Agent should give customers instructions for returning the haul by telling them to look on their phone for a text and to follow the online instructions. I have never used a U Haul truck before so I did not know the procedure.Kenneth F.

Got a last minute notification to drop it off at a different location and when i got there, they Couldn't find my reservation and also charge me for extra mileage, when they switched the location. Not sure why i was charged extra mileage , if that wasn't the preferred location.Jaylan H.

I appreciated the efficient way that I could contact a reservation manager by phone who could set me up with a reservation digitally. Then, I could check in online and have everything ready when I went to pick up the truck. This saved time and prevented confusion.Daniel J.

The man there was nice. I tried to call several times while I had the truck to ask questions. No one ever answered the phone. What if it was an emergency? I do not have a phone with internet access to search for another uhaul number. So what would I do? Suggest, have more gas in the vehicle. The special benefit/discount that I supposedly received for putting $15.___ in gas. Was not a discount in anyway. That amount was deducted from my total, was not a discount. I still paid the same amount. The only difference was I was putting more gas in the truck when I returned it than what was in the truck when I picked it up. That wasn't a discount. That was an untrue statement. There was no discount.DeBora W.

Guy that checked me out very abrupt. Get in vehicle And oil light is on at the dash. He tells me he has no oil or anything to check it. Tells me to go to another location to have it checked. Doesn't offer to switch me to the other truck sitting on his lot! Plus us 90+ degrees and the air conditioning is not cool let alone cold at all! Needless to say took days off work and had friends waiting on me and the truck to move and didnt have time to "go to another location" to have these issues checked! I hope someone from uhaul gets this survey and contacts me before I get my American Express bill because I will be disputing this charge until I get some satisfaction for the poorly operating truck and poor customer service!'james T.

I called for 2 days straight attempting to reserve a uhaul. Finally I called the 800 number and made the reservation. Get there and they gave my truck to someone else so I had to wait for new reservations to be made. I picked my truck up at 4pm and dropped it off around 11pm the same day. The next business day I expected a call or receipt confirming they got the keys out of the truck and advise me of my final bill but that never happened. I called repeatedly to speak with someone and no one ever answered the phone. 24 hours past since getting the truck and it being returned and still heard nothing. I had to drive 40 miles to the company only to find 3 other customers there waiting on the representative who left the building for personal reasons? After eating 30 minutes he finally returned and then stated he hadn't realized I brought the truck back? This was the absolute worse experience with uhaul and I will never use this location again.Tiffany P.

It was inconvenient that I had to drive to a separate location to buy Uhaul supplies. It would be so much more convenient for customers if we could purchase supplies at the location where the trailer is picked up. This is the only reason I would not recommend to a friend. expected pick-up at 7:30AM, but got call late in eve the night before changing location to one further away that did not open until 9:30 (on a Sat). initial clerk did not know operations, but found someone to help. had to give all info provided on web site again. took an hour to pick up small trailer, mostly due to entering all info again by someone not versed in computers.Robert S.
Our pickup location was switched 3 different times to a place that was about 35 min from our home. It was a self storage place and the woman had no clue how to do the reservation. She said that another Uhaul place had dropped off the trailer there. We caught her as she was leaving for lunch or there would've been no one there to give us the trailer. It took about 45 minutes (I had to look up Uhaul addresses for her) to get the trailer paperwork and then she just left. The trailer was stuck and luckily a man came by and helped my husband get it attached to the truck. Two words about this rental...ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! The only positive was the Uhaul lady was very nice just had no idea about renting Uhauls.BOBBY R.

The first thing is that additional charges were not displayed when I ordered the truck online. Went to the pick up location expecting to pay approximately 186 dollars and had to pay 225 dollars. This was extra I was not prepared for. These fees need to be disclosed during the rental. Also, on our moving day it rained significantly most of the day, and during our drive in the truck, the cab of the truck was leaking rain water from the roof. This was extremely uncomfortable and constantly dripped water on our belongings and our persons while we were in the cab driving.Tracie J.
