The key drop box was at the back of the store in the dark alley and it had no sign that it belongs to Uhaul (so it could have been from anyone who placed it there to steal keys over night). The key drop box should be at the front of the store and have a clear indication that it belongs to Uhaul. Thanks.JISOO K.

The truck I was assigned was filthy inside. The 'check engine' light was on. Went back tot he office and told them this. The clerk said he checked himself and it was OK. I refused to take that truck. There was another one available. It was clean inside and the 'check engine' light didn't come on. However, it was VERY hard to close the driver's door. And I could not adjust the passenger side mirror. A REAL SAFETY issue.MARTIN G.
It was really fast processing and picking up the truck. I was on the road within 5 minutes of arriving. The only issue I had was that I had requested a dolly to help me with the job since I was moving a lot of heavy boxes on my own, but when I got there there were no dollys available. This could have caused my whole day to be longer and tougher. I only had the elevator booked for a certain amount of time so it was important that I could move as quickly and efficiently as possible. Luckily the condo had a dolly I was able to borrow. I just think it would be beneficial to keep stock of these items; if there are no dollys available, I should not be able to order one from that location. Other than that the experience was good. Drop off after hours was also quick and easy.Mark S.

For one way moves the drop off location should be confirmed. I had to contact the drop off location only to find out they didnt want nor could they accept the trailer. I contacted Uhaul and the agent assigned a different drop off location, which also rejected the trailer drop on the day it was due forcing me to return to a third but thankfully nearby location. This should be clarified at the point of booking and not leave the customer scrambling at the end of a long and tiring move.Jim M.

Took me a moment to realize that the odometer was in miles and the speedometer was in mph. Would have appreciated a heads up. The truck worked well, and the check in/out was fast and pleasant having completed the forms online at the time of making the reservation.Jerry N.

I got insurance for it. But they didn't accept the damage and told insurance doesn't cover the roof . So what that insurance is for? They charged me $1447 for a small damage. I wont recommend uhaul to anyone.Zari F.

There was no oil in the engine and the person working there didn't care when I showed him the oil light and the engine was knocking like a jackhammer. I needed a reliable vehicle for the move, this van vehicle was clearly never maintained!Gorazd S.

My contract was canceled before I arrived due to be later than my chosen pick up time. If I am choosing a time multiple weeks in advance, surely, there should be some flexibility to what time I arrive to get my Uhaul. Secondly, the authorized dealer said no problem and made me a new contract and the next day it was a 600 dollar bill. There was no communication that this would not be the same rate in the previous contract. I've had to call Uhaul and they've opened a dispute and investigation. This service has been so dissatisfying to me I don't think I'll ever use Uhaul again.Roberto D.

I used the mobile pickup in which directed me to then go to counter, skip the line, and request key. While that experience has been created by Uhaul to expedite things, I was told to go back and wait in line. Even though the mobile notification was to specifically skip the line, the customer refused to support and was in fact incredibly rude about it. I will never rent from this location.ERIC S.

Very very disappointed in UHaul The van was very very dirty and smelt like Horse manure. I was moving my son into university and was in the van for 5 hours and was gross .Marla B.
The inside of the truck was absolutely filthy. It was filled with receipts, used masks, crumbs and random tools. The trailer was also not serviced properly after the last person used it. It was full of rocks and branches. I had to find a broom to sweep all of it out.Kevyn C.

Have the guys actually come out and check out the truck with the customer. The ramp on my truck did not work and it causes a really big inconvenience. The truck was extremely old and had no rear view camera or sight. Felt very unsafe driving that uhaul. I will never come to this location ever again. Also got charged the highest deposite when I told the clerk I'm driving less than 15km. This is my 3rd rental in 3 weeks and have never seen a charge as high as $230 deposite. Absolutely ridiculous. Rented a truck from the beaches area and got charged $167 from the beaches to yonge and finch. Plus the guys left the office more than 5 minutes before closing when I came to ask for something. There was so many other trucks - seems like they gave me the worst one.Amro F.

I ordered some additional stuff online like utility dolly but it was not in the office, I was told to go and find it in any other Uhaul office, that their responsibility is to provide a vehicle ONLY. I was about to cancel my order, which was easily accepted by the cashier, but I asked to call to the location I rented before and the missing stuff was found there, so I had to visit two different locations to get the stuff I ordered online.Oleksiy M.

Truck was not available at the pick up time despite confirmation. I had ordered rugs and a utility cart (dolly) that this rental place doenst provide. However these items were confirmed as available when I made the order. The whole experience was a great source of inconvenience and truck was not in good condition.Mario A.

I booked the 10ft truck for August 1st on July 29th I double checked my order at the store. I also went there personally to make sure everything was fine so I could pick up the car on August 1st. Because I booked a storage and got two helpers for the move. All in all when I got there on August 1st they said we didn't have a truck and I was shocked because they didn't even give me heads up I would miss the elevator I booked and I had to pay a lot of money to the helper and they told me you have to go to another location which was 12km away from my pick up location, guess what, when i got there, the guy said all our trucks were already booked, imagine how I felt like on my moving dayyyyy I was so frustrated, they didn't even check the availability of the other location before sending me there, when I came back they told me (after wasting 1 hour of my time): â€œthere is nothing we could do and call customer service.â€ I tried to call customer service and no-one answered after waiting 40mins on the line I was so pissed After wasting one and half hour I almost missed my elevator and Bunch of money to pay helpers to keep them waiting there for me And finally after disgusting argument and wasting too much energy with impolite owner and their staff they gave me bigger truck and they charged my credit card by regular price and this was not the end of storyâ€¦. Guess what!!!! i drove only 7Miles but they charged me for 20miles and they said they forgot to adjust the milage in my contract and if I didn't took before after picture I wouldn't be able to prove it.Amir F.

They cancelled my reservation in the last minute. They didn't provide me with furniture dolley I have reserved with the vehicle, I had to accept the vehicle as I don't have another option. As I already wrote yesterday on pick-up: ---------------------------------------------- Today I rented a van just for few hours. Already returned it successfully few hours ago at the same location. Few notes to point out: 1. I did all the preparation online, including check-in process. And I did indicate my credit card details online already. IIRC your website itself suggested to do so, in order to reduce the risk my credit card would be compromised when presented at the office. Then I was surprised when I was picking up â€“ I was asked to show the credit card at the pick-up office. 2. The van itself was not in proper condition. On picking up we did make videos but unfortunately had no time to talk to the office clerks regarding the condition: 2.1. Parking brake release handle was broken. 2.2. Lights were not working at the left rear side - turn signal & stop signal. 3. When making my order yesterday I have added a dolly. But at the office I was told there is no dolly available. If I knew beforehand, I would be prepared and rented one at some other place yesterday. But today at the office I had no time to check for other places to rent a dolly. It means our moving was more stressful and difficult, and took much longer time without one. Could you please check. Thanks. Big issues existed in my today's rental experience in terms of quality of truck, very very wrong billing, computer glitch that they mentioned was cause of billing issues , wrong directions to contact customer service which I did and was not helpful at all, not enough direction and explanation in the start. All this lead to cancellation of my account with UHAUL and my might not to use UHAUL anymore unless as a very last resort. I see today's issue not an issue with the store but on UHAUL brand.kaveh M.
