Very ignorant and rude ! Didn't even acknowledge me when I was talking to him !! Argue with my husband to park truck in narrow space, more or less called my husband a liar about gas gauge when Esso station not even a min down road from uhaul , we were to return U-Haul truck 3/4 full and that's what we put in (I watched the gauge as my husband pumped the gas ) so I know it was 3/4 . He tried charging us $40.00 extra for gas. I had a $150.00 deposit on truck out of that I received 144.00 ($6.00 for gas diff) He didn't even say ok everything is complete you will receive email of receipt of refund of $144.00. I was extremely upset of how we were treated !!! I would definitely not use this U-Haul location again Auberge Eldo Inn Blind River ontario. Elliot lake start taking 26' U-Haul trucks!!!Joe Liz H.

I made a RESERVATION (a month in advance) to pick up a U-haul in Sault Saint Marie, there was no van available so I had to drive to 140km to this location to pick up a van, this trip cost me 4 hours of time plus the expense the return trip in my personal vehicle, what was the point making a RESERVATION. Also the operator of this location is unable to communicate in English. I will be sharing my bad experience with anyone that is willing to listen.CHRISTOPHERR C.

The person at the desk did not speak much english and was difficult to understand. There were problems with the rates being significantly different than the reservation. The truck had a problem climbing a steep hill when empty. I suspect suspension issues.Cameron M.
They did not know how to disconnect the tow from the truck and they were not helpful. I think if your working in the uhaul drop off or pick up should have some minor training on how to assist in putting tow together or taking off. I think that's kind of important.Jamie Leigh B.

Upon my arrival the uhaul was sitting in ice for at least a month. It started fine but could not move. Required a tow truck to pull it out.Sandra O.

1st truck they gave us was buried in a foot of snow and ice--we had to dig it out for 1/2 hour...could not get it out; was stuck in the ice. Then had to start all over with another truck! Very bad storage of the rental items; should not have to dig them out yourself. The motel managers were very kind and helpful people; no problem with them!Lissa G.
Picked up trailer at 11am. Attendant was sleeping when I called and never offered help. Trailer was not in right position for pick up. Worker did not put trailer on properly (my first time using ihaul trailer) I almost lost the trailer on the hwy and almost lost control of my truck. The only damage I noticed was the hook off the chain, everything else was fine. When I dropped the trailer off in Sudbury I found out the knob to tighten the hitch was broken. It was like that when I picked it up!!!!!! I cannot believe this happened. I have rented from Uhaul many times and have never had this happen to me. This was the worse experience of my life. Pick up location was changed. I get there and there is no car hauler. Had to drive 2 extra hours out of my way to pick up car Hauler. 3 tires were bald and one of them even had steel sticking out of tire and the light wires were not functioning. Was given $200 discount but had to pay for my gas and wear and tear on my truck. Did not pick up the truck until 350 pm. So I just lost 4 hours of my time I could have used loading. U Haul rep makes me take a trailer off a truck. He then gives us another truck. It took a 23 point turn to get the truck out of the parking location and the fuel was only 3/8 full. It was not fueled up. Drop off location was unknown at the time because the REP could not find the Dunlop st location in BarrieLeo P.
The guy was absolutely the rudest person ever. Kept trying to touch my moms phone, then wanted to take a picture of her license. So unprofessional.leah S.

Faster pick up and return processs. Had to give the same information over and over between the initial phone call to reserve unit again at pick up again at return. Also recorded my driver's licence. Something that is illegal in Canada.dean W.

Staff was unable to make a contract, we had to do so online from our cell phone in the parking lot. The vehicle was not swept out or clean, cab was very dirty, lots of wrappers and spilled coffee and gross. Check in was difficult, staff was either untrained or uninterested in assisting us.Joe A.

The Owner came out after I unhooked the trailer asking me to back it up into a tight space. I told him that I was not comfortable doing that and he was not pleased with me. At no time either during pick up or drop off did he offer any assistanceStephanie H.
I will never recommend UHaul to anyone. Arrived at the location after having the drive another 2 hours to pick it up the day off because the location I booked a month ago did have my trailer. Arrived and the trailer was not maintenance because it has a flat tire. When asking the location owner if he check it he replied â€œnoâ€ and walked away saying â€œi can't help youâ€ and left to hide in the motel building and could no longer find him. We were leaving to do a cross Canada move so I called HR and was on the phone for 3 hours for them to not dispatch road side service. Went to a local place down the street and we had to pay to get the tire fix. Absolutely ridiculous when you're paying lots of money for something that is broken. Never reserved a call back from HR but they had the time to charge my credit card.Haley G.

Very disappointed location had garbage everywhere also was told I couldn't have a receipt for drop off I would receive a email. I did not use all the kms but when I got home the owner of the Auberge Eldo Inn added a 100.00 dollar charge to my credit card after telling me I had no charges. Now I know why he wouldn't give my a receipt. BEWARE WHEN DROPPING AT THIS LOCATIONPABLOD T.
