I returned the truck at 1pm and the office was closed. The sign says open but no one was inside. The truck cabin was very dirty.

ON the website wan't mentioned that there is deposit needed upon arrival before we get the truck. deposit also should be paid by credit card only, that make it absolutely inconvenient. Also I wan't informed that location we need to pick up truck and I had to call and find out by myself. customer service is very poor.

There was a problem with the online order: I reserved to pick up the truck at a different location, but during confirmation, I was not told that the location had changed to this location which made the pickup troublesome as I had to navigate through the city to the correct site. However, I don't know if this was an error on this location, or on the online system in general.

Only issue was the truck stalled and the oil light came on. Was told it was due for maintenance soon

Booking the uhaul online was not a great experience. The vehicle we booked, location and price all contradicted themselves when checking in online. It took three further calls to rectify the issues. The truck was not clean but tolerable however the oil level was below minimum and I had to ask to have it topped up. Overall uhaul served it's purpose but if I were a location manager I would realize that there is much competition out there and would attempt to have my vehicles in better shape. We are moving our second apartment in January and I suspect we will look at the competitors before deciding. Sincerely

Rated average just because I didn't actually go into the store, we went after hours. Again, we had issues with the 24/7 pickup and had to call the customer service number for help. The lady we spoke to was very helpful and courteous.

When they pick up the van and tell you they will return it through drop off after hours, let them know there's a rather long procedure for online checking in...We were not prepared for all the details and photographs that were requested

I appreciated being given the opportunity to return the vehicle anytime I wanted. From that perspective customer service was great. However, the driver's area interior was smelling of vomit. I am assuming the previous user may have thrown up in there. It would have been great if the someone checked it out first before renting it out. Thanks.

After pick up, please check your email for instruction on key drop off. We were busy moving and then dropped key off and found that we were supposed to follow some steps on key drop off. Too late. Key already in box.

The opposite of this: Ordered a 15ft truck, received a 10 ft truck. Order was then cancelled without my knowledge. The pick-up location did not have good network service coverage which made the self check-in almost impossible. Took 30 minutes to contact a rep and they could not help. Will be going on social media to share my horrible experience and will never and strongly recommend others to avoid Uhaul.

Careful when you choose the size of the rental truck, unlike other rental companies, UHAUL doesn’t care if you’ve made a mistake in truck sizes. Even if you call back letting them know of your own error and if it is possible to exchange (got hung up on the first time) as well as get transferred back and forth from one phone call to another for 2 hours trying to resolve the issue. Got charged for wasting my time even after driving back & forth trying to return/exchange vehicles. PLUS got charged for extra miles & gas even though the truck went from the company to my home, back to the company. Went to Discount car and truck rentals & they were more than helpful and they didn’t even charge for going over the one day (24hr) period. This was the email I got back in reply to my claim as well, rude. “Dear — — . My apologies for your error in reserving equipment to small for your needs ,Uhaul does not reimburse or refund once equipment has been dispatched. Thank You Bill Abram AFM Uhaul of Ontario” Never again.

They are charging me with a damage fee of $150 when during our entire travel the vehicle was not scratched nor was it bumped or was involve in an accident. The personnel did not come with us to check the vehicle prior to giving me the keys and now they are saying it was damaged. So frustrating

The truck was relatively clean with the exception of some drink bottles still in the front and things a little sticky in the vicinity. Otherwise the self check out and check in worked great at this location.

On returning the truck to the location, the only issue we had was removing the key from the ignition. For some reason it wouldn't come out and we spent at least half an hour trying to remove it and by some luck it managed to come out. Please check our truck so that future customers don't face the same issue. Thanks.
