I usually have a great experience with uhaul. My tires were bald and i had to pay a tow truck (Amati's) $150, due to no tread on the tires to make it up a hill. Id like reimbursed! I have the receipt if someone could contact me. 7247972206Lakisha J.

We waited there for more than 30 minutes to get our truck, even though our scheduled time was 8 a.m. my husband was second in line, but for some reason... the guy pulled everyone, but my husband. He serviced my husband last, which irritated me even more. We get the truck and it is FILTHY. Almost like a hobo lived in it. We did not have 3/8th of gas, but was required to return it with 3/8... Then we drive it and find out our tires are so bald... that we get stuck in our yard. They were so bald that I'm surprised they didn't pop on the way to our new location. We gad to ask for another day with the truck because all these issues held us back many hours. This experience was so awful... I don't think I want to ever use UHaul again as a company. They have many other moving companies.JD M.

We were supposed to return to Speedway Auto Sales that advertises a 24/7 Uhaul location. It isn't. The lot is chained off and it's by appointment only. The owner is rude and falsely advertises, and doesn't answer the phone. So 2 hours after trying to get a hold of him I went to Bart's/ The woman at Bart's was very helpful and nice, and said this happens with Speedway ALL THE TIME so I'm not sure why you still have them as a pick up and drop off location.Courtney S.

The website kicked me off during my online pick up survey questions and I'm pretty sure i didn't finish. But when i logged back on the only option it gave me was to return my truck. The lady also took a picture of the lock that was supposed to be on the back of the truck and when i got there it was not there, it also said it was parked in the lot across the corner to where it was actually parked. It was not. And the site doesn't show any of your trucks information after you've done the pick up online survey. I couldn't go back to read over where it was after i got kicked off and sat looking through a small lot of uhaul s looking for the right one but could not go back to find any of the information for our specific truck. All in all the online pickup was hell. It also couldn't pick up our location so we couldn't start the pick up process online we tried on two different apple iPhones and it wouldn't work even with allowing it to access our location, luckily my friend was with us and we tried on her Android and it worked finally. We got there early just in case there were issues, my rental started at 5 pm and we didn't finally leave with the truck because of all of the issues we ran into until around 5:30.Tessa G.

Clean the truck before it's given to the next customer. Our truck smelled badly like weed, cigarette smoke, and BO. There was nasty gunk in the cab and dirt and crumbs on the seats and floor. There was trash in the cup holders. The back of the Uhaul also smelled bad and had dead cockroaches, stinkbugs, debris, and even a pill in the back of it.tiffany K.

When we went to pick up the truck on Sunday morning like we were scheduled from Barts Tire and auto the shop was closed and nobody answered the phone. After waiting and looking around the area for someone to assist us with our rental we finally found Bart the owner. He had no idea what I was talking about when I Said I had the truck reserved and just kept asking how I rented a truck on a day the shop was closed. He was extremely rude to me and told me I needed to "Speak English, the language they speak in the United States " when I was clearly speaking English and he was the one who had no clue what was going on. After being there for well over an hour waiting for him to mess with the computer and call someone 2 different times he finally canceled our reservation and rerented the truck to us in our name. We were only charged once but the whole ordeal was a huge headache and I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me. I will never rent another Uhaul from Barts tire and auto again.Andrew K.

I was very annoyed that I originally set my reservation for charleroi where i live. Was told there was no 26 foot truck available. As I pass charleroi uhaul there is a 26 foot truck there and the gentleman was rude. I drive over to monesson and there are 2 26 foot trucks. I had to pay for 10 miles that could have been avoided if charleroi rented me that one. It was a one way truck to texas. They couldnt get it from monesson?Zachary D.

When doing contactless pick up, it would be nice if any rented equipment was loaded into the truck before hand. I had to use extra mileage just to go back and get the equipment, as no one told me it was not in the truck when I received the key.Kiara O.

I'm am extremely disappointed right now. I used the Uhaul online service to rent a truck for Wednesday April 15th. My father being a truck driver of 20 years was added as the additional driver for the truck. Upon arriving to Barts Tire & Auto in Monessen he went in the building where there was no one working at all. He stood there for 30+ minutes calling out for someone to answer and waiting for someone to help him. He then called the number listed for Barts online. A guy answered and said he would be there to help him shortly. Another 15 minutes later and a guy finally came. Let me add that this all should have been noted by Candy at the UHaul customer service because I told her about my father having to wait and no one was there working. Not to mention the guy insulted my father by making the comment â€œcan you even handle one of theseâ€, that's when my dad told him he's been driving trucks over 20 years. I had already put my payment information online when reserving the truck but the guy had told my dad to call and get the information again. So I told him my card number over the phone. Later to find out he wrote my credit card number, CVC code and expiration date down on another customers receipt. Thank God the worker accidentally handed my dad the receipt for Linda Wilson as well as our receipt. Otherwise she would have had all of my card information. Online I had put that we would need the truck for 2days. However we told the guy we only would need it for 24 hours. Which is what the receipt shows. We ended up getting everything moved in under 6 hours. We took the truck back the same day that we picked it up. Such was April 15th, that same Wednesday. Parked the truck where the other trucks were (I'm a lot across the street from the building). The same spot we got the truck from. And placed the keys in the box that said â€œUhaul drop off boxâ€. Simple as that. Now, two days later, I am getting a call and an email stating that we never returned the truck. And it's not on their premises. And that they have to watch the cameras. Which is fine, watch them and see us dropping it off the same night we picked up it. We dropped it off at 9:22pm. And I know that for a fact because I use an app called Life 360 which keeps track of all my traveling. I find this entire process very unprofessional and inconvenient. I also find it really rude to be getting accused of keeping the truck and not returning it when we in fact returned it early. The whole process from the unprofessional man, carelessness writing my card numbers on someone else's paperwork, up until now of getting accused of keeping the truck, this has been a nightmare. I just wanted to express my overall poor experience with Uhaul.Bethany L.

I marked the equipment as clean and well maintained But that requires a note. There was a repair in the roof. When we picked it up it appeared OK. However it rained while we were moving and it leaked on some of our things. It might help the next person if that repair was looked into and properly fixed.Daniel H.

Asked the gas station attendant next door and he didn't know much, but said â€œyou might as well park it next to the Uhaul truck already parked. The only suggestion is to re-examine your prices. In my opinion the one way rental of the trailer I rented is a little steep espicially compared to the cost of renting it and dropping it off at the same locale.Jeffrey S.
