Thw trailer was dirty, and one of the straps was completely frayed at the bottom, not allowing it to fit into the ratchet mechanism, so I had to cut that part off, and there was a large tear in the strap as well. I had to call roadside assistance to get a new strap put on.

GLORIA QUIGLEYGood service have used several trailers recently and over the past few years and no troubles or any problems to speak of other than the odd light dont work or a loose door hinge but only due to wear but overall great staff easy location and have always been able to reserve or get a trailer or a van when needed thanks
Kevin PalmerWhile the trailer was clean the read door hinges are wore, and its difficult to close the door you have to lift up whole door before you can close the latch handle. Also several of the running lights would not work probably burnt out bulbs not a big issue around town but I had to use trailer at night and could have been pulled over by an officer had they seen me. Thanks.

claire byrneThe service from both drop-off and pick-up locations were fine. It seems odd to fill out a review on them when they don't really have the ability to do anything except give the keys and have the customer sign the contract. The experience with U-haul staff on the phone and the overall rental experience was awful. I would never get a u-haul again unless I absolutely had to. The staff member dealing with dispatch for this location on Sept 26th was SO incredibly rude, defensive, and unhelpful. Her tone and unwillingness to listen whatsoever ensured that I would use any other option before ever using u-haul again. My concerns and questions were brushed off and she may as well have said 'you have to pay us anyway so I don't really care'. I had to go down 2 sizes and didn't receive notification until after I had driven 4 hrs for pick-up. I was not notified in the 24 hr window as stated when booking and she told me I was lying. I have the proof on my phone that I was not given proper notification. Her response was that she'd bring it up to her manager but it didn't matter because her manager would side with her. I did not hear from the manager.

Maureen FedorusI booked online and it said my total was 19.95 CAD. I pick it up and my total is somehow 62 dollars. Absolutely ridiculous. The trailer had chunks of mud in it. The trailer was stuck in a back corner and I couldn't physically pull it ahead onto the hitch. Two big guys came along and helped me hook it up, even they struggled pulling it ahead.

Michael BrideauThe local scheduling was fantastic and worked with me to make sure I had the equipment I needed. The actual location however was frustrating to deal with, I felt talked down to and patronized. I was trying to explain what I was told with my rental and he refused to listen, ended up calling scheduling himself and was told exactly what I was trying to explain. The whole process took much longer than necessary. Unit had moving pads left in it that I didn’t rent or need and was missing the dolly I did rent.

Ryan StubbsI have been a UHaul customer for many years and this was the worst experience I have ever had. the owner was ignorant and had the personality of a pit bull. I would recommend you never use the Bee Safe Self storage. I also have recently rented from Bonniville UHaul and the lady was excellent. I recommend you drive the 25 minutes for great service. she also says she can offer a small discount to compensate for the drive I will be taking advantage of her great service within a couple of months. Stay away from Bee Safe Self Storage. He does not deserve your business.

Oddly enough even this review indicates the original drop off point I chose.

Kerry DoonancoThe person working there who gave me a quote said I could pick vehicle up in cold lake and drop off in Bonnyville which was not true I found out the next day when I went to pick up truck. I was given a quote on Friday which the price ended up double on Saturday when I picked up the truck . And the tires were thread bare and I got stuck here at my home and almost had to call AMA for a tow but with shovels and friends I was able to get unstuck. The truck had Arizona plates tires might be okay for Arizona but definitely not okay for Alberta winter driving.

Shane TuckerI am filing a complaint, when I attended the office the employee was speaking to a co-worker or a superior who was assisting the employee on how to complete certain tasks on the u-haul website. I assisted the employee on completing the last user of the rental vehicle on the u-haul website. I initiated and completed my reservation within the office because the employee did not know how to do it. This resulted in a delay in my move and subsequently my help had to leave and my move was not complete.

Jesse WayeStop using this location. The owner closed without notice, lieing hat he had called me on Thursday to say I could pick up the truck then. I had no voicemail and the number for Bee Safe Self Storage was not in my call logs. We later learned that the truck had been returned Thursday night, so how was I supposed to pick it up on Thursday? He sent his wife to help us, thankfully, and walked her through how to get us the truck on the phone. He was incredibly rude to her (she was on speaker phone) the entire time. I felt bad when I thought it was her boss being ignorant, worse when we realized it was her husband. It took 1.5 hours to get a truck we had done online check-in for, which put us behind schedule. Go to Bonnyville if you have to, avoid this place at all costs.
Calvin MazurWe were to return the truck during a time when the lot was open. the hours indicated that they should have been open, but there was no one there. After the truck was returned, we received a bill for gas since the tank was totally empty and I know that I had filled it to the same level as when picked up. It took some convincing to have the attendant believe me and actually check. She found out that the tank had been drilled and all the gas was taken and/or spilled. I requested a refund for the cost already invoiced. the issue was that I was billed without my knowledge. If I would not have been attentive to the receipt, I would have paid the bill and then probably had to fight harder for a refund after the fact. In my case, I fought the bill immediately, the attendant did find the issue and a refund was issued. This could have all been averted if I would have been notified about the pending invoice prior to charging it to my Credit card. I and many others do not like to have charges on our credit cards without authorization. I feel that this is bad business practice. Lastly, since the truck was not clean upon rental, I had to spend additional time and cost to clean a vehicle that I did not dirty to that degree. Road dust would have been quick to clean, but the level of accumulated dirt took much longer.

Simon ThomasBad experience with owner, take your cash and see you. No vehicle orientation, no contract talk. Vehicle was dirty, had to clean the windshield inside and out. Poorly maintained truck, lift gate very difficult to get closed. Bad uhaul experience.

Annika HalfeCall first and see if they are open. I completely forgot that some places took Monday the 19th day off for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. They do have a key drop box that you can put the key in and the process the drop off very quickly.
Carianne RossWhile the location is ok, UHaul as a company is awful. The app/website is not user friendly and there’s always technical issues with it. The pick up time wouldn’t load correctly even after fixing it 3 times, so I had to call the location anyways to confirm. The satellite location barely works for dropping the truck back off. I also got notified 4 or 5 times to do the self check in after I had already done it. Also, why does UHaul charge for mileage when we have to pay for our own gas anyways? The flat rate should cover maintenance expenses on the trucks. Doesn’t make sense to me.
