I was redirected via email to a location out of the way after making an online reservation to pick up a another location. I paid extra mileage needlessly. The young man was very patient and professional. He gave me outstanding customer service.

Make sure that the equipment is where it's supposed to be when. I was sent to pick up trailer at 2 different locations my guaranteed reservations weren't worth anything and because of it I lost valuable travel time

Location was not knowledgeable of the return process and how to address discrepancies with the quoted return time. As the customer, I had to resort to calling customer service and actually have the personnel at the drop off location talk on my cellphone to confirm contract information in an effort to not be charged additional fees. Unacceptable. All points of communication as it relates to the contract itself, as well as the fees associated with it should be clear and available, be it electronically or otherwise. Customers should not be hassled with calling customer service to avoid paying money they are not liable or expecting to pay, when they have a "live" uhaul "representative " in front of them. Educating your uhaul contractors on all processes would be helpful and imperative to ensure customers have a easy, hassle-free experience.

Dont show items available when ordering online if it s not available at that location. calling back customer about you dont have it is just too inconsiderate and inconvenient. Call back customers for confirm the time.

was supposed to pick up truck 1 mile from our home when we got to location we were to pick up truck it wasn't there, we had to wait over 1 hr. to get another truck, 10 miles away from home one way. very upset, was moving 13 miles away from existing home had to pay 100.00 deposit then 23.00 and promissory note for addition monies we were broke.....,

My rental experience started with no available trailers in a 40 mile radius of my home. I finally found a trailer in Salisbury, MD at Harmon Motors with a scheduled pick up time of 5PM. When I arrived at the location at 5PM, the store was closed. My reservation made no mention that the store closed at 12PM on Saturdays. I immediately called Uhaul customer service and waited 15 minutes before anyone even answered the phone. This operator tried to tell me I hadn't "checked in" my rental when in fact I had an hour earlier before I left the house. She stated she would place me on a brief hold while she contacted scheduling. While waiting on hold, 30 minutes into the phone call, I was hung up on. I immediately called again, and again waited 15 minutes before anyone answered the phone. I again explained the location was closed and was again told the operator was going to contact scheduling and was again hung up on. I had now spent over an hour on the phone to Uhaul and still had no resolution. I then tried a different Uhaul number and again waited 10 minutes before anyone answered. This operator stated she would try to locate another trailer, which she found 30 miles away. I explained I had already driven 45 minutes to get to the closed location and would have to drive another 30 to the new location, then an hour to get home all to pick up a trailer I was promised over an hour ago. She then offered the $50 guarantee refund, which I was already entitled to, without regard to the horrible customer service. I asked if I could speak to a manager to which she replied, "No, I am the manager." At that point I was so frustrated with the whole process I just asked her to reserve the trailer at the Bridgeville, DE location. I feel the response to the situation was inadequate and my concerns were dismissed by the "manager." I have used Uhaul quite frequently in the past, and in fact have a current storage rental contract, but may reconsider.

Overall experience was terrible. My rental truck was not available at original location communicated to me on Sat 5/26. After determining this on Sun 5/27 I was instructed to a 24/7 location, then had to download an App, create an account and still couldn't access a vehicle due to App error, then we were instructed to visit a 3rd location where we were finally able to get a truck. Needless to say we lost 2+ hours of time had to travel extra miles and ended up doing some of our move in the pouring rain. Doubt I will use Uhaul again. I would say that the team that assisted us on the phone (several times) were very professional and sympathetic - the only bright spot of the day.

When I went to return the 5×8 trailer the guy at the store was trying to get me to pay another $19.33 , clearly stating that i didn't pay for the the extra day when I called the 1 800 number to pay for another day on the 5-×8 trailer
