My rental truck had a bad odor from a previous user...possible that a physical inspection of the vehicle wasnt possible with weekend drop off and pick up, but otherwise, excellent experience.

Adam S.Mobile pick up and drop off is really easy and convenient allowing me to pick up end of day and return and check out. Being in an industrial park, the location may not allow female customers to feel overly comfortable - my wife wouldn't want to spend 15 minutes there if she were alone and returning a vehicle after dark. For me, excellent and easy. Will rent again as needed from this location. Staff contacted me before the end of their day to ensure I was all set for a convenient pick-up. Great service.

Edward T.I called on Thursday the 24th, 2022, to check that the pickup truck I was to pick up on the following day was on the lot and as well check that it had a towing receiver. We arrived Friday the 25th to pick up the truck to find there were muddy dog footprints and dog hair all over the passenger seat and middle armrest. It was a mess. The truck had been there at least 24 hours and had not been cleaned. I had to spend my time to vacuum and wash out the truck. It was really disappointing. The fellow hadn't bothered to clean it and just said that's the way it is! We were in a bind or we would not have accepted the truck. The attitude of the fellow that rented it to us was very indifferent, take it or leave it! I have not experienced this EVER at a U-Haul dealership. I was not offered any compensation for my time to clean it other than I wouldn't be charged if it was not clean when I returned it. I have rented from U-Haul many times, and have had really good experiences but this was not one of them.

And don't be rude this is biggest issue not pleasant to deal with and wasted my time and gas first day then rude and ignorant upon drop off. Not we ever using this location again.

Peter B.The location was not the issue. The truck leaking water when it rained and the auto transport tire strap coming loose several times was why I was not happy with this particular move. It was a long one and very costly. We had to divert our trip several times to compensate for the leaking and fear of losing the van attached to the auto transport. The location was great in Ancaster but I didn't even pick up the truck there.

Kevin C.Passenger side mirror is loose and spins freely. No visibility when changing lanes. Dangerous. Last customer left tank at 1/4 full and paid charge. Agent knew this but left it at 1/4 tank. I received the equipment and had to add stop to fuel for my move.
Glenn C.pickup was a real problem as site was closed and only on-line pickup was available. I was led to believe site was open & pickup could be done in person. Fortunately, phone help was beyond excellent & eventually I was able to retrieve vehicle.

Susan M.I have serious privacy and security concerns that as a condition of rental, U-Haul demands an electronic scan of my driver's license. I believe this is a personal privacy over-reach. The long-term risk of providing such sensitive personal information weighed against the act of renting a vehicle for 4-hours is unjustified. No company today can guarantee they will not be hacked thereby placing my personal information into hands that may cause me long term harm. How can you improve your service? Stop collecting e-scans of your customer's driver license information. Don't make e-scans a condition of rental. If a customer refuses an e-scan of their drivers' license, then simply photocopy the license and return the photocopy to the renter upon vehicle return.

Adrian B.Great service from the gentleman at the desk. The headlights on the truck were very dim and should be looked at by maintenance. I found it very hard to see on the highway and on City roads where there were no lights I had to use high beams to get any type of light on the road. Once I return the truck I was very frustrated because I could not shut the cabin light off. The process of returning the truck was equally as frustrating because it was pouring rain like I've never seen before and I could not download the app to make it easy for me to return at 11 p.m. at night. I think that process is flawed and needs rethinking. I returned the truck with no problem except for those issues. I appreciate your time.
Anthony L.I would have given an excellent review HOWEVER they should have said that as the location would be closed the day I returned the vehicle that I needed to keep the keys WITH ME before finishing the return online. There are many steps that require photos. It took forever to return this vehicle.
CARRIE K.Need to increase GPS range to pickup 24/7. I was in the driveway of the location and it said I wasn't there yet and could not start my checkin. I had to move multiple times before I found a location where it recognized that I was there so I could get the checkin process to start
R Jeffrey J.Computer system showed my reservation on my phone and in email confirmation for 9 am as requested. Dealer computer showed 10 am when I arrived (Sept 2nd rental - Norton). The location manager made everything right 😃, but the computer system is obviously flawed.
