The pickup location was changed two days before the reservation when I had no other options. I changed our plans and drove 1.5 hours to pick up the truck. The cell signal was weak at the new location making it difficult to use the U-Haul App which was the only way to contact customer service to let them know the key was not in the lock box as promised. An employee did drive right out to get us the key but then was upset that I used the U-Haul App rather than call him directly. I had no idea what to do when the key wasn't in the lock box and felt that using the customer service chat was a reasonable next step. In total, the experience turned my son's graduation day into a hurried rushed mess.
