So many other choices for storage. Not as clean as I wanted. Put things in storage in Jan and when I returned in March the insulation that had been previously TAPED to the ceiling was hanging. It was closed and we had to find some phone numbers to call. Moving and paying this amount requires talking to a person, not only talking on the phone. I believe they can improve their process. This was my second experience with Uhaul and again it was not good! The first time I booked with another branch which were using Windows XP as their operating system and it took 1 hour to check in and pay. It was very disappointing.Joshua R.

I was overcharged. The contract was clear that I would pay $4.50 per gallon for estimated fuel I did not replace + a $30 device charge. I was charged for 10 gallons of fuel ($75). I drove the truck 16.1 miles total. According to my research, the truck I rented receives 10 miles to the gallon. Apparently, this rental location believes it gets 1.61 miles per gallon if I needed to replace 10 gallons. Also, I was charged for a dolly I did not ask to rent, nor use.Abbi R.

When selecting the return location, nothing indicated this would not be a staffed location. The return website was not working when I first arrived to drop off the truck, neither the uhaul or number for the drop off location answered, and it took a very long time to wait until the site worked to complete the return. I would have preferred to take it to a staffed location.Marie R.

The desk clerk was more focused on other clients while we were attempting to rent a truck and kept bouncing back and forth between different customers. I had to repeat myself several times because of this and the truck had garbage in it from the moment we got it.CHET C.
I arrived after business hours to drop the equipment off and only had one copy of the contract. I had to take a picture of it so I would have a copy of it. It was obvious where the key drop was, but I wasn't sure if I parked the truck where it was supposed to be left. The manager at the pick up location was very rude. Then I called the 800 number and they werent any better for the situation. They had numerous accounts made for me in which was causing confusion for everyone. I will NEVER use U haul again! I will go to Budget the next time we have a move in our future. And I will refer all of my friends and family to somewhere other than U Haul as well.stephanie M.
Make sure that the personnel on duty know to check the equipment before it goes out and after it comes back. I was not informed that the location closed early on Saturdays and I had to inform the afternoons staff of the trailer's non-working left brake and turn signal bulb. I was also informed at another U-haul location that I should not have used the size of trailer I did as it was too heavy for my car even though the website allowed me to rent the size of trailer based on my type of car.Fred E.
The person filling in was not an employee and was not aware and could not answer any of our questions. We had to take the trailer at first with only 1 working tail light and then for some strange odd reason they all started working. The office could not and WOULD not work with us on return. i think the fuel gage is off i drove 10 miles is this truck.stopped to put gas in (20.00)and still didnt read right when i got to the return location..20min later gas read 3/4 tank and only needed to put in 3/8th tank..so very unhappy with thatSTEVEN B.
I originally called a different location but when I arrived they did not have what they had promised so I left and was mad as hell. At the new location everything was different. Though these people had never heard ofme,they treated me like the most important person in the world. Apperently they didn't have what I needed at this location but did at another one.By the timei had finished the paperwork and an excellent cup of coffee the truck was there and I was on my way. I would definitely recommend these hardworking ladfies to anyone needing U-haul services or self stoage servicesMICHAEL M.
Improve online processes. If the reservation is made on line use the information. The truck was reserved along with a car trailer. I had to drive the truck to find the trailer and hook it up myself. Penske would have never made me look for the trailer and hook it up on my own. I will not us u-haul again.ERIK H.
