Experience was very good. Booked on line weeks ago. Went 4 days early to the U-Haul / mini storage place as I was in the area. Asked questions to JT? who was very helpful with the online process I was going to complete later in the week. Called the day before, and changed to an earlier pick up time. Drop off was efficient. Estimated cost was less than $10 from actual cost. No issues at all. Excellent experience.

This was not a location issue. This was an issue with U-Haul operating under a false pretense. I received an email the day prior to my pick up and in the email it states guaranteed 20 foot truck for the duration of the time I reserved. 4 hours after that email I received a phone call, the representative calling for U-Haul told me the truck I rented was not available at the location I chose. This is literally less than 24 hours out. However, I could go to another location, in which was in another city to get a 20 foot truck. U-Haul is operating under false advertising by using the word guaranteed however not following through. In an already stressful situation, moving out of town and on a time restraint, this is completely unacceptable. I asked the representative to deliver our truck to the location I chose and I was told uhaul doesn’t offer this. I am certain you are aware of how a moving day works, of how hired help works and how pressing time is. I was offered a truck half the size of the one I rented. The one trip back-and-forth became two trips,we lost half of our help because I had only secured them for two hours, which became a five hour job. The whole experience was a complete nightmare and I will never use U-Haul again.

Francois MIf there is a problem with meeting the rental agreement, calling customer nore than one day before would be appreciated. This experience is the best I've had in the last 3 years of renting. I'll be back next year to this location. Thank you for your obvious competence and courteous manner.
