Pick up was professional and expeditious. Unit was clean and tires looked relatively new. We had no problem driving from FL to MS.
David PI got a 15-foot truck. When I got there someone else had booked it. To make matters worse, the person who had it out was a few hours late. Neither one of us was contacted to be told that the truck was late and we needed to do a cancellation. Because of this, I had to cancel my reservation and create a new one for a bigger truck that I did not need and COSTED ME MORE THAN WHAT I WANTED TO SPEND. Oh and also, I requested furniture moving pads, guess what they did not have available. MOVING PADS.

Phil DAbout 3hrs in to the trip I noticed I was losing air in the drivers side tire. I got off the highway and made it to a gas station. Then I notice the tire had a large tear in to. With my 4 year old with me and a thousand miles to go to make it home to CT luckily I was able to limp to a tire shop in the middle of nowhere GA. They took the wheel off, inspected the wheel and tire and luckily had a new replacement tire in stock. $450 for the rental and $155 for a new tire. Thankfully nothing else happened on the trip home. I almost had the shop replace the other tire just for safety sake but it was in good enough condition. Hopefully I’ll be getting a refund and reimbursement for this rental. Can’t say I’ll be using U-Haul very soon in the future. The entire ordeal also cost us added fuel and about 4hrs of travel time.
