John VI dropped my rental off after the store hours. My reservation time was changed by someone in the reservation office, rather than myself, which created a separate issue. Further, the staff at the location submitted an accident claim and charge for damage to the truck, which was false. The staff never reached out to me. However, after speaking with customer service, we learned the damage was done prior to my rental. I never received a call from the drop off office to apologize.

Miguel BWhy does a customer fill out everything on the app or on line and then go to the location and have to fill out everything again ? This is just slowing the process of the rental down. Once you have everything completed an employee should verify the ID of the renters and take you to the unit you are renting.
Kenneth HThe truck given to us had a broken mirror which we did not notice until we got on I95 when the vibrations from the truck moved the mirror so it was never aimed at the correct lane. Thank god someone was in the passenger seat to tell when to change lanes without causing an accident. This truck was an emergency truck replacement for one that died on us and on a corporate account so instead of just giving us a replacement truck they instead charged us over $2700 for a one way rental instead of just giving us a replacement I STILL have not been refunded this whole experience has soured my opinion of uhaul and I STILL have not heard from a manager about getting that money returned to me! The power steering, brakes, acceleration, and a/c all went out on I-95.

SYLVIA AMy reservation was transferred here from Triangle since they did not have my reserved truck. Heather at Possum Point knew my situation ( hired help on my payroll) and processed me within 10 minutes…I was on my way! Sadly, there is no penalty against Triangle and my “guaranteed” UHaul reservation since situation was resolved with my agreement. What else was I going to do with 3 guys getting paid and no truck to load.? Employee at Triangle didn’t even know they didn’t have truck. “Oh, it wasn’t returned.

Tricia DI rented truck at the U-Haul at Possum Point on July 28, 2026. The experience from start to finish was great! The store had plenty of packing and moving supplies, check out process was a breeze. The staff was very friendly, highly supportive and assisted with any questions I have had. I highly recommend this location to anyone who lives in Dumfries, Montclair, Triangle, Port Potomac. You won’t be disappointed!

Tried to get it resent and it kept directing me to download the app which I already had on my phone and laptop.

Robert GI was happy until I got charged for an extra day. I returned the unit and the guy in the field said "I'll check you in here." I said "I don't need to go inside?" Nope. Then, I get charged for 4 days instead of the 3 days I had it for. Called the shop and she said "I just checked you in today. Sorry, I'll refund you." Don't see the refund. Don't use them as they sneak an extra day in.

Awesome I will positively go back and be a repeat customer. This store was farther away from Potomac Mills store didnt have what I needed. Now I dont mind traveling the extra distance. Thanks

Richard BAppliance dolly was in very bad condition. No rubber in one of the wheels. Gave me lot of hard time. Truck was great. Also at pickup time I discovered appliance dolly on driver and passenger seat. It should be inside the truck not on the driver seat.
