I had to load the trailer by myself. One of the tires was flat upon picking up the trailer and I waited 8 hours for uhaul roadside to come fix my flat tire.

I got to the pickup location on Wednesday at 8 AM , but no one got there until 8:20 AM. After getting the trailer hooked up, I asked how to use the strapes and Chains. I received a very quick overview of how to use strapes and chains. When I got to location to pickup my vehicle, I figured out how to use the chains, but it took me over an hour to figure out how to use the Strapes. The equipment to tighten the strapes were rusted and needed repaired or replaced, so I couldn't pull the strapes tight. Luckily the chains held the car in place, but I was nervous all the home. I returned the equipment the next morning, but again no on e was there at the return location (which was the pickup location) until after 8:30 AM and I had trouble getting the trailer off my truck. I called the corporate phone number to get help and finally the person I rented the trailer showed up. I was 45 minutes late to an appointment on a consulting job. I don't know if I will ever rent from uhaul again, because the equipment isn't very well maintained and seemed unsafe. I will never rent from the Aurora location where I picked up the equipment.

Doubled book truck so i had to take a 26 footer instead of the 15'. I am sure it used more gas, but they did give it to me for the 15' price... but i didn't need that big of truck. Waited in line 15 minutes when i arrived. Then waited another 15 minutes to find out i couldnt have the truck i ordered. Then i had to go to another location, which was back in the direction i came from. Where i had to wait again for another customer who was renting a van. All the while paying 4 guys for having to wait one hour and 20 minutes. Because i was late, two men didn't have time to follow me back to unload, had to wait until late and paid $10 to a neighbor to help. I was told the insurance was $14.00 a day. I only had the truck ONE day, yet i see i am charged two days insurance. $29.95 + $55.44 + $14.00 + 1.00 = $100.49 How does the rental tax on $29.95 come to $8.01? This is a scam and i was majorly inconvenienced and had to pay help for standing around waiting. When i received a email this morning telling that i did not return the truck, i was livid. I called customer service and told them everything. I was told that i would hear back within 48 hours to make things right. I do not blame the local business for the error but i shouldn't have to pay for the errors either. The young lady i spoke to this morning was kind, though i was angry. I will wait a little longer to see what the U-haul company is going to do to compensate me for all the trouble. Respectfully, Richard A Hays

I was sent to this location after the first location had sub standard equipment with out safety equipment installed. The staff was a pleasant young man but U-Haul needs to inspect and maintain there equipment better.

Well the box leaked water inside truck and there is no credit for bringing it back with more gas than suppose to be. The pressure system was not working right also. I spend 300 dollars on the truck and gas for a leaking box

I will not recommend Uhaul to a friend and I will never rent from Uhaul again. The contract was changed the day before pickup, meaning a new location. The day of pickup, the hour was changed to an hour later than scheduled (we had scheduled for 7am; it was changed to 8am). We were told we would receive a code to get a key at the pickup site, We never received the code, not that it would have mattered because the key to the truck was hanging on the wall behind the counter, not available with the code. The location opened at 8:30.

The clerk was polite & friendly. He explained that the truck had just been used and because of all the rain, the floors were muddy. The truck also smelled like someone was smoking. It drove very rough and there was actually a tenth of a mile more on the truck when we picked it up than what showed on the paper work, i even showed a photo. I know that it was only $0.08, but it is the principal of the thing.

I have rented a U-Haul 3 out of the last 4 weekends. Two of those 3 time there were significant mistakes made. The second time we rented the truck was covered in sticky pop and greasy finger prints. The gas level in the truck didn't match what the computer showed, and the miles were also off by about 60. When my husband went to pick the truck up Stephanie said the reservation was done incorrectly, so she canceled it and did it all over. In fact it had been done correctly and had to be redone back to the the right way by the cashier when we returned it. Today things were so messed up with our charges that we have to call back Monday to get them figured out. I still have 2 more reservations coming up, and I really hope we get someone who is familiar with the process, so we don't have to waste more time straightening out errors.

The vehicle i rented wasn't returned properly by the last person and clerk, so i had to wait at the desk while the clerk on duty tried to mess with the computer system to allow me to check out the truck. It's irratating that the person who turned the truck in before didn't follow the procedure so it took 30 minutes for me to get my truck even though i used the prepay and online check in to speed up the process. People should be trained to run the rental program or they shouldn't be involved at all. I felt bad for the clerk trying to get the truck for me as he was just as inconvenienced as i was by the last careless clerk.

We have reserved and rented online the past 2 weekends from 2 local pick up locations. Both Kinnet Truck Stop and Aurora Farm and Garden were fantastic and made the process very easy and convenient. The online reservation is super fast and went very smoothly. I would recommend this process to anyone!

just a miscommunication with keeping the truck extra days ( I called and it was ok)..then they tried to charge a whole week due to they had it rented..i said why have it rented when you knew I was renting it ? so with uhauls phone service and them, it was back to Original deal...no hard feelings, the guys were awesome and super nice..i would go there again..just someone let the ball slip and it was straightened out. thanks, Charlie hall

The manager was not there when we arrived to pick up the truck, therefore we had to wait for him to return. Why do we make an appointment to pick up the truck if we cannot pick it up. That made us extremely late for the appointment with our customer to pick up the picture frame from them. Also, when making the reservation by phone, we were not informed about all the extra charges! Therefore, I quoted the wrong price to my customer, of course. Very misleading! We rented a 20' truck, which we understood that it mean we would have room to put a 19' long picture in the truck - not true as there is only 20' above the cab. Again, misleading. I explained what I needed when making the reservation, they should have told me I would need a larger truck. I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone!

Don't make the customer wait 20 minutes to turn the truck in because you are late opening the store. make sure the customer gets the pickup and drop off location they want.

Aurora was great and the people were great. They were very helpful and got me on my way quickly. I guess the remote location is not their fault but I had to drive 40 minutes to get the truck.

Your owners would greatly benefit from a customer service class. Aggressive behavior towards a customer is never acceptable, especially when the communication error was on the merchant end. I will never rent a Uhaul again, simply because of the abominable way I was treated.

on your 6 x 12 Trailers, really need a crank down/up wheel, on the tongue. is very heavy and while the location provided a strong Young Man, to assist, I needed to use a floor jack, once I got to my destination, to unhook the trailer. Tnx
