Joanie HThe pick up point didn’t have the dollies I needed and I had to help lift the trailer on to the hitch and hurt my back. The drop off point didn’t help me lift the trailer off the hitch. I had to use my own hydraulic jack and a piece of wood to lift and stabilize the trailer so I could unhitch the trailer and drive away.
CRAIG Rpick up is a bit of a hassle but overall fine
RICHARD PI had a reservation scheduled for 5:30, and didn’t leave with a truck for about an hour after this. I had to get 3 different keys and two different trailers to finally get a truck to work. When I went to check in to take pictures of the truck, it didn’t match the key/truck I ended up with. After a few trips into the office and back to the parking lot, they finally just told me to take pictures on my phone and take their word for it that it would be fine. The truck wasn’t awful but it wasn’t cleaned out from the previous owner. It had some dirt and debris on the back. Overall it went fine but not as smooth as expected - especially with a reservation scheduled.
MATTHEW HCheck in was long. Quoted contract price did not match in-store price. Finally got the quoted contract price. First trailer had lights out. Trailer in contract did not match actual trailer. Check-in required 2 calls (one to u-hail and one to location) and took over 12 hours before it was processed.

GREGG KVery helpful staff both at pick up and drop off. Super easy experience (even when moving is not!) Helped with our hitch issues (National parts store chain sold us the wrong trailer ball) but Bauer’s saved the day by selling the one we needed at a reasonable price! We have used this location several times due to great staff and great location. I can’t recommend Bauers enough.

RANDY MThe drop off location was closed even though we had a designated return time. No one answered the call we made to the phone number posted. The uhaul app could not find the location so we could not do a mobile return. We called a representative at the pickup location and they were polite but could only add notes to our order since they could not help at the drop off location. . We got an emailed receipt so we think the return was processed. We had hoped to speak to someone because we had used extra mikes due to a change in the pickup location that was not our fault. It was extra miles to drive to that pickup location. A few days before our trip, we went to the original pickup location. The original pickup location had no record of our order and could not or would not check on our reservation. When we called the reservation representative, we were told of a different pickup location they were going to send us to anyway. So we went there. The truck was very good. Overall, we were very pleased. Inconsistent service though.
DALE GHow to improve? 1. Have the truck located in the area where the app states it is located. I spent twenty minutes looking for it in the back, where the app told me to look. It was in front of the building. 2. Have an agent available by phone when an issue arises, like when a customer is unable to locate their truck. There was nobody to talk to yesterday. 3. Fix the drivers seat so the driver doesn’t slide down and to the left. 4. Clean the truck. There was dirt/sand everywhere. 5. When a customer reserves a truck in Shakopee and then it’s not available in Shakopee so you change the reservation to Minnetonka, don’t charge your customer for mileage between Shakopee and Minnetonka. That’s how you can improve.

MAMADOU BEveryone very helpful with our questions. We returned a few minutes later than expected 24 hour limit and were not charged any extra. We also returned a mattress bag we had purchased the previous day since we did not end up using it: I did not have my receipt handy but they took it back and refunded us with no issues. Will definitely return when we need U-Haul services again. Thanks!

JOEL TMy U-Haul experience was disappointing. The move itself went fine, but the truck was noticeably dirty, which was off-putting. More frustrating was the fuel charge issue. I returned the truck with a half tank, exactly as it was given to me, after driving only 21 miles and adding $10 in gas. Despite double-checking the fuel level, I was slapped with a $13.50 “fuel charge” that felt completely unjustified. Customer service offered no clear explanation. I expected better transparency and fairness from U-Haul. Won’t be recommending Roswell branch doesn’t appear to offer the same level of service, so I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.

Owen SThe customer service at this location was lacking. They required us to provide a third phone number of someone who knows us to call if we were to steal the uhaul? (Not sure what this would do if we actually were to steal the uhaul, as our friend wouldn’t be able to be legally held liable) I’ve rented from uhaul many times and have never had to do this. Then, they kept dialing the number of our friend in wrong so it wouldn’t ring, and then they accused us of using a fake number. Multiple times. It was really weird and uncomfortable. Would not rent from this location again.
