Terrible pickup experience. Booked online for Bonnyville and received confirmation for Bonnyville pickup. Then I received a last minute surprise 1 day prior that my pickup location changed to Cold Lake. When I arrived, the gps on their website stopped working, and I didnt receive a pickup option. I wasted 30 minutes talking to a representative saying my online order was not setup properly. The location worker was trying his best to be helpful, but Uhaul customer service and online support is beyond terrible. Other rental websites are all well sorted out, while Uhaul feels like its 20 yrs behindYu Xuan L.

Alistair was helpful checking us in for the rental and I had no concerns with the location. The process was very slow at no fault of his as there were issues with the mileage allocated for my rental which Alistair was able to have fixed. Only issue is uhaul needs to be more transparent with online bookings as my pick-up location changed adding an hour into the move which is unacceptable in my opinion.Stefan A.

I had the most frustrating experience using U-Haul, at no fault of this specific location. First, I booked 2 weeks in advance and still couldn't get the truck I ordered. Then, I get there and their system is down, so I have to use self check out. I'm told this can only be done on the app, so I have to use my data to download the app to my phone. When I try this, the app doesn't accept my location because the GPS doesn't match the pick up location. Apparently this is normal. The attendant calls head office and they say I have to use an internet browser. It still doesn't work. We call the head office back and they're finally able to check me out on their end, after lots of duplicate questions and wasted time. I feel bad for the other customer who was there before me, but getting a trailer, so self check out wasn't available. I sincerely hope he was able to get a trailer and your system didn't screw him over white he waited for the attendant to deal with me for half an hour, despite being first in line. There should absolutely be a manual paper procedure to check people out. This was ridiculous, and if I ever use U-Haul again, it will only be because I absolutely have to. Fix your system, fix your app, and fix your procedure!britini W.

I was booked for a pickup time when the facility wasn't even open yet. This delayed the move by almost an hour. I was unable to get the checkout to work even though the truck was returned well before the time allotted. The gentleman renting me the truck did not know how to do his job. We waited for over an hour to get the truck we had booked. It was ready to go but the computer system was the problem. Because of the company's problem we were the ones that lost out on our valuable time. This location was great and Bee Safe Self Storage wasn't at fault. He couldn't release the truck because of the systems problem. Not much support from his manager and head office. So UHaul didn't do well in customer service.Grant M.

Uhaul was not able to provide me with the equipment requested. They double booked my rental and I had to forfeit my trailer. Computer systems caused me to spend an hour trying to pick up the trailer that was an hour and a half out of my way and had duct tape holding the trailer tail light in. Called the location and discussed whether to was the equipment before returning. It was below -20 and the agent told me that. He would take care of it when it warmed up and that he didn't want it frozen. He told me where to back it in and assisted in disconnecting the unit. He was friendly and attentive.ed B.

As per my booking. U-Haul was suppose to have a unit in cold lake to pick up. They phoned and said after I confirmed booking, that a unit is unavailable for cold lake location. U-Haul says they have 24 hours to phone you to cancel. Really screwed my moving plans. Had to have a extra person to drive my truck to Cold Lake from Edmonton. I had to pay another rate for your screw up. if it wasn't for both places I spoke to personally, I would never rent from you guys at all. You should be able to book by phone or you guys need to seriously look at the booking on line. Terrible is my remark for short trucking me and booking online process. The attendant was not onsite during business hours proper milage on truck was not recorded copy of the truck walk threw and contract were not provided at time of rental then extra milage charges were attempted to be givin to me for your employee not doing her job properly. This is not the first time I've had a terrible experience at this location. the employee is absolutly terrible shes never there or if she is shes asleep and you still have to wait for her to get up to come assist you or there are extra charges attempted to be pushed to cover her shitty job of keeping proper records I would never recommend this location to anybody. We booked a 20x20 truck a month in advance. Not only did they have our equipment for us on the day we booked it on, they ended up offering us a truck almost half the size instead. It's by no fault of the workers at Bee Safe, but it was incredibly frustrating and made an already stressful move more stressful. What we could have done in one trip had to be done in three with the smaller truck.Mckinley C.
The place (Bee Storage) was supposed to be open according to company hours. It wasn't but a post it note on door said come back at noon. I did and called the number on door to be yelled at, lied to, and then hung up on. If you record calls check at 12:05 the recording. The man said uhaul doens't do truck returns or deposit returns, to just throw key in mailbox and wait till he "feels like" checking it in and then I get mailed a check in a few weeks. When I asked why they weren't open when supposed to and if staff was sick or something he hung up on me. He literally yelled that you do not do truck returns or deposits multiple times at me and then hung up on me. Great way to run a business! So truck was due at noon and thank God a staff member showed up did the return and deposit for me and said he yells and treats everyone like that and she always gets complaints. He should be fired before he ruins your company with more lies and ignorance. I did not pay a rental company to be yelled at and lied to so why did that happen to me?! Moving is stressful enough I do not deserve to be treated like a parasite!Cassandra C.

Location workers were on vacation so did mobile pickup. The app would not work ended up calling help desk 3 times to figure out the app was the issue had to use website. The location that the website needed was actually 1 km away from the physical location of the rental office. Once I finally got the code for the lock the code did not work. After 11 phone calls and waiting for more then 3 hrs was finally told they reserved a different truck for me at be safe storage when I got to this location they never heard that I was coming or had a reservation for me the last truck was just given 2 minutes before I got there. I needed a U-Haul for my move so I settles for a trailer that they gave me for 10$ discount ..... wasted over 5 hrs of my time and never got the rental I needed to move . Worst rental and hardest hassle I ever had to do for a simple rentalMarc P.
When someone makes a request for 26 foot truck and for 2 days. Don't just take it upon yourself to give a smaller truck for only one day. How about contacting the person and making sure it's ok. I had reserved a 6x12 trailer at the RLM Business Park location. Was told last minute there were none available, was switched to the Bee Safe Storage location, and all that was left was a 5x8 trailer. This made my move a struggle and took much longer. Not happy.Andrew R.
I got the drop off location wrong on a one way drop-off and while closed the attendant said it was still okay to drop off the unit and she would return it in the morning. I was a day earlier than scheduled. The attendant did not return the unit until two days after although they acknowledged the day the unit was returned.Bronie E.
