I was told by a young man behind a desk 3 times that I couldn't go over 600 kms which I made sure I didn't! Brought back the truck clean and with more then 3/4 of a tank and got charged $84.03 extra because they said I went over the kms which was still under 600kms. Then was told by another man that the limit wasn't 600kms. If you don't want to be lied to and charged extra do not use this location. They will do anything to rip you off and charge you extra money. They will say one thing and then blindside you in a second. I learned my lesson and hopefully this review will also teach others.Tim M.

The parking area is small; there was two trucks and a trailer on-site when we arrived to drop off the 15' truck. Beyond that, it was easy to check in the vehicle using the app. Dropped off the keys to the person running the motel.Jonathan W.

Uhaul is a horrible company that only cares about themselves. In order for me to recommend uhaul in general you would have to drastically change your protocols. This was the worst move I have ever had and uhaul almost least my family homeless. Shame on you.Andrew W.
We were supposed to pick up in Bracebridge which is 42 KM away from Huntsvile. We had to drive to Huntsville, and drive both the uhaul and the car back to Bracebridge This cost us a lot in gas and money that was NOT compensated for by giving us extra mileage. We calculate that the extra gas alone cost cost us an additional $100. My money . I ordered this uhaul many weeks in advance. This should not have happened.graham D.

When we booked online, we listed that we were going to rent extra dollies and blankets for our move, however when we arrived the guy told us they had nothing left except 1 dolly because a previous customer wanted everything they had left in stock. If we had known we would not have had the items we needed, we would have booked from another uhaul dealer.Jamie C.
I booked online for a pickup at 8 am on a Sunday. I recieved 2 confirmations as well as a phone call and an instruction email on how exactly to process the pickup using my mobile phone. When I arrived at 8am the e process would not work. It took me to a page saying I could not pick until 2 pm. Also the site was strewn with garbage all over the parking lot. The motel it is connected with had no reception working. It seemed run down. I called uhaul, and had to wait 40 minutes for a call back. She did not understand what was wrong. I finally noticed a small handwritten note on the motel door saying to go across the road to another hotel if you were wishing to get a room. But no signs anywhere regarding uhaul. So I went across the road to speak to the other motel owners. They indeed seemed to be the franchisee for the uhaul. They were shocked that I had a pickup at 8am and asked me who verified it as they are not open til 2 pm. They did process my truck pickup, but so unusual. After processing my ID, they handed me the keys and sent me across to the parking lot on my own to find my own truck. No checking mileage, nothing. I would not recommend this uhaul site to anyone. Obviously they are not able to manage online orders so why not just cancel online service. The garbage was still all over the parking lot when I returned the truck 5 hours later.Joanne C.

No uhaul or motel personnel available and we weren't sure where to leave the truck keys as there was no uhaul drop box, so we left them in a random key box by the motel entrance and hope they get into the right hands.Gint M.

Have equipment ready, pay deposit back in a timely manner. We had to wait until the next day because the trailer was completely frozen including the snow in the trailer even though they knew the day before we were coming the evening of the next day. Trailer was brought back within an hour and they just did paperwork for our deposit and we are still waiting for it to be deposited. Honestly go anywhere but this uhual.MICHELLE P.

Uhaul made me drive over 1 hour to pick up the truck I had ordered almost 2 months in advance. They also did not have my car dully I had ordered and failed to tell me that the previous customer was using it longer. The closes car dully they had for me was 1.5 hours in the opposite direction of were I picked up truck. It was extremely stressful on me and my family. I find it unacceptable as I gave them 2 months notice of what I wanted and were I wanted to pick truck and trailer up. It was a complete runaround and a waste of time.Lucas G.

Check in was very unorganized, explanation of the contract was non existent. No masks were worn or any sanitizer upon entry. It was very clear that the truck was not sanitized, dusty and crumbs everywhere, even empty water bottles.JOHN C.

The person who was handling the contract was working the desks of two hotels that were right across the street from each other and we had to buzz and wait for him to come to the desk. He was polite and friendly but he did not even go out and show us the trailer or inspect it with us or offer to help us hook it up or anything (unlike my experience at other UHAULS where they hook it up and check the lights work and everything - fortunately we knew what we were doing). It was dirty inside with gravel and sand - we had to clean it before we could put our items in there. The outside was knicked and banged up and we took photos and video so we wouldn't be blamed for any damage. He told us if we returned it before 6 pm Saturday we would not be charged for the extra day that we had it booked. We brought it back before 6 pm on Saturday and he said he would process it - he never came out to check the trailer to make sure things were okay or give us anything to sign off. He was barefoot which was probably why he didn't come out. Well when we received the receipt via email we got charged for the extra day of course. I reached out to UHAUL customer service and am still waiting for a response on whether it will be credited.Cara F.

Very happy with service. Agent went out of his way to pay for a wiring extension for the trailer to hook it up to my truck. U-Haul should have a survey on the equipment itself though; not impressed with the unit at all...Maurice S.

The location is as. It picking up until 1400. I has originally booked a 1000 pick up but was moved due to truck availability. I had to forcefully explain I had to get the truck at 1000 so to fill house move deadline. Poor organization of my whole rental experience. My blankets were not provided as the operation was more concerned with cleaning his hotel rooms and ha d problems guiding through uhauls paperwork. This has been my worse experience with uhaul to date.Shaun M.
