Great customer service
JOSEPH FThe initial cashier told me I couldn’t bring the truck back after work hours. I had left the store for a moment and didn’t find the original cashier, so I asked the next available person there. That second person told me I can bring it back outside of work hours and drop off the key and I needed to park on a specific street. I found additional parking on a different street as I didn’t want to block in the back parking lot in case someone else needed to enter it. There isn’t much available parking for such a large truck near this location in Hollywood, so the location isn’t the most efficient one to rent from. They closed at 3pm on a sunday which isn’t helpful for those who need to return the trucks. I wasn’t unable to return the truck when they opened at 9am because I work at 9am. The next morning, the owner texted me asking where the truck was. I called to communicate more efficiently as I was driving to work. He was being belligerent on the phone saying that I shouldn’t have return it outside of work hours, when there was no clear writing of that in uhaul policy, and his colleague mentioned it would be fine. Customer service is terrible, not clear communication, and no efficient way to return the truck.

IAN OThe crew here was quite rude. The guy we initially met with a beard came in a little hot with attitude demanding my ID, but was easily if fused by being overly nice to him. He informed me that parking my vehicle in the rear of the building was okay, and I assumed dropping the truck off there later was acceptable as there was zero street parking. I was wrong. Another tall bald gentleman came out back when I just parked and blew his stack, talking to me like I was an idiot and having a little temper tantrum instead of explaining this was not where I was supposed to park. Maybe explain nicely this is the incorrect location, vehicles can be towed from here instead of huffing and puffing making certain we never use that location again. Even my wife asked what the hell was going on. I didn’t raise my voice and tried to diffuse the situation, but he just seemed so easily triggered and grumpy when the simple solution was to return the truck. I wouldn’t be surprised if I get some weird extra fees from this location because if him. He gives off that vibe. I won’t be returning here again but will be using U-Haul again. He needs to relax.

BEN GNot a very friendly location. I selected Mobile Pick-Up specifically so I could get the truck independently, but I still had to deal with the staff in person, and I wasn’t able to pick up the vehicle on my own as promised. Also, when I made the reservation, I booked the truck for 7 PM and planned to return it around 8 PM. However, this location closed at 3 PM that day, so I was forced to keep the truck overnight and return it the next morning at 9 AM, which was extremely inconvenient. On top of that, based on my photos of the odometer, I was overcharged for 2 extra miles — the mileage recorded on my receipt does not match the actual numbers. Overall, the experience was frustrating, and I expected more accuracy and transparency from this location.

TIM FThere was a mechanical issue with the rolling door in the back. The metal piece that the door good on was corroded and broke off. Therefore the door would not remain close. The uhaul contractor did not have an additional truck to offer to replace this truck nor did they offer a discount. The truck was essentially inoperable due to the door remaining open. We had to return the truck early. The guy did say he was sorry.

DAVID CI already called, the office smelled terrible like cigarette smoke, the vehicle was DISGUSTING, smelled awful, the door lock fell out, the vehicle was a 2009 Ford with over 163,000 miles. It needs to be taken out of commission. Please contact me I would like to discuss a refund

My rental is still showing as active even though the equipment was returned to the manager directly, and I am concerned he will attempt to add additional charges. The equipment itself was well maintained and in good condition, although I never had the chance to attest to the vehicle’s condition upon return/

Robert GConvenient location and friendly staff. Had to wait a little after my reservation pickup time for a van to be returned. Since the previous renter was late returning there was no time for equipment to be cleaned. The back cargo area needed a sweeping and smelled a little funny ... But I was just happy to get a cargo van so informed the desk of this before leaving and just kept the windows down for part of the drive to air it out. Easy check out.
