Equipment was in good condition. Attendant had the trailer ready and waiting for pickup. Trailer return was after hours at the same self storage facility as pickup. There was no attendant available for the return but cameras apparently observed the return enabling simple process for the customer. The only part missing was confirmation that the trailer condition was correct at the return location prior to customer departing.DONALD P.

We drove away with an unsafe truck. We got on the freeway and it shook and pulled right. We called American storage and they said to take it to another UHAUL place cross town. We could only go 35mph. Took back streets due to the unsafe truck. Never rent a UHAUL again. The truck we exchanged for had issues too. Waited 3 hours for a tech in Hila Bend ,AZ . The voltage regulator out on that truck. Tech charged it up and said good luck. We were driving to San Diego. The tech found 16 diagnostic wrong with that truck. One was the brakes which he didn't mention. We found that out going down hills toward SD We could go only 50 MPH. My husband met us in Octillo and followed us all the way to SD with his hazards on because the hazards didn't work in the UHAUL. I was moving out of state. I am a single woman and a senior. I was not given or offered help with putting my car on the tow. I asked but the representative was in a hurry to get to his lunch and did not offer before traveling the man who assisted with the loading of the car and securing it informed me that the area where the toggle buckle attaches was bent and came off during travel..also the plug for the tow lights was unattached and I had no light.I did not know how to reattach. The online reservation process needs to change. Too many screens and too many attempts to up sale. Particularly aggravating that unwanted items are preselected. Bad practice on U-Hauls part. The guy on location was helpful but didn't have the trailer I reserved on line.Steven R.

If you have never worked with David before you are in for a treat. He is the most down-to-earth , honest guy I have met in quote a while. If he says he'll do it he does. He is neither intimidated nor bound by the U-Haul corporate policies, which appear to mirror all American Corporations of the time, greedy investors and stock-holders led by corporate puppets. You will find this a refreshing experience, different and better than any U-Haul experience you have ever had before. I'll be back!Steve M.

The guy running the location seemed very poorly trained, both in U-haul operations and in customer service. He knew what time we would be arriving, but he hadn't checked in our truck from the night before, even though we arrived half an hour after opening. He kept us waiting for more than 45 minutes even though we were the only customers there. At one point he had to call another associate at a different location for help, and then once on the phone with her, he proceeded to ask about inventory/computer issues while we stood there waiting.Amanda H.
