steve bI hate the company's requirement of only on-line service and app services. Your company need to update your security system daily, otherwise many individuals will never have access to your website. All my device system are strict about not visiting any websites that doesn't take security seriously. Therefore, I was unable to open any attachments or emails. This non human services or paperless has only frustrated me. Other rentals service locations don't require this from there customers.

Laurie TI was surprised at how much effort was needed as a customer to navigate through apps, take pictures, etc compared to past rentals with Uhaul. While I realize this is described as a way to protect customers, I came away with it feeling like I was doing more work than necessary to simply rent a vehicle. I miss the days of showing up, processing, getting a key, and dropping off (not having to use an app to avoid a return charge, take 10+ pictures and upload on a slow app, etc).

Sid MEverything thing went very well. Quick check in and when I brought the truck back, it was equally as fast.
Gary DI only saw 1 employee when I dropped off the trailer and packing blankets I rented. I am not proficient in backing a trailer, and I was asked to pull it around to the back and back it into a particular parking space with little maneuvering space. I actually surprised myself that I got it the first time I tried! An employee would probably back it in further.
Holly JI was told it had 10 miles to the gallon and had only a half tank and that my destination was over a 100 miles! So I filled the tank at $54 , drove way less than 100 miles, and got 14+ per gallon and therefore wasted $49 which I wasn’t reimbursed! Also the steering wheel shook so bad I had to drive really slow or it felt I was going to lose control of the van!! Apparently someone messed with the lane button I found out later!! Very annoying and scary 😱

Denise GCharging for gas used based on actual mileage used rather than asking to top off the fuel tank seems more fair. I put 28 miles on a van for my recent rental and had to put in 3.9 gallons of gas in order to top off the gas. Do the vans really get 7 miles per gallon?
Kim KI love this place! It is convenient for us and the service is always efficient and friendly. Both the check-in and return processes were quick and easy. We always use Bauers for our Uhaul rental needs and we'll continue to do so in the future!

Salin CEquipment was not in the truck, had to grab it from shed. Missing Dolly, had to take appliance dolly. Pads in shed were dirty. Self check in took way too long.

MOHAMED HLocation was fine. Major Problem though is the trailer size as listed is completely false and inaccurate. The 5x8’ trailer is much much narrower on actual measurement and i had to rent a larger , more costly trailer resulting in the need to change the hitch receiver and the car I was using. This is false and misleading advertising by u-haul.

Casey CI paid ahead and when I dropped the trailer off after hours, I was charged again. I paid $105 ahead of getting the trailer. And after I returned, it was $70. It seemed I was charged less than so maybe I’ll be getting a refund for turning it in two days early? I don’t know. I just figured I would pay and work it out with the Bauer UHAUL dealer tomorrow. But this seems like a system error and if not, I was not provided context as to why that second charge was needed. It was frustrating. Otherwise, great experience.
Steven LVery nice friendly staff but most impressed by the way the owner took his time to explain everything. I have never received not even close the kind of customer service like Mr Bauer the owner provide it to us.
Luis Rthe location is nice. i had difficulties using the app and had to call customer service. Megan walked me through the process and made it all work. the app was having difficulties locating my phone and recognizing the location QR code.

carter bI rented a uHaul from Shokapee for 8:30am. I was informed the day before that I had to go to Minnetonka and the truck wouldn’t be ready until 9:30. Not convenient! Along with this, my dropoff changed as well causing more inconvenience.
Lana SWas not advised of return time ir procedure if location closed. Returned equipment several hours early when location closed. Made multiple calls to ensure all was okay with return. Was promised a call back at least three times. Never got the promised call. After closure, someone called me from uhaul. He said advising customers of procedures was “complimentary and uhaul expects customers to read contract on phone, even though font is about 2 points. , I think uhaul has really deteriorated.

Richard TThis was the worst location I’ve dealt with customer service wise from any other uhaul location I’ve rented from. The woman working the deal was condescending and flat out rude. I rented a 6x12 trailer and my fiance was with me. He drove our vehicle to the rental location & also drove our truck to the spot where the trailer was located and backed the truck up to the hitch. The rental rep very rudely said “Who are you? You can’t be driving”. He literally backed the truck up to the hitch for me and I was then going to drive. The rep made it very clear that we were an inconvenience and that we were following “HER RULES”. We then finished our move within 1 day and retuned the trailer around 8pm that same night. I called the store the following morning advising that we finished early and was again met with rudeness. In the past when I’ve returned a truck or trailer early, I’ve received a refund for the days remaining on my reservation. That wasn’t the case here. Overall the customer service here sucked & the team working was a mess. Not happy about the experience.

Phillip SThe guest service was fantastic. I would say that if someone rents a hitch with a trailer though the representative should be able to see if it’s been reserved or not.
rick dWhen a customer asks for help with newer technology because they don't understand, please show not just explain. It took us more than 20 minutes to figure out how to start the vehicle after asking for help twice. I never figured out how to upload pictures of disputed damages then we had to leave the area, time restraints.
