The van was extremely dirty. There were liquid residuals from garbage on the mat and it was smelling very bad. The dolly was not inside the van and I had to go to the store and remind them that I requested a dolly. Luckily, they had a dolly in the store and gave it to me. But the person was extremely confused and kept saying that we picked up the key an hour ago!Ioannis G.

Worst experience ever!!!! I got overcharged for gas, even though o returned it the exact same place it was filled. Also got charged for a utility dolly I ordered but it wasn't in the truck. Also said that I returned the truck 2 days later than I actually did. This location should not be allowed to be a u haul distributor.Joanna G.

I'm a finance person, experience with web sites and rentals and contracts. I originally declined for CDW extra insurance because I have premium auto and credit card coverage, needed van for a short distance, low risk. I was surprised to see $15 CDW fee, considering the price of the rental quite reasonable, I'm not going to dispute the charge. Also receipt shows km as miles is very confusing, however $ calc for km was right. Drop of time, they ask you sign a proforma contract from an lCD screen, not seeing the details, you can't see the the insurance and total to dispute. if this was a multi-day rental, it would have been an issue. At the end, I was expecting to pay $35, end up paying $50. Overall it was acceptable, now I know hidden CDW insurance charge. I think company depends on this $15 to sustain its business model. Didn't mind paying for it, I think it is a good idea to pay it especially for self-checkout options. Cargo Van was very spacious. I will consider renting in the future. Location at Becker's was super convenient.Mark C.

Not have your online booking system screw up my order, requiring me to go to three different U Haul locations to pick up a truck. Also, the people at this location have no idea what they're doing, and tried to give me a Van when I had booked a 15 foot truck. Then it took them like half an hour to sort that out. Extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend either this location or U Haul again.Brian M.

In addition to steering problems, it took way too long to get the rental going (the store clerk did not know how to do it properly), he failed to inform me about checking out (I missed your text message). Upon returning the unit, I tried to be totally honest (the gas needle was just a touch to the left of 1/2 tank) and ended up being charged unfairly for fuel, over $17, but I did not have time to dispute the charge. The van was dirty, no wiper wash, not sanitized; instruction for returning is unclear. And 1 day later I received an invoice over-charged. Nobody is responding to my email after 2 days. Don't know how long this would drag on.Kenneth C.

UHaul called me the morning of my move 1hr prior to my pickup time to tell me they didn't have the truck they had guaranteed me. They gave me an alternate location which was over 30min drive away to pick up the truck (which would make me late for the move and also cost me significantly more in gas and mileage charges). They only offered a 50 dollar discount which didn't cover the cost of the Uber I had to take to get the truck. Not to mention the huge inconvenience and stress of dropping this on someone 1hr prior to a move. I was told I had a guaranteed truck at a specific location and not only that, I had pre-checked in weeks prior.David S.
Please clean and disinfect the cab before handing off to the next customer. We found opened cookies, garbage, etc all from another person during a pandemic. It was clear that nothing was cleaned for a while. The person managing this location at the time had unclear instructions, and was frankly just rude over the phone.Kurt P.

We picked up the rental May 30th and gave credit card information. When dropping off the rental we gave the credit card again. Thought we had paid for the rental only to find out that on June 12th we did not pay and are being charged a $30 late fee as we did not pay. Not happy at all....why give a credit card and not have the payment processed upon leaving U-Haul??jeremy O.

The gentleman I spoke with to confirm rates and ensure that my contract was to my satisfaction was very helpful. The on-line experience was faulty and did not reflect my understanding of the contract, but a phone call to the staff member on Ellesmere resolved the matter to my satisfaction. Good service from the individual, not so great an on-line experience.Ken C.
