Check in and check out was easy. I reserved a dolly and blankets, but when I arrived they were not available and I had to drive back home to get some blankets from home. I have not received a receipt, but the pending charge on my credit card are almost double what I calculate the charges to be. How do I get a receipt with the breakdown of charges?Jennifer K.

This was the worst experience I've ever had and I will not be using UHaul or recommending UHaul, on the contrary I will advise not to use UHaul and avoid using their services. I booked a UHaul truck in advance to move into a new unit. Upon coming to pick up the UHaul the "pick up my truck" option was not available. I called the customer service number to find out how to do the mobile pick up. The representative told me that my truck was not returned from the previous user and after half an hour talking to the same representative that could not find me a new truck, I was directed to the manager. After another 45 mins I was directed to another location to pick up a smaller truck. This truck was too small for my belongings and the time delay caused me 2 hours of a delay on my moving. The situation made all other arrangements to fail and caused my entire move to be corrupted. This was the worst experience. My order number was Order #24444982.Julia C.
Truck was very dusty inside and clearly not disinfected before given to us. We had ordered a furniture dolly online, when picking up the truck we were told this location did not have any furniture dollies. The charge was refunded but we had to spend an extra hour of our time tracking down a furniture dolly (ended up purchasing one at a store) in order to complete our move. Why were we allowed to book a dolly when none were available??Carl M. S.

Was told they were open until 8 PM & we rushed to get there to get credit for blankets but they were closed and I got an email the next day with $1 charge? There was also the last minute change in pick up location. I have another move at end of April and seriously considering not calling U-Haul.Andrew H.
The truck was disgusting when I picked it up. The floor was covered in dry mud and garbage. The truck had obviously had not been cleaned or disinfected in who knows how many rentals. It goes to show that uhaul doesn't take COVID-19 serious or the health of their customersBianca C.
I brought back the dolly that I borrowed and was told to leave it in the truck and put the keys in the keybox past 4pm. I returned to the uhaul location prior to 4 so I personally handed the keys and returned the dolly at the front office. Front desk didn't ask or say anything besides that I'd receive an email with my receipt and that's all. I was later surprised with an incorrect bill stating a missing dolly? I will be calling in to reverse these charges but the front rep could have at least confirmed the dolly was there when I returned the keys or keep an end day count of all dolly instead.Paul Rafael B.
When I arrived at the store 30 mins before the pick-up time, the store was closed without any message at the door and nobody was answering the phone. The staff showed up 30 mins after, but there was no apology or explanation. The cargo van I was got was in the worst possible condition; It smelled bad and there were wet stains, which I don't know what. When I asked the staff whether the vehicle was sanitized, he said yes, but there is no way that even the basic cleaning was done. Absolutely horrible experience.Jun Suk L.

The van itself, though clean on the inside, hadn't had the snow cleared off in, I would guess, at least a week, and there was no snow brush provided with the vehicle. I was able to grab the one out of my own car, but I would ask that you remind your franchisees to clear the windshield of any vehicle that's going out for rent that day. The real challenge was in the pick up, and more importantly drop off, of the vehicle. I received an email from Uhaul telling me that I would be able to access the vehicle remotely. When I arrived at the location there was no remote access option and a sign at the location provided pick up and drop off instructions. I then received. a text from Uhaul while I was driving, which I missed because my phone was off because I was driving, giving me different drop off instructions from both what was in the email and what was posted at the location itself. All this is to say, better communication between Uhaul and myself, and Uhaul and its franchisees, would have made life easier.Graeme M.

Person in the front desk didn't even care where i left the truck ( as i parked off the assigned parkings spots) - i communicated this to him but he didn't even look at me. i asked about receipt and other concerns and he said ahead will send final receipt. First of all the pick up location was changed less than 24 hours and I had to adjust my busy moving day schedule to go further from my home to pick up the truck. Then while I was on my way to this location (further away) I received a call from your associate to tell me the truck is no longer available and I have drive across the city to pick up the truck. I find this planning and scheduling on behalf of u haul very poor. I ordered the truck 4 weeks in advance!Semyon C.

I was booked for 24/7 tfuck share option. When i arrived the location try to pickup through online but it is not ready. I waited until the person open the shop after that i was spend another 30 minutes to pickup tge truck. During paper work i said to the person insurance no need but after drop off they charge $15.00. The rental company could explain the return rules, as it was the first time I used this service. This could improve the service with more attention and explanation to customers. I have already raised a ticket on this issue, the shop was closed, didnt get any information, oncd called up helpdesk, i was helped with the self checkout (she was really great), along with this miscommunication, i have booked dollies, which i never received which made my move very problematic and a very bad experience with uhaul, i have also been charged for these dollies which is another problemSubhrajit B.

First , the teller was an asshole. Thats first off. Very rude and lackadaisical. Also, i was suppose to be able to drop off my vehicle to any location to save miles i would have to pay for. I moved to aurora from Toronto and had to spend miles bringing the truck back to that same location from aurora? I got charged for a dolly and we never even had a dolly in the damn truck. I paid almost $200 for uhaul? More like UTheft. I would like for a reevaluation and some of this money returned to me. Espcially for having to drive the truck alllllllll the way back to toronto from aurora. Thats crazy. I shouldve been able to drop the keys off in aurora. Thats a damn expensive day of moving. I will never recommend this loaction to anybody.Timothy G.

They tried to charge me $20 dollars to help me with the hookup that has never ever happened at any uhaul. The young guy did not seem to know or care about what he was doing. Finally the harness on the trailer was no good and it shorted out and blow the fuses in my truck.Maiko I.
I booked the truck for 10 am with a dozen blanket ,I got there on time but I was told the blanket're gone. I had paid for truck and blanket If I knew that blanket're not available I would have chosen an other location.By the way,I was in a rush because I had paid for 2 movers for 2 hours but the Uhaul staff was too lazy.I won't recommend this location at all.Amirabbas R.

The sign on the door said to drop off the keys and keep the vehicle locked, but I only had a trailer so I had no keys to drop off and nothing to lock. I had no clue what to do, so I just dropped the trailer off and took photos to prove that I dropped it off.Stacey P.

The morning I went to pick up the 10' truck that I reserved ahead, I was told that the truck is not available. They gave me a 9' van instead. There was no communication or notification at all. This has brought me so much trouble. My furnitures couldn't fit in all at once as planned, so I had to book and pay extra time for the movers and Elevator time for both condo buildings as well. When I called customer service they told me there's nothing they can do to help which is very frustrating. I won't trust Uhaul again definitely wouldn't recommend.Jia Bao L.
U-Haul should drop Aucomm as a supplier. The truck was filthy and had a used mask and a bunch of papers left behind, it was clearly not cleaned before I got the truck. The representative at Aucomm was too lazy to do an inspection of the truck when he gave me the keys. When I got the bill, I found out that Aucomm charged me $50 to clean the mess that was already in the truck when I got it. These are horrible business people and tarnish the reputation of U-Haul. I'm still waiting on U-Haul to make this right by refunding me the cleaning fee.Benjamin M.

The main attendant is rude and unprofessional. He gives wrong information about rental process and is not trust worthy. The truck I rented needs a serious attention to the steering system. The vehicle pulls to the left, when driving, and needs a lot of experience to keep it straight on the road. I have rented uhaul trucks in Ohio, Quebec and Ontario and 100 Steeles Avenue location is the only place I had such a bitter experience. I love uhaul, but would never ever rent and pick up any truck from this location even if that is the only location they are available.Christian T.

Most unprofessional U-Haul rent location I have ever seen in my life. I booked the 9ft cargo van but after I receive I found that van doesn't have tire pressure and it took another 45 minutes to fix that. The van was also very dirty, never cleaned or sanitized. In passenger side door I found food packet left. In this covid situation this is most expected. They charged my for Gas which is also extra even after I fill up the gas with required level. I have total horrible experience and will not recommend to any one.Bodhisattva P.

I got into the truck to find donut wrappers and coffee cup lids on the floor. I went on my way, used the van to move a few boxes and returned it in same condition I found it in. The person working that day charged my account a $25 cleaning fee because I left a "paper on the floor" and the back door was "dirty". Absolutely terrible service, the van itself was fine and I got the job done but I felt like I was treated like garbage.Ismael V.
