There is a u-haul rental in Oakland Mills, PA. I don’t understand why I couldn’t drop off the equipment there. 8 miles vs 23. The guys at Beast are good guys.

joseph BLocation was very remote, small, and hard to reach. If I had not had a ride, would have been hard to get to somewhere that I could get one, very rural area. Location was closed at a time that my search of the website indicated it would be open. Location not paved, very muddy.

Lewrence HI was switched to this location from my perverted location; while there was a small difference in number of miles between the two, this pick up location was across a river and took twice the amount of time to get to. The location was hard to find and the attendant was unable to sign out the truck to me because he didn’t have internet. Additionally there was inappropriate paraphernalia in the “office/garage:” suggestive material and explicit political signage. Overall this was a very unprofessional location and I would recommend not sending people here when it is not their preferred location.
Brian SI was charged for items after I received final invoice. These items had no receipt or explanation with them. Also gross miscommunication with misleading info given from rental place as far as what final pricing was to be which leads us to believe it was intentional in order to charge us more than originally discussed.

Donald SI reserved a truck close to my home. The day before the move, I was informed there wasn’t a truck available, but they had one very far from my house. I had no choice and had to take it. I was then charged mileage because I had exceeded the max. This wouldn’t have happened if they truck I reserved would have been honored. Also, the tail gate was frozen shut and we had an extremely difficult time opening it.
Linwood DLighting wasn't the greatest making it a tad difficult to park in the dark. Otherwise pretty standard location.
Tyler WThe location was way out of the way on windy secondary roads. Barely a place to park the truck. Drop off was after business hours so no help around. Felt like we were abandoning the truck on somebody’s property. The location was not convenient to get to. Not set up to look like a U-Haul drop off facility.

David OI reserved a 15ft On-Line at another uhaul location, but when I called to confirm appt I was told they only had 27ft truck available. I then called 3 other uhaul locations with no luck. I then called the owner of Uhaul location at 1320 lower Bailey Rd Newport Pa. He said he would locate me a 15fter. He located the truck and had it ready for pickup. The owner went far over and beyond what any other dealer was willing to do. He explained everything and made checking in and out very easy. Highly recommend.

joseph BCustomer service at 2 location in same day was very rude and unprofessional the wind shield wipers did not work correctly and was storming during my move which made it unsafe for me and my children high beam head lights didn't work switch wouldn't stay on also rented car trailer from uhaul and back break lights didn't work running lights did also strated off my experience by them giving my reserved truck to someone else and making me drive to these 2 locations to just receive the poor customer service😒😒

Brenda ROnly problem is that U Haul vehicle did not come with a retractable ramp. I ended up using 8 foot planks to make a ramp to the loading area. Overal experience with Beast Automotive was top notch. Very friendly.
Jonathan EI had two issues. One is when I returned the equipment—I was sitting in the parking lot of the return location, trying to go through the process of returning. The U-Haul app just kept taking me to a page that said make sure you park correctly, you refueled, and drop your keys off in the slot. I tried 4 times because I remembered about having to take pics before. It never prompted me to do it, so I dropped off the keys and left. I tried again about 5 mins later in a different spot (not at the return place) and it started asking for pics!!! Which leads me to the second issue—-I called the return place and they assured me that they would check me in, no worries. Then I get the final receipt and was charged $15 for fuel! I made sure that the gas gauge was on the line between half and 3/4, where it was at when I picked it up. I put $10 in and checked before leaving the gas station, which was literally a mile from the return drop off. So not sure if the guy who checked me in can’t read a gas gauge or if he moved the truck on a hill and then read it? Either way, I have rented several trucks through U-Haul, many many times over the last 2 years in fact and have never been charged for fuel because I ALWAYS fill it. Very disappointed.

Jerome LWhen Renting a truck to Move the time requirement should be 24 hrs, NOT 6 hrs for $90.36 and Charging People $0.79 per mile is HWY robbery Especially since we have to make sure we put the gas back where it was and I had put 1/4 more than what I had received when renting the Truck.

Also, the guy who owns the place was actually LIVING there with his wife and kid... seems a bit shady. I had to pick up here because UHaul somehow screwed up my reservation (which was set for Shamokin Dam, not 22 miles SOUTH of my house).

rhonda jBEAST Automotive was not open at the time of drop off. The place is a mess, with junk all around, not inviting. You need to improve your website and toll free number, the web site was very difficult to use and navigate. Took way longer than it should have. I was on hold for 35 minutes while trying to contact someone with your toll free number, I finally was able to get a hold of an agent in Harrisburg who was very helpful and scheduled our pick up and drop off, otherwise we never would have been able to do it. The overall experience of using your website and toll free number was very frustrating and aggravating, next time I will call dealers directly. Not a positive experience at all!
