he would not check or take pics. of it hooked up .... then when i returned trailer... he told me to get the FUCK OUT OF HIS STORE and called the police on me ((BECAUSE I REPORTED HIM TO UHAUL ))) I WILL TELL EVERY ONE I KNOW ABOUT THIScliff H.
Had some major issues with my recent U-Haul Rental Issue #1: In picking up my 5x8 Trailer I was first given a Trailer that did not have operational tail lights. As the vendor had no one to assist me in hooking up the Trailer, as they were unable to leave the Cash Register, I spent an hour trying to figure out the problem. I eventually discovered that 2 of the 4 wires at the electrical connection between the Trailer and the wire that eventually leads to the connector that attaches to my SUV were cut. So the Clerk, redid the paperwork and assigned me a replacement Trailer. Upon inspection of that replacement Trailer, I noticed that Trailer did not have the wire that extends from the Trailer to my SUV. Back to the Clerk I went. Before heading back, I did however notice a good connecting wire on a third Trailer and told the Clerk I would use that one on the first Trailer as I had already hooked that Trailer up to my SUV, so he switched the paperwork back again. That fixed the problem but cost me an hour of my time and a lot of frustration. Issue #2: Halfway to my destination at a Gas stop, I very fortunately noticed a large bulge in the Trailer passenger side tire. I suspect I was going to shortly experience a dangerous tire blow-out if I had not spotted this issue at this stop. Very concerning as I had a loaded Trailer and my wife and 2 daughters in the car with me. I called the U-Haul Roadside Assistance # and got a VERY helpful representative Ayden who after a 15 minute call and 15 minutes or so callback, let me know that someone would be out within the hour to change my tire. After an hour and 15 minutes with the rep re-checking with the Tire Repair person I was told it would be another 30 minutes, that timeline was also not met and the total wait for the Tire replacement wound up being almost 2 hours. Total delay from when I first reported the issue to resolution was 2 1/2 hours more of lost time and frustration. The replacement of the Tire itself took only 5 minutes. The delay caused me to miss the window for my loading dock reservation at my daughter's new apartment causing me to work well into the night. I replied to a email from U-Haul asking if I had any concerns with my rental with an email with the above correspondence, but did not get a reply. I followed up with a phone call to Customer Service. I later was received a call back from a Manager (Jerry), who said he would give me some type of VIP Credit towards my next rental via an email by the next day. That was now over 3 days ago and I still have not heard anything back. I'd have preferred they would have adjusted my original invoice and credited my account. I have rented from U-Haul frequently in the past and this is by far my worst experience. Again, I had hoped that U-Haul would have extended me a credit on this rental but none was offered. Note: This was a 3 day rental and I also did return it in a day and a half early. I would definitely think twice about renting from U-Haul ever again.Joseph M.

Although the name is Amoco West Market, this is actually a BP Service Station. It may be helpful to note that on the order. It was a little confusing to locate. Very nice man though and helpful.David F.
The app is very difficult to use for check ins. This is the second time in the last two weeks I've tried to use the app and been forced to do an in person check in instead because the app would not work at all.Jeff B.
The guy at the counter taking my order was hard to understand and did not seem to care that I could not hear what he was saying or about anything else.DANIEL R.
All I'm pissed about is no one gave my husband a receipt Still don't know how much you charged us.Debbie A.
this guy is a ripe off. charged me $577 for one day rental and gave me directions to the dupe to get rid of the previous users junk left on the truckDona W.
Do not use convince stores not experienced with U-haulrentaldavid G.
Took 50 minutes at the dealer to check out because the computer would not complete the original online reservation and a new one had to be created. We have used this dealer in the past with no issues and we figure that this rental mishap was a fluke.Robert V.

Service was a little slow due to the fact there was one person to run the convince satire and so he was covering both the uhaul and the store made for a longer wait. But I guess it couldn't be helped.SHERRIE M.
Dealt with rep over the phone but it all worked well. Had I not been experienced with this trailer type, it might have been helpful to have someone there to ensure everything was connected properly.Joel G.

I was overcharged, total for initial pick up should've been should've been about $188.04 (base price $99. + extra day $40. + coverage for 2 days total of $28, not $56..). Request this be fixed and appropriate credit of $60.99 be applied to my card.Gary D.
The agent said my "trailer was not on his list" and took my papers into the store. After 20 minutes I got tired of waiting and went into the store to see what the hold up was, only to find that the agent had left and given my papers to cashier at the counter and said "to give them to us if we came in. He didn't bother coming out to tell us that the vehicle had been "checked in". Later when he did show up, I asked him why he didn't have the courtesy to come out and tell me that we were checked in, his answer was "you should receive an email". I asked him "Do I look like I'm sitting at my computer checking my email?" The trailer was not equipped with a tongue jack to lift the tongue off of the tow vehicle. All of the Uhaul agents that I spoke to, acknowledged that it was the responsibility of the Uhaul agent to unhook the trailer from the tow vehicle, but he refused saying it was my responsibility. I am recovering from shoulder surgery and not allowed to lift heavy weights. My wife is not physically strong enough to lift the tongue of trailer either. After three hours of listening to lies from their "Customer Service" people. we resolved the issue ourselves.and left. Their Customer Service department will tell you any lie necessary to get you off of the phone. One of the many things that you will hear as you are waiting to talk to a live person, is that the conversation will be be recorded and that if you ask the agent, they will send you a copy. We asked .... it was another lie. Once they have your money, they will say anything they need to to get you off of the phone. Example: I will have the District Manager look into this and call you in just a few minutes. It never happened even though we were promised this three times. They will say anything to get you off of the phone once they have your money and will not compensate you in any way for your frustration or delays.Kieth G.

I was sent confirmation the day I made the reservation on line for a specific location. Two days later I get an email telling me a different pick up location that was 20 miles away. When I went to pick up, the truck had so many bugs on the windshield that I hardly could see. The sweet girl trying to register my pick up, after I did it all on line, had no idea what she was doing and she was tryin to wait on customers. In the end, I was charged for 6 miles over my contract mileage. NEVER AGAINTara G.
Im very upset about the rate, i had a trailer for less than 24hrs and it cost $200.daniel S.

Extremely nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable in the U-Haul rental equipment.Rusby C.
The cargo area had to be cleaned by us before we could use the truck. The location we used moved our reservation without telling us, which added 12 miles to the rental and caused us to pay an additional $12 dollars, and wasting an hour of our day. I tried to call customer service and was transferred twice before being put on eternal hold. I hung up after 30 minutes because we still had a move to do. I wish I could rate this experience as zero stars.William R.

Better signage in the front indicating location name. Gas station is not an Amoco. Otherwise easy to deal with. ThanksBilly H.
We saved some money returning the trailer Jasper instead of Ellijay. It's convenience store with handles U-Haul on the side, but the service in making our return was as good or better than most full-time U-Haul storefronts. We also like this store is open seven days a week.Doug R.
Everything about the rental went perfect. Never a question, always the best!!! Thank you for your service!!Terry H.
Great customer service!Philip W.
The drop off spot was easy and fast. The pickup took awhile but in the young man's defense he was the only clerk in a very busy convenience store. I would use them again .Jane D.

I completed all paperwork and payment online, yet when I arrived to pick it up, I had to provide lots of information again. It would seem practical to establish a digital link that the site could access to make it quicker. thanksKathleen T.
Jim at Amaco was awesome. Just fantastic. Bent over backwards to help us. We want to acknowledge the Area Field Manager, Chris Jones, who made a three 26 foot truck move possible on an extremely busy weekend. *****Noelle Loehcamp A.

It took me almost 40 minutes to pick up the truck. The employee didn't know what she was doing, the computer wasn't working. The truck had an old cup in it and cup holders were dirty. I reserved a refrigerator hand truck which they did not have.Heather W.
Evaluate whether this location should be utilized as a UHaul rental facility. The cashier did not know how to process a UHaul reservation rental. It took almost an hour of standing there and waiting while she checked out other customers. I was with three movers who were charging $85 an hour - waiting. Finally the owner showed up and processed the reservation within minutes. It was needlessly frustrating and the young woman behind the counter has apparently had the same problems over and over again.Elberta M.

She was conducting unprofessional conversations and pushed me aside to assist other customers. She did not understand check-in procedures or U-Haul systems. After waiting 1&1/2 hrs I was told to leave truck, and she would check-in at her convenience. I did not leave until she signed contract w/date & time I returned truck per contract, full gas & all blankets.nina H.
Was told by cashier at grocery store/uhaul drop off that we needed to separate tow dolly from truck because "we don't do that here." Could not get items checked in because cashier didn't know how to work the system. Ended up paying cash for mileage overage because we had stood there more than 30 minutes waiting on cashier to check out 2 dozen people buying beer, Skoal and gas.Ashley L.

CAB AND BOX HAD TRASH, TOOK 45 MINUTES TO GET PAPERWORK EVEN THOUGH I RESERVED AHEADnicole C.
My understanding has been that rental was for 24 hours. I rented a 6x12 trailer at 12:00 pm with an estimated cost of $40 +. I returned the trailer 9 hours later and was told the charge would be $80+. because It was due back at 7pm. Sure enough the renting clerk entered 7pm as a return time. Not a good way to do business. $80 for 9 hour trailer rental? Really? After some hell raising the return clerk did correct it.ROBERT B.
The team seemed very disorganized / untrained. Once I got home, I realized I was not provided the appliance dolly or furniture mats as charged / requested. I refused to go back to that location.Christopher C.
I rented a car trailer. Both of the web tie-downs that go over the front wheels of the car were missing the strap that goes into the tightening ratchet. Also, the lights need to be checked. I plugged into the factory-installed light connector of my Ford F150 , and the left brake and signal lights of the trailer did not work. I don't know if the problem was with my connector or with the trailer. Overall the trailer worked fine and enabled me to pick up my stranded car. I just thought you might want to know the trailer needs to be serviced.JOHN H.
This was by far the worst experience with Uhaul that I have ever had. I reserved a truck in Canton then told that I wasn't going to get the truck size I wanted and had to go to Woodstock to get a bigger truck. I told the dispatcher that I couldn't do that so she finds me the truck size I wanted in Jasper. I went to pick up in Jasper and tried to check in from my phone. All went fine (and my card was charged $81) until I went to get the keys from the people at the front desk who told me my truck (which I had already found) wasn't on their lot and wasn't in their system and I couldn't get the keys. I cancelled my online check in and called the company. I was then able to get the keys to my truck but they charged my card another $71 and added truck insurance that I specifically said that I didn't want. When I go to check the truck back in at the same place in Jasper, they tell me that I have to take the truck back to Canton. I called the company AGAIN and they told me that I could check in the truck at the location in Jasper. Once check in was done, the girl behind the counter told me that the total cost would only be $45 and my card would be credited what I overpaid. Instead of my card being credited, I was charged ANOTHER $45 without my authorization. So now there is a nearly a $200 charge on my card. They changed my original deal, check in/check out locations, and overcharged me. This is the LAST TIME I will ever use Uhaul.Vanessa L.

Long wait to pick up equipment. About 30 mins just to get paperwork signed. And I wasn't notified of change in pick up location until 30 mins before pickup. With a 25 mile difference in locations. This added over an hour to my move time. Especially since the rental place wasn't even ready when I got there and had to call customer support or someone to figure out how to get me the rental.Calandra C.

Nothing...great experience.Adam R.
Needed a truck for about 45 minutes to travel a total of roughly 15 miles round trip (ended up being 19 miles). I got the smallest truck they had and it ended up costing $54. I wish U-haul had a "rent by the hour" option or something so it was a little more affordable. 99 cents a mile is crazy. At that rate, driving from Georgia to Seattle would be roughly $3,500 in mileage alone!TONY B.
Seemed kind of strange... Just a gas station where you can drop off u-hauls. There was no assistance with the drop off.Katy H.
