They took an hour to check me in- which I had done mostly online - then after being patient for 45 mins - I said I was getting frustrated with how long it was taking - the girl got defensive and said they were new at this and that I should have planned ahead better! Really? I should have planned for something I did not know- that they were new and learning? When I told her I had several people standing around at my storage unit - that I was paying by the hour - she could have cared less!! Then by the time I finally got the keys- the U-Haul wouldn’t start!! She was not going to take responsibility for not checking the truck when they got it. She said “we just got that one in” we didn’t know it wouldn’t start. Knowing it was reserved- they should have checked it when they got it!! She had no solution when I asked what should I do if it won’t start again after I take it off the lot. I will never rent another U-Haul again! I don’t understand why people can’t just take responsibility and are so defensive when we are paying for a service. Just make it right!! Should I ever move again- I’ll hire movers!! Don’t rent a U-Haul from Amity Oregon!!!
