Upon picking up the truck, the outside appeared to be fine. It wasn't until I got back to my apartment and opened it up that I saw the back had someone else's bed, bed frame, dresser and clothing still in it. I drove it back to where I picked it up (since they never answered the phone) and they had me back it up to an empty part of the parking lot and they dragged it all out and set it aside. Not to mention it had 12 miles to empty on it so I immediately had to put gas in it. On top of all this, when I returned it to the same place, they never closed me out. I handed them the keys and he said I was all set. Days later I received an email saying I never returned the truck. I called customer support and they said they would have it all fixed for me. A few days after that, the app still showed the truck as "active rental". I used the chat function to ask for help and all they said was they would "check with the dispatcher". Now a week has gone by and I called support again and it appears to finally have been fixed (assuming since I received this email for a survey). I've used U-Haul in the past and never had such a negative experience.
