OLAMINIYI APerson at the desk was rude and condescending. Did not disclose fuel amount for truck and when shown that fuel amount was not full with a photo proceeded to argue on the fuel amount originally in the truck. Did the same for 3 other customers on the same day, also refuses to print out contract or acknowledge any fault/changes. Make sure to check vehicle and gas at this location prior and after returning as they will always say we will check tomorrow and you end up getting additional charges after.

John OLocation was great. No issues with pickup/drop off etc. U-haul.com online booking tool needs work. Booking workflow and UI need significant investments.
MARTYN DNo equipment at all I placed equipment order early but they never notify me until day of pick up, cost extra time to move my moving stuffs.
GEE WThe van we rented seemed to be fine, however, the customer service (or lack of) was very poor. The girl behind the desk was quite curt and rude. She was like a robot... here is the key... the vehicle is in the back... look for the number on the key.... don't park along the back... Was not responsive when we had questions, and seemed annoyed that we were even there, like we were disturbing her.
IRWIN BThis van was disgusting, vehicle was urinated in it. When we talked to ladies on the counter, they didn't care. All our stuff smell nasty after the move. I recommand uhaul to go have a immediate visit of this location without announcements. I ordered a dolly, they just carelessly announced, we don't have, how in the moving day it might happens? They should inform us in advance. Huaul supposed to be a world class company, if the business is important to you, send someone to visit this location. My daughter, has documented all the details and, I didn't let her to share wirg the media, just was waiting for the survey results.

GIORGI MBroken handbrake, no handbrake at all probably broken wire. Broken driver side mirror arm, it keep moving around unless I put tape to keep it in place. They told me this is only truck they have available which means I can only this truck which is technically not drivable safety to move my furniture. Not satisfied and 100% not coming back to this location. Also very disappointed to U-Hual for giving me this experience.
YAU CI had a terrible experience, the car has no windshield washer, the car needs to be aligned, it smelled like chemicals. Now my wife has a headache, from the smells. Either paint or solvent. The car does not wash, the interior is full of garbage, empty bottles and food from Team Hortons was everywhere.

RICHARD WThis U-Haul Location rented me a truck knowing that there was a Gasoline pipe leaking with the Engine light on & let me drive off. The truck could have Blown up on the Highway with me in it. The girls who work here laughed in my face when I told them. I will never ever use U-Haul again & this location should be immediately closed down.

Steve Sthe equipment os good but the customer service is poor. Not accompdating, very complaining not friendly or not approachable to the customer. Not in good mood. Overall I am not happy on how or the way she assisted me.
JENNETTE MWhen I got the car I went to check it and and make sure everything is good but as soon as I opened the door there was a weird smell and I couldn’t even get into the car. I went back to the office to ask to change the vehicle the employee was so rude and didn’t even listen. She just said we will change the vehicle only if it’s not drivable. I booked Uhaul before in different locations and by far this location is the worst.

sadegh bI may not have been the most astute customer in terms of this whole rental process, but I thought that I would be given a short "how to" drive the Cargo Van - i.e. shown all the specific, relevant mechanics, how to change the steering wheel position, the radio, what other functions were. At the time, I just assumed it was up to the rental company to show and tell everything. It wasn't until Sat night that the "rear view parking" activated.: I'm pulling out of a spot and suddenly this small MOVING image popped up in my mirror. Scared me at first. I wasn't aware we had that function, as it certainly wasn't visible or used during the day or even mentioned. I looked for the MANUAL which I thought was always included but couldn't find it in the dashboard glove box. Turns out it was in the central coffee holder !!! I don't think the inner cabin was ever cleaned properly: dried mud and dirt on the floor mats and entrance steps: obvious construction dust in the van itself, which could have been a problem if I had anything else but boxes. Even so, our bags were messey. As a future customer, I now know what to expect and how to ask for it. There was some confusion when I went to check the MANUAL which I assumed was part of the equipment pkg,
Anne DNot welcoming, not polite or friendly. Request made difficult as they would not accept debit card unless you put $300 deposit? Never had this problem at an actual U-Haul location.
VERONICA AThe truck smelled like a sewage garbage truck. it is clear the prior renters dumped garbage and the entire floor was filled with spew/ garbage juice. I had to use 3 of my rented moving blankets to simply cover the floor which made it so I did not have enough blankets left for the move. We had clothing, mattress and personal belongings that smell now. When we returned the truck and advised of the condition of the truck, we were told that they cannot guarantee how their truck are left from prior renter... I truly think the trucks should and need to be rented and provided in clean condition for the next renter

howard bThe dollies and blankets I rented were not in the truck. I was picking up before store hours so nothing I could do. This made my move very difficult. I called to tell them I never got them yet I was still charged for them. The 24/7 app experience was also a nightmare. Took over an hour and calls to customer service to get it sorted out. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
Joseph HI booked two Dollies (one for furniture and one for boxes) and a dozen mats and purchased insurance on the website. But when I went to pick up the truck, they said that dollies and mats were not available. They said their website does not work, and I had to buy insurance on-site (even though I bought it before on the website).
Omid GI had the U-haul truck for 2 hours. Delivered it dropped it off that day. And would you believe 3 days later? They called me asked me if I had returned the vehicle. That's pretty scary.

Stephen RI drove 83km and this place charged me 83 miles. That's an incorrect charge and they haven't replied back yet to fix the problem. That's a really a grave mistake. I would be leaving a 1 star in all other platforms if I don't hear back from next week. They can't just incorrectly charge people like that and not correct it immediately.

Shahriar RAsked me to switch dropoff location and will provide compensation of $50 for my troubles. Stated that I will receive notification of these updates. The new dropoff notification was not sent at all. Had to call u-haul during my busy moving day to confirm where am I dropping off. When asking U-haul support for help, they said it was just put into the comments section in their system and I was expected to follow those comments. Support was nice enough to provide me with the address. I also asked how I will receive compensation and they said I will have to talk to Income Tax myself as support does not know how Income Tax will provide the compensation. After hearing that, frustration continue to rise. The requested dropoff was further from my original location and required me to pay extra on the km for using the truck and also transportation to go back to my property. The experience was very lackluster. Issues with picking up the truck was already painful as it took 1hr before I was able to take the truck. Then asking me to dropoff at a different location and not providing a smooth instruction process while also not stating how I'm receiving compensation. Overall, it's a huge hassle of how I need to seek information in order for me to complete this rental reservation properly. It does not seem like I will be compensated either. 10/10 would not recommend using U-haul again.

Pragadeeshram RBad customer service, how can a client stand in front of you, and you and other workers speaking in a different language? When a customer is not getting a reasonable price. After picking full gas they still took extra gas money from me again which is a chart. Asking them and then started speaking in their local language. What even show the car you people gave us was full full 100 percent. I filled it at the gas station and the machine indicated that it was full but the guy at U-Haul said it wasn't 100 percent full so took another money from me again for gas. Secondly took a 300$ deposit which is too much. 👎👎👎👎👎
AKUA AI was charged for extra miles, i booked for 10" uhaul but i was told that only 15" uhaul is available so i should opt for that only so if company is switching truck then should include some extra miles as well.
Arjan SInitially, I had booked my pick up from a different location. After making the reservation with U-Haul and getting confirmation for it, we got a call few days later saying sorry it’s not available there and we’ll have to go get it from 100 Steeles ave. Not fair because I had booked the precise location according to what worked best for us while being cost friendly. Not only did this location end up costing us more but there was more to it. Secondly, Their address is not correct I had my booking for 12pm and the address brought me to a plaza with a Canadian tire and we kept circling the whole place looking for the U-Haul office for over 20min when we finally called the location, and they don’t respond right away either. First few calls went unanswered. When we finally spoke to someone they said it’s in the TD plaza. VERY INFORMATIVE THANK YOU VERY MUCH (sarcasm obviously). Finally found them and it was a whole other plaza north of the listed address. When mentioned to them about the address issue they said it’s not their fault it’s Google. Now next thing, I could have sworn U-Haul has a policy to be able to return to any U-Haul location regardless of where we pick up the truck from. I was told if I don’t return to the same location I’ll get charged additional $700. This is insane and unacceptable. WORST U-HAUL EXPERIENCE EVER. I don’t think I’ll ever be using U-Haul ever again. You’re better off going to any other reliable and fair company.
