The truck was somewhat dirty, smelled like cigarettes/cigars, ashes in the ash tray and the Check engine light was on. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Luckily I didn't have to go far and it was a somewhat nice day to be able to roll down the windows. Very nice people running the location, just kinda dirty truck in the cab.

The online price during reservation was different than the one offered during pickup. The customer service was horrible and unhelpful. No idea why the online booking price was different than the one during pickup. Deceiving customers is not the best practice especially during this age of new competitors.

I was pretty unhappy when I left so that is tainting my comments. I drove 13 miles total. I put 2 gallons in the tank. I drove less than 1 mile to the store. I was charged over $10 more because I 'didn't put gas in the truck.' I was told to go to the gas station and put gas in the truck if I didn't want to pay the $10+. I further rented blankets which I did not use. The bag was not even opened. The attendant refused to give me the $5 credit. So no, I would not recommend this location, nor will I use it again.

The costumer service was great but the truck was filthy. Someone had used the passenger side floor for an ashtray and there was mud on the inside front and the back of the truck. I had to clean it out before I could even load my stuff in it. The gas light was also on so I had to go directly to the gas station. However like I said first the lady at the service desk was very friendly and helpful. And when I called to extend my time they were also very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a good experience with the exception of the dirty truck.

There was a wet moving blanket in the cab, the ramp was so rusted it wouldn't even open, there was cigarette ashes filled in the cup holder, there were cigarette ashes on the dash and laying on the AC vents-- it was THE WORST Uhual experience I have ever had.

The owner of this location implied to me and the two customers before me (as we were returning the trucks) that we had all hit something and scratched the vehicles. He was essentially trying to scam us back to back and it was quite obvious. When I demanded a paper receipt before leaving there were no accident charges on the document but I am quite certain he is tacking on those charges to anyone who does not purchase the insurance or stand their ground.

The staff at this location was very helpful and accommodating. I was at the wrong drop-off location and the very friendly woman working the counter was able to change the drop-off to this location without incurring additional charges. I'm from Kansas City and was making a one-way trip for my son and daughter-in-law to Raleigh, NC. If I had friends in the area, I would recommend this location.

I was given a truck with the check engine light on. I reported it and was told it would be okay to drive. I requested and was granted another truck, but the process was long. This is a check cashing/ thrift store that rents Uhauls.

The uhaul customer before me came back and said there was someone shouting "Let me out". Turns out a homeless person was sleeping in the uhaul he was given. My truck only had some leftover furniture that wasn't removed and a check engine light that was on.

After I picked up my U-Haul and brought it back to my apartment when I opened up the back I found a sleeping bag with food and drink spilled all over the back, multiple blankets, there was a cigarette ashes all over the cab and used up lottery tickets. I’ve never experienced this kind of service with you all before, I returned it and he gave me another U-Haul to use, but pretty much just shrugged his shoulders, so I called U-Haul‘s Customer Service to tell him what was going on and their advice was next time make sure I pick up my U-Haul from a U-Haul facility, I ordered this U-Haul off of the number on your website thinking I was going to a U-Haul location, this is just terrible service, the guy on the phone almost made it seem like it was my fault, but I booked this U-Haul off of your website, total mess.

Despite making the reservation three days in advance when I arrived at the first location no 10' truck available. They told me I could wait an hour or more for the woman to return a four hour rental. They sent me to the above location without mentioning the name of the facility - ACE Check Cashing. I had expected a facility similar to the one where my reservation was made. Not so. Dove the truck 160 miles to Southport with the trailer light on because no told me to shut it off. Next itme I'll be dealing with Penske or Ryder.

The guy that helped use was very friendly and helpfull. I would definitely use this Location again. The store is a little hood. But its a one stop shop for paying bills for people who dont use online pay. They also sell no contract phones.

Management was horrible, I paid online and then argued with the lady when she kept (multiple times) trying to get me to pay again. Was talking to another person behind me in line while they made a copy of my drivers license and then she yelled at me when she got back because I was not paying her attention. Once they finally told me which trailer was mine, they sent me to the parking lot by myself to find it. It was behind 3 other trailers which I had to move by myself. The inside of the trailer was nasty. Cigarette butts everywhere and smelled like smoke.

I tried to do the mobile pickup and went to the location on my confirmation. There was no truck available on the app despite reserving it. So they helped me on the phone. I started the process to check it out and i got several phone calls from other agents and then was told to pick it up from the wilmington st location instead. There computers were not working and it was a frustrating experience. I am beyond disappointed with my uhaul experience

The location was ok and the truck was in good shape. But paying $86 plus gas for the use of the truck was a rip off!! I've used Uhaul bruck a number of times and never remember paying that much! I was told the weekend rates "are higher than the weekly rates', but this was not right. And all I moved was one bed box spring. I'm going to buy another pickup before I use your service again!

I had my drop off location sent at time of online rental. When I showed up the person said they were stopping their relationship with UHAUL soon. While there were Uhaul trucks in the parking lot, they would not accept the trailer rental. The person said to call uhaul. he would not do so himself, would not lend me a phone and did not know where other rental locations were. This is the worst service I've ever had with a Uhaul rental.

We were told we could drop off the keys and go. At this location -staff questioned several times to see contract which after moving I have no idea where that was. Finally she took the key and looked up in the system to confirm.

The person who I've spoken to a few times on the phone is always so pleasant and helpful, even when pushing dates, etc. I have used this location several times and will continue to do so.

The U-Haul rep should get familiar with the U-Haul systems so that it does not take so long to get the new client information entered into the system when they arrive to check in, and specially if they have already scheduled pick up online . Or maybe when they call to confirm their pickup instead of telling the caller to just come in you can go ahead and get their information ready for their arrival by looking them up in the system prior to. People do not want to spend all day waiting to check in

I did early checkin and I was there for 40 minutes trying to get my paper work for the hauler. Someone had to reenter my information over the phone to process my paper work. I had no assistance hooking up the car hauler and returning no one help to on hook it also. I will never rent from this establishment again.
