I couldn’t pick up the vehicle without using the app, couldn’t download the app because there was no cell service or wifi in the rural area, got a service agent on the phone to complete the pick up; the code I was given for the lockbox didn’t work, finally I was given the managers code which worked, got in the truck and the gas tank was empty… and I was told to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas in it…
Michael FThe online booking system is overall the worst I have ever experienced. The pick up service is horrible-there was no one at the location, the lock box was locked and I didn’t have any email/text for a code, then we were directed to another location only to find the same situation and then sent back to our first location what a waste of gas driving from town to town and being over 2.5hrs late for pick up of a truck, at the first location the local has to be grinded off for us to get the keys. This truck needs a sever wheel alignment. While talking to Chris about everything he informed use to keep our gas receipts and have lunch on him and also to keep the receipt. We are yet to hear back from him to get reimbursed for all the trouble we have encountered. This was the first and probably very last time I will ever book a uhaul it was very frustrating, difficult, and expensive overall horrible set up for sure.
Daniel HI was told that we would be using a box to get the key so I did not rush to get there. I got a phone call from a rather irritated man because he had been waiting for us. I don't blame him but out of guilt I paid him for the time he waited (he did NOT ask). The communication should have been better.
Leonard MDo not overbook units/ equipment as we had to drive out of town to get the van ( not even the one we wanted). As well as better communication to client(s) as we were not informed of switching locations.
