day trip took us from FLorida, to Buffalo and back to Florida. On day 1, while driving through SC I stopped to get gas and noticed there was a Chunk of driver’s side tire missing. I wish I could attached pictures to this review but I am not allowed. So with a family of 5, and 2 dogs, we waited for roadside service which was a 2 hour delay. When they arrived, I asked about replacing the other tire but they chose not to. While in Buffalo a few days later I noticed the passenger’s side tire was losing air. I pumped it up to discover an obvious leak coming from the bottom of the worn out tread. There were no puncture, it was because the tire was old. This time Rusiniak’s showed up, fixed the tire (meaning installing an new radial tire) and this is when I learned I should have never been allowed to drive with a mix of Radial and bias ply tires. If you rent any equipment from U-haul, check it over thoroughly. Any one of these tires blowing out on the road could have caused a major accident injuring myself, family or nearby travelers. Need to maintain the equipment better. When I returned my trailer I learned and saw a similar trailer in which I was told words to the effect of “ hey, yours is pretty good, that one over there, the axle broke.”

The guy that works there with a cane is very rude and disrespectful to me and my family I lost my key and was gonna cut my own lick off so I could get into my unit, and he slammed open the office door and said if I brought my cutters in the fence he would call the law on me but I could pay him $25 to cut it hisself . I'm sorry but it was my $9 lock I feel if I wanted to cut it I should of been able too. I'm just saying so maybe he needs at attitude ajustment or a new line of work but office is not his line I was also in there before that and the way he talks to the customers is just plain out rude .

I wish I could remember the guys name that took my reservation because he gave me some of the best customer service I’ve ever gotten. Period. He even went out of his way to look for something to help me load a 4wheeler in my truck because I forgot ramps. He was very helpful the 3 times I was there. As was another gentleman that was there with him when I checked out. I’ve used several mini storage type places in the past, most with less than desirable staff but these guys are awesome. He’s a big bearded guy wish I could remember his name.

No, my items were damaged in climate controlled unit that I paid double the price for; definitely wasn’t pleased. Staff was friendly but more focused on upselling locks for the unit.

We have been paying for this storage unit for more than 3 years spending collectively over $2500. We were hoping to pay a pro rated amount to cancel our service and empty our storage unit. Instead, Eric made my mom pay the full month rent at $75. I will never recommend this place when they value money over service. Eric said we do not pro rate storage fees. This is the simple consequence to his action. I have already left a negative Yelp Review and will move forward with a negative Google review as well. Hope the small amount of money was worth it.
