The truck was great, the cleanliness was good. However, the furniture trolley we booked and was "guaranteed" when booking the truck and equipment was not available. This really made the move more challenging. I don't know if this is a location issue, but I know I paid for two trolleys and I only used one...

When I drove away, the trailer hitch had not been fastened, despite the insistence of the employee. It came off in the parking lot. We had to run back and get him to show us how to fasten it. This was unacceptable and very stressful. Other than that okay and unremarkable.

I video tapped the entire truck, it was filthy and contained lots of garbage from previous renter but the branch operator refused to clean it and he was bring it back like this we dont care nor we charge extra for cleaning

Truck I reserved well in advance not available Had to drive into toronto traffic to pick up Had to make two trips due to wrong size truck (round trip 200k) Was told I had truck for three days. Third day received several calls asking for truck Had to return truck back into city as one way no longer an option with the truck I was given (7 hour turn around trip) More than likely will never rent another truck from uhaul. Too bad as I have used you several times in the past. Total trip cost me approx $80 more than it should due to high mileage (gas).

Use another service such as Discount or Enterprise. Not clear on what I was charged for, kids at the counter. No safety check done on the vehicle. I was given a truck that was later discovered to have a crack (leak) on the side wall of the rear tire, which is dangerous, unsafe and would cost me more gas because of it. Believe I was over-charged. Send the next customer somewhere else.

firstly, I was told by numerous employes that a king size mattress would fit in a 10' truck. No way. The interior of the truck was quite dirty, I had to sweep it out before loading. I have a dz license, drive trucks often, this one was in rough shape. The steering especially was very sketchy.

I rented a 9' moving van from this location using the self serve method on my mobile device. I received the lock code to retrieve the keys. But there were no keys inside. I contacted the shop owner and was able to get access to another lockbox for a key to another 9' moving van. But my rental was for the previous van. I was told by owner that it is OK to take the other van and so I video recorded the van before I rented it out. I sent the odometer and video to the owner. I rented the van for 3 hours and used less than 10km. I returned it the same day. I was then billed an invoice that said I returned it the next day and had extra km driven, that I was not responsible for. I contacted the owner to resolve but no answer. I was then billed for the original van that I did not rent and I did not get the keys for. Now I am writing this review because I deserve a refund. I will contact my credit card company for a dispute. U-Haul needs to do a better job with customer service, at this location.

I used the mobile self-service pickup which was super inconvenient. There was supposed to be an appliance dolly in the van that wasn't there. Then you guys charged me for the dolly and when I called back your customer service team was absolutely clueless and didn't know how to rectify the situation. The rep told me that in 3 business days you guys could send out a generic email with contact details??? So what was the point of calling in the first place just to get another generic email 3 days later with u-haul's contact info?? Unreliable service combined with very poor customer service; very bad experience.

Location very hard to find as there are no clear markings. Ended up driving past location twice before pulling into random parking lot in area and seeing trucks tucked far behind a building; mostly pure dumb luck found the place. Parking lot was very hard to maneuver a large truck/trailer due to tight narrow turns and limited visibility.

The van came dirty. Also there is no power button to adjust mirrors ,had to adjust mirrors manually by hand. Except that ,I got the van at time and everything was ok.

I have no problem with the rental site, they were very good and helpful, itself but I had issues with my reservation. I tried doing self-service pickup and it told me that equipment was not available for me. When I called to ask about it, the person said that online reservations aren't guaranteed and that someone was supposed to call and confirm with me that equipment would be available. Nothing in any part of the online reservation, account order review or email I received mentioned this at all. The email in fact said that I was scheduled to pick up my truck at the location and I could immediately start my self-service rental when I got there. The place opened half an hour later and they were able to get me a truck, but the I was half an hour late overall. If I was not guaranteed a truck this needs to be explicitly stated more clearly or anywhere rather. Had the location been unable to provide a truck upon opening the financial cost for me not being able to move would have been significant.
