First, The location for my drop off was changed to this location which was 7 more miles than the first location. When I got there it was a convenient store/gas station and there was only 1 person working. Between the store and gas customers, he took 25 minutes before he could attend to me. He then took another 20 minutes trying to disconnect the trailer from my truck. He clearly didn't know how the hookup worked. He was friendly enough, but clearly over his head.JAMES S.

I was accused for a dent on the bed floor which I couldn't possibly have done while hauling furniture and boxes. And then there was dust on the floor which was probably there before and she made me sweep the bed out with her broom so I wouldn't be charged with a cleaning fee. Way too petty!!! Since she was Latino, I sure hope she wasn't discriminating me being white with American Flag shirt. When I first got the truck, she was very nice and we even joked around.WARREN W.

Filed a complaint with uhaul corp. Unprofessional, rented broken trailer, was told to hook it up myself, waited for a very long time to for someone washing cars to come over and hookup and then they failed to secure the ball hitch, had to check and do myself. Also charged one additional day by error and refused to correct. WORST EXPERIENCE EVERJAMES B.

Rented auto transporter. All 4 tires had different air pressure readings. 45,54,71 and 63. The tire shows max air pressure at 65. A Short in the harness caused the trailer lights to flicker or shut off completely. Rental took longer than needed because the links to check out trailer were not working properly. The woman helping me was very competant and got me on my way. The link to describe any damage didn't work either so I couldn't show how the trailer was missing rear safety chain. Was also wondering why the tag in the pic was different then the one on the trailer. All in all the trailer got the job done. You system needs a little work.jeffrey B.

Renting out trucks at a gas station with only 1 employee on the clock.. that employee didn't inspect this vehicle before handing it over. Nothing but problems and U-haul seriously needs to do some customer service training or get people who actually care at least 10% of the job they are doing. At pick-up lady never got off her personal phone call with ear pieces in (like I was interrupting her) and the 800 rep basically told me "who cares" when I told him I was over charged. Seriously, I never complain - but this was BAD. Time for the CEO to go on undercover boss to save it!TODD S.

Rude. Zero customer service. One of the gals kept arguing with me about the 24 hour option instead of coming up with a solution. The manger had to come in and back up what I as the client was concerned about. Will never go back. Embarrassed.LAURA F.
I have used uhaul many times in the past, but will never again. This was the single worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Reservation was made the day prior and when I show up the day of the reservation the attendant first tells me there are no trucks available. Then, when I explain that I called the previous day and needed to rent a truck for the day to bring a load to Sedona , AZ from Phoenix and back, she says it's for intown only. I explain that I had told the person with whom I made the reservation the day prior exactly the same thing and that it is not a problem as long as I return it to the same place as pickup, which was always my intention. After seeking approvals from her manager, she threatens to charge me double if I don't return it in Phoenix. Again, this was always my plan. In the end, I returned the truck in 6 hours to the same store. What a troubling mess and a one hour pickup while being threatened. Worst experience to date with uhaul.CORY D.

Truck was a noisy, lumbering, windy (doors) piece of crap...but yes, clean. Horrible gas mileage (under 8 MPG). I brought it bach a full day+early and my bill was not reduced. I was also met at the dropoff and examined by a woman without a mask.DAN L.
No one was at the location to complete the rental process. I called a number and a man named Chick answered and said he would have someone help me. I waited 45 minutes and contacted him after no one showed up to assist. He complthe paperwork over the phone and had someone from the car wash hook up the trailer. He asked me to contact him when I dropped the trailer off later that evening and I did. I left him a message to follow up with me as he said for my inconvenience he was going to help on the rental price. I never received a call back and was emailed a receipt 2 days later. I never asked for a discount but when your company offers one and then doesn't follow through it is not a good experience.Adam T.

I reserved a 15 foot truck and they didn't have one so they assigned a 20 foot truck, which was too large and had worse gas mpg. The windshield was dirty and the cab smelled like smoke and scented air freshener. It would have been nice for them to notify me of the change to a larger truck. I am grateful for the help U Haul provided picking up the trailer I rented. I contracted the covid virus and was hospitalized. The trailer sat the entire time at a customers house. I asked fir a monthly rate on the trailer and was told that was not possible. I will end up paying over $2000 in rental fees. This is going to create a significant hardship for me because I have been unable to work as a result.of my illness. The fees in addition to my medical bills is going to set me back quite a bit. I understand U haul bears no fault in my illness i was hoping that a monthly fee or a discounted fee could be agreed upon. I am very grateful that Uhaul did go out to my customers residence and pick up the trailer that was a huge help. I am still hopeful that a reduction in the fees is possible. I reserved online for a four day rental. When I went to pick up truck I was given keys, and girl pointed to truck. Upon inspecting truck it was dirty inside and numerous dents, scratches and graffiti on the truck that was not marked. When I went in and said someone needed to come and look at truck, she did and just said they sent you pictures. I showed her the pictures and said none of the damage showed in the pictures. She was frustrated that I said I wasn't taking the damaged dirty truck without it being noted. I said I wanted a different truck. I stood at the store counter for over an hour while she was taking care of customers at the store and on the phone, trying to figure out how to give me another truck.. When I finally left with the truck, I asked if the return time was 11:40 instead of 10:00 since I was just getting it then. She said no, reservation was for 10:00! When I returned it the girl gave me a total that my card was being charged for Two truck. After standing at the counter for over Another hour with no solution, She told me to call at 6:00 in the morning and Erika would fix it. I had her write me a statement of return and left an hour and twenty minutes after taking the truck in.. I started calling in the morning for two hour with no answer. I finally called customer service and got it straitened it out. I have used U-Haul for many years, but after this situation costing my nearly Six hours of my time, with not even a mention of any sort of compensation from U-Haul, or even any real apology. I may go elsewhere for my next rental.Lynn H.

Both the agent that took my booking and the agent that accepted the return did not know what they were doing. I had to teach the 2nd agent how to read a gas gauge for crying out loud! U-Haul looks bad when there aren't competent people to deal with. I'll work with U-Haul again, but I do not want to deal with this location again.Chris B.
