The last 5 times I got into a uhaul it's been clean and the trucks are now all new and clean this says uhaul really picked up there game , there was a time when the trucks had holes in the floors and trucked would barely runAnita C.

Not the first time using U-Haul. But could be the last. Returned equipment clean and properly but in the end I was charge for $78 + tax for fuel that never existed. I returned the van with the same amount of fuel as when I got it. He scams people and when asked about it he just ignores it and says he will look into it. 24 hours later and still no reply after numerous attempts to contact him.BRUNO M.

When I rented the truck the fuel gage was at a quarter tank. And I was charged for 3/8 of a tank. I was not impressed about that as I rent alot of uhauls and this was first time someone tried to pull a fast one. But ill eat the charge cuz I'm busy and don't wanna deal with the conflictcharlie C.

Sign in was done on a phone in a vacant lot and no information was relayed to us about the details of the rental. There was no time to look over the truck for any damage because there was a rush of other people picking up trucks and the lot is so small you can barely walk around the trucks. Moving blankets we were given were taken from a pile that had been left outside and rained on the night before. The truck interior was not clean, cupholders filled with gunk from previous uses. Looked like no attempt was made to wipe the trucks down to protect the user from COVID. All in all I would never use U-Haul ever again. The quote I received changed multiple times and I had to battle for additional km for a one way trip. Never felt like the pricing was settled and wasn't sure if I was even going to get my truck until the day before, which I had to call and confirm.Dan T.
I couldn't do self checkout as advertised. Wasted a hour waiting because the truck number I was assigned to was not there. Huge complications because of tight timelines with elevator bookings for my move.kevin B.
No one there to receive truck. to be on the safe side we put almost 8 liters of gas (receipt available) for a 25 KMS trip. We then receive receipt with a $30 refuelling fee and $21 for 3 liters of gas. Tried to call back but VM is full. Calling U-Haul now but wait time is over 20 minutes.NICHOLASPATRICK V.

my pickup time was 8.00am ......Uhaul employee didn't show up till well past 8.15 didn't recieve vehicle till after 8.30 still paid full amount !!!NO MASK and smoking !!! Very bad experience. Will NEVER recommend locationeric D.
Vehicle was given to me with a low fuel light on. Thankfully a gas station is nearby, but having to go and find gas was quite frustrating for me, and delayed my entire day's schedule from then on. I will second-guess renting from uhaul again.Justin V.

I have rented from this agent numerous times and have never experienced a problem or issue triggering a complaint. The guys are extremely helpful, have always been pleasant and accommodating and handle matters quickly. They've even spruced up the office recently which negates any other's previous comments about it and proves customer service is important to them. My go-to U-Haul agent for sure.Mason B.

My moving was stressful because U-Haul messed up my rental which I had booked since mid February! Just few days before my moving day, a lady called to advise that my truck (15') could not be made available at the location and new truck (17') would be provided at a new location. Yet when I was checking in the night before, I realized the price was wrong, they had kept the 15' truck at the old address. Customer service could not adjust anything and it is only the day I was moving that I could fix the issue!! To realize that we were missing the car insurance (which I obtained by email when I called the local agency) ! Just not a pleasant stress free experience at all!! I didn't mention that the lady who called to advise about a new truck at a new supposedly location did not mention a price change in my booking and that you can't find any change history on the client dashboard online!!! This not a transparent way to do business. The worst experience thus far with car rental altogether!bella I.

1) Pictures required for my approval of the condition of the vehicle were not of the vehicle (ie. they were of a different truck) 2) Guy told me to park the vehicle on the street in a specific section when I returned. There was no space in that area of the street when I returned, until one of the employees loaftily walked into one of the other trucks to move it. 3) Area to pick up keys is unlabelled - was unclear as to whether I should knock or open the door. 4) Pick up location reeked of cigarettes.Jason K.
Not a very good experience. Ordered a furniture dolly. They didn't have any when I arrived. I rented the truck from 1:30-5:30pm. I picked it up and had it back as scheduled. I filled up the gas tank and left the truck where I was instructed to. I did everything I was asked to do. I Took a photo of the final mileage and gas tank. Next day I get a receipt sent to me showing I was charged for an extra 12L of gas because it wasn't full. I sent the uhaul guy the photo that shows the final mileage and that the tank was full when I dropped the truck off. I''m also charged for extra mileage. 2 extra miles. I'm also charged $15 for insurance which I declined. My bill was $73.68 it should've been $40.61. Been trying to get the guy to refund me. Said he would do it yesterday. He still hasn't refunded me. It has been 2 days. I wish I lived in a world where I could just decide when to pay you guys what I owe you. Horrible service. Multi million or billion dollar company squeezing extra money, sorry stealing extra money, from people.Sean T.
Get someone who is nicer and more respectful to provide customer service. The guy that was helping us on Saturday March 27th, threatened to not give me a truck because he didn't want me to drop it off at another location as it was on my contract. I paid extra to pick it up from Basso and drop it off in Bowmanville and he wouldn't let me do that. He also reeked of weed.Gerrit V.

A customer service representative called to cancel reservation 24434904. I thought that was odd because I received the confirmation email for the Truck Share. I asked that when I booked it, it had the booking guaranteed or $50 credit. She said I would not get the $50, abruptly transfer me to the general toll feee number and cancelled the reservation. I went back in and rebooked the exact same truck at the same location reservation 24441422. I was not pleased how this was handled. If I wasn't able to rebook, I would have been in legal issues as I sold our unit and needed to move my belongings. The repesentative called me on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at 8:35AM. Loved the UHaul experience and am repeat customer . No complaints other than the hidden $5 safe trip fee. I paid the $15 fee for coverage yet an additional $5 was added to my bill which I can understand or justify. Find these addons misleading and unjustified. Thank yousotirios V.

Customer service was great but the overall state of the location and handling of equipment was not satisfactory. The truck was swept but not 100% after close inspection. The blankets were filthy and thrown on the ground and unfolded before being tossed in the truck. And when I got the truck it smelled of cigarettes in the back of the truck. The location needs to be properly maintained and not being placed literally in a dirty alley way. Will probably not pick another truck up at that location ever again.William M.
