We reserved for another location and were not notified of the change. I was charged twice - once on line but the location insisted on charging me again. I even showed them the online charge but that didn't seem to matter. The location wad completely unhelpful nor didn't sein to care. I use u haul one or twice a year - this was my worst experience ever. H

You changed my pick up location. You didn't give me any notice. It was one hour away from home. And your client attentions was very rude. Horrible experience!!!

The set up to return the truck in one address and again the address changed, but at least somebody called me in the morning to say that I should return the truck in another place. When something like this occur, please try to give some benefits to the client, otherwise they will not use U-haul again.

It says there would be an assistant to help with pick up, but it is a self-pickup. I've asked for a Dolly and it wasn't in the truck.

Both locations were great but the booking process was horrendous. Our truck was rescheduled 4 times without any communication. Each step we were told it was "confirmed" but then we would receive and email suggesting it had changed again to 12 hours later that no longer worked since we had booked people to assist with the move. This required us to call again and essentially start over with the whole process. I will be telling people about this experience.

There were papers from the previous renter. Not cleaned in the drivers area at all. Papers and cardboard on window shelf and on floor. I did not touch as I had no idea what they were for.

The car was full of dog hair. and the seats were dirty. At the end I was charged an extra 25 cleaning fee. I will not recommend this location and will be putting a google review on the place

I think they charged me too much. I didnt excpect to be charged about 80 $ because my total mileage was about 45 km and I filled the van up.

I dropped off the truck on Sunday after the store location was closed. I received an email with my truck rental receipt and discovered that I was charged with about $9 gas because the store location noted that the gas indicator was not 3/4 full. I took the picture of the dashboard and the mileage returned in was 15735 and the picture clearly says 3/4 gas full. I emailed 848004_AFM@uhaul.com to file a complained and has not responded back. 416-801-4094 contract 22782373

I refilled the truck to a point higher on the gauge than when I picked up the truck and they still charged me $21.51 for gas. Typical rip-off manoeuvre. Will this posting get me my money back or should I post the story on social media? The guy in the office that morning was not friendly, he needs to learn what customer service is, and they need to give me back my $21.51. Definitely would never use Aucomm again.

Call from reservations the day before indicating size reserved (10 ft) not available ...would have to pick up at a location 30 miles away. Told them no thanks and to cancel. .. then they miraculously found a van closer by (said would give us the bigger size 15ft at same cost). Showed up next morning and the location had the bigger van but reservation was 4X the cost. Told them No. Took half hour waiting on line to straiten things out. gas guage showed a little more than 1/4 full at departure (took video and pics with phone) Used the van for the day (total approx 40 Miles put on). Filled up past mark that started with. Next day received invoice for $32 indicating I didnt fill it bak up. Called Uhaul customer service and receiverd a very rude response from 'Sophie' . ASked her if I could speak to manager...she said there wasn't one at the call centre. . .asked her if her and other employees were alone without a senior person...she said yes. . and then hung up. Will NEVER use Uhaul again (I have 4 kids approaching college years) and will go out of my way telling friends and colleagues NOT to use this company. Charging extra for gas like this is tantamount to a scam!!!

Hot day with no air conditioning. Opened a few minutes late. But staff was helpful. Rented truck had dirty cab; sticky spilled con jelled pop in cup holders that got all over my stuff. Rental truck pulled to the right; needed constant adjustments while driving from Toronto to Ottawa. Extremely noisy vehicle.

The U-Haul app is awful, it may have cost you my business. Fix it, and I will use U-Haul 24/7 again. Other than that, the experience was ok.

They were unable to provide the dolly that I booked and offered me the more expensive one which is usually used for appliances transportation. I couldn't use the dolly that they've provided because I needed dolly for small moving boxes and appliances dolly can't be used for that due to its size. I was never offered price reduction from them or refund for this dolly.

The truck's transmission kept slipping. My disabled daughter and I were put at risk with bad equipment. I tried contacting the location Monday during business hours while on the road but they did not answer. They also listed the wrong drop off location on the contract. I found out when I called to verify the ordered storage unit. They didn't have that reserved either. I ended up spending an extra day on the road. I filed a formal complaint.

Cargo van had accumulated water that smelled like urine. But it was for one day for a couple of short runs so it was not a big deal. Overall experience, and service was excellent.

Do alignments on the trucks, at least semi-annually or annually. It was also a hard location to find and google maps has you on the other side of the shopping complex. The signs out front are small and hard to see amongst the others (more of a landlord/zoning issue perhaps) and when I called numerous times to the number on all email/website correspondence, nobody picked up.
