The trailer was very dirty on the inside when we received it, as well as the lower latch for the door being broken. The dirt in the trailer got the couch we were buying and transporting super dirty. When I tried to report it as dirty in the return process it tried to charge me a fee for cleaning, I did not make the mess. I'm not paying for it. And now I have to scrub my brand new couch cushions. I have never had an issue with Uhaul like this before. I have a photo of the broken latch as well. It was broken when we received it and I didn't catch it until we were at the location to pick up the couch as I relied on the associate to verify that the trailer was in functioning condition.

William LWe showed up to drop the U-Haul off and it’s a storage unit that has a gate and you need a code. There was a phone number on the rental agreement, but no one would answer the phone. We wound up waiting for 45 minutes until another person showed up and let us in the gate. I called U-Haul customer service to try to get help in the wait time was 45 minutes. We also called another local U-Haul and they couldn’t help us. Once we got into the facility, there were no good places to even park our 26 foot U-Haul. This was a very disappointing return experience after spending a great deal of money. Especially because we rented a U-Haul two weeks ago and the return was very easy. You need to stop using this location if they’re not gonna answer their phone. When we were leaving, there was another family trying to get in having the exact same problem.
