My disappointment lies in the fact that I had seemingly been directed to this location under false pretenses. My reservation was set with another location at first, but I received a call from someone in the regional office approximately 40 minutes before the pickup time asking me to change to the BP location and offered a 20% discount to do so. My original quote was for $106 for 6 hours and 66 anticipated miles. The truck was used for 6 hours and actually had 48 miles, but I noticed that both the truck rental rate and the insurance rate from my original quote ($19.99 & $15 respectively) were doubled ($39.98 & $30) on my final receipt, resulting in a $123 charge and no indication of any discount being applied. I attempted to call the regional office and requested a call back several times using the call back feature on the website to discuss this, but no one ever answered or returned my call. Due to this experience, I am not likely to use U-Haul again or recommend them to anyone in the future.
