I did not receive notification that this location would be closed on the day of pick-up. I spent approximately 45 minutes on the phone with U-Haul trying to convert my reservation to a Truck Share pick-up because my reservation was over the counter only. Pick up was an utter nightmare.Courtney M.

Uhaul should not advertise trucks are available for rent at a particular location and then switch the pickup location to a completely different location which is an HOUR away from my original pickup location. I reserved a 26 ft truckâ€¦was told day before my move that they had none even after looking over 100 milesâ€¦was offered a 10 ft truckâ€¦they finally found a 20 foot truck over an hour away that I had to take out of desperation. Now I have to make at least one additional trip over 750 miles each way to get my remaining belongings that would have fit in truck I reserved. Truck was dirty. The wait times on the 800 numbers were extensive and on at least two occasions it hung up on me after the wait. One time when I got through, the person couldn't hear me. I am beyond frustrated, wife upset. Horrible experience.David N.

Awful pick up experience. Uhaul changed my pickup location and did not change the address on the account. Only indication I had was a voicemail requesting a callback the day before to discuss pick up. That's it. No indication that the pickup location was going to be changed. Everyone knows how hectic moving can be, especially the day before the move. Because of the change, I lost an hour of my move in time at my new place not to mention the additional gas I paid to get to and from the pick up location with my person car. This is the first time I used uhaul, and it will be my last.Rajesh S.

When your customer narrowly escapes being killed while using your equipment, it may be advisable to NOT call them the next day to tell them you are charging them a deductible. Additionally, when you use the word "Guarantee " in regards to your reservations, it would be helpful if you understood the word. It has a very specific meaning. Its not case-sensitive.Joseph B.

Truck should have more than 1/8 of a tank of gas. Rental vehicle should be what the customer requested. Brakes, air pressure in tires in all fluids should be checked.robert S.

Thankfully, there was a person at the location. i had rented the vehicle using the Uhaul 24/7 App, but it did not work. If I had tried to pick up the vehicle with the place closed, I would not have been successful. Fix the system please.David J.

They said because they didn't have the 10 footer I wanted they would substitute with the 15 footer for the same price as the 10 footer truck for $19.95 When the Bill Came i was Charged Regular Price of $29.95. When I called up to address the issue I was told theirs nothing they could do about the price difference, and to call cooperate, Which I did. I was advised that someone would get back to me in 3-5 business days regarding my refund amount for the difference. This has been a Very Bad Experience for me. On a Scale of 1-10 I Would have to give a 4 Rating.Cheyann D.

I had a reservation for a 15' truck and was called 5 minutes prior to my reservation pickup time and told the 15' truck was not available. This caused me to reserve a 10' truck at another location. Also causing me extra trips with a smaller truck. Therefore I don't think my mileage fees for extra miles should be charged to me.Henry B.

The man that sots behind the first fesk as you walk in the door was extremely nasty. He was pissed off as the hitch was mot onthe right ball and the pull in wasnt attached. He was ranting about how it was cold and raining out. Stated if i had the hitch inspected in Maine ther should hace had it all ready to go. I have never had such poor custlmer servicd ot had een treated so poorly. He shoukd not be working with customeers. I was crying by time we left the facility. Then they put he hictch on the smallest ball, which it poop off hitch while driving. We could have been kiiled. Wouldn't recommend any rent from this uhaul rental place, as the giy has anger issues. The location was good, but they did not have the furniture dolly that was offered online, nor any moving pads that I ordered online. This made my move more difficult than it had to be! Make sure your partners have the equipment offered online! I blame U=Haul, and not the p/u location.Evan M.
the truck I reserved was not available and the hand truck (dolly) I reserved was also not there so I had to take a smaller truck and load without the aid of a dolly which resulted in extreme back pains and additional miles logged onto the vehicle. The truck had a list of missing and damaged parts including driver sun visor, passenger rear viewing mirror was quite mis-aligned, back of truck was extremely dirty and not broom swept, the interior looked like it had never been cleaned, it was not well maintained at all and once the truck was loaded, would not go faster than 45 mph.. dealer was great, equipment was a no star..carol C.
