The person working acted as if he had no clue I was even supposed to pick the truck up. I showed up at 12:10 for my 12:15 appointment, so it's not like I was extremely off time. It took nearly 30 minutes for him to print my paperwork to sign. I left to go get gas in the truck, and at the time I was getting gas, I noticed the drivers door did not close all the way. It latched so I was not super concerned about safety, but it literally had about a one inch gap between the door and the door frame. I called the Auto Care Center to tell them, and they asked, â€œWell did you try slamming it real good?â€ I said of course. They offered no solution except to use the 26' truck, when I originally rented a 10'. And they only offered that upon me asking for another truck.Noah W.

The owner put in the time that i paid 12:30 not the time I requested to pick up at 4:15 which would have given me time to do the move that I needed and return by 4:00 so when we returned at 1:30 we were charged an additional amount for being late.Michael F.

I used the online service to drop off my vehicle and made a mistake (somehow) putting that the vehicle was empty. The truth is I dropped it off full and made an honest mistake by putting empty and not taking a picture of the gas tank. Still not sure how that happened but it did. At first U-haul was looking to charge me $240 for an empty tank. Thankfully I was contacted my Alex Onkst (the area field manager) and he was extremely helpful- polite, understanding, and very responsive. He was able to help prove that I did in fact fill it up and helped me get a reimbursement for the $240. Thank you Alex, I will return as a U-haul customer becasue of your assistance in this matter and your overall professionalism! P.S. If you complete the app pick up/ drop off process be sure to CAREFULLY complete the drop off portion so you don't have any issues.McKenna B.

This was a bad experience overall. First of all, the rental truck was not clean. There was trash in the floorboard and also on the console. Next, it had mechanical issues. The air conditioner did not work and the check engine light came on. It was very difficult trying to move furniture in a hot truck.Diana A.

The truck has started giving us problems with the transmission about half way through. Had to pull over several times because it was bucking so bad it felt like whiplash. It would rev the RPMs into the red and would not shift gears up or down no matter if you tried to speed up or slow down and would SLAM into gear miles down the road. The windshield wipers were shredded when we got into the thunderstorm we had to pull over because we couldn't see on several occasions. We made it home nearly 8 hours past the scheduled time of arrival we couldn't unload the truck we both had to be to work the next day which was also my daughters bday so it got postponed. I called to talk to a rep about the issues who told me they were going to charge me an extra $80 to hold the truck and return it later.MAGGY S.

Well the online profile appeared that this location had everything, trailer hitch etc. I had to go to walmart to pick up a trailer hitch. However the service guy was exceptional. Just wish I knew that the location didn't have boxes, blankets, two wheelers, etc.eric P.

I tried two different trailers. The box that I needed to load was 5 ft 10 inches across. Neither trailer was big enough to use. I returned the trailer without even using it and was unfairly charged.James B.
I would not recommend ANY Uhaul business as a first option and would only use them in the future as a last resort. Your "reservation system" is pathetic - your rules are confusing - and the people do not even know YOUR rules. I would rather sell items online before a move and buy new as it is not a good experience with the customer in mind. To expect a customer to be prepared to pick their vehicle up at any location within 50 miles is comical.Amy G.

I tried calling them a few days before and nobody picked up their phone so I showed up in person and talked to them face to face and that was perfectly fine. They really need to look over the inside of their units. The one I got had was clearly lived in, full of garbage and I had to spend 2 hours cleaning it out. And the staff was rude and almost seemed to purposely give me this trailer.James S.

I dropped off on Sunday and they were closed. There were no signs to direct exactly where to leave the trailor. I just left it in tall grass for convenience. Overall the experience was good.Steve D.
