Tell the people not to call you 5 hours after you picked up your UHaul in another city and ask you if you could bring it back that night so they can close for the long weekend and then tell you to come in on Tuesday to settle your rental after you already put your paid for contract in the drop boxTammy T.

I'm sure the gas level was at the required amount but the guy kept on about it being below the line... He did admit it was close to the line after spending sometime in the truck. I would recommend having the gas level at pickup at the 1/2 line on the gauge instead of having gas levels between the lines. If you need to go below 1/2 use the 1/4 or install digital gauges... that way there will be no need to determine the levels if between lines.Barry P.

The service was excellent, both in and out. Having the flexibility to pick up on a National Holiday was very useful. The facility was clearly minimal in terms of what it could offer. But as a satellite location if was fine.LOUIS PHILIPPE L.

The woman accused us of scratching the roof on the uhaul when we didn't. We tried to explain that were not in any areas where this could occur however she kept cutting us off saving you paid for the insurance so it doesn't matter. Insurance aside she didn't care what we had to say and rushed to be done with us because she had other customers buying stuff. Total lack of professionalism.Matt L.
Would I recommend this location to my friend? NO... Reason why? Everything was good in this location(Pick up and drop off, faster processing), except the Lady's reaction/Response for I declined Damage waiver. From the time I declined DW untill I got into the truck she kept on repeating If something goes wrong, if you do accident, you have to pay you have to pay. All I heard was accident have to pay. She was making me nervous and SCARED. No one likes to hear the word accident accident accident when you rent a truck.Thomas G.

uhaul should not be associated with this convenience store location - the clerk sold lottery tickets, cigarettes etc while she tried to figure out how to finish the return of the truck- their computer would not connect to uhaul and I was questioned about whether I was dropping off at the correct location even though my paperwork clearly indicated this - after I had reversed truck in and waited at the counter the clerk then suggested the fuel was not at the proper level. The angle the truck was parked on was ignored as the reason. The clerk was a twit and should not be dealing with Uhaul customers. I was charged an additional $10 for fuel after I just put $30 in. The tank was at the proper level and the charge is BS.WILLIAM R.

The location was not clearly marked with signage. The vehicle was parked in a small parking lot at the back of the building, and I had to back the vehicle out onto the road, which is difficult to do when not accustomed to driving a truck. The person doing the paperwork for the rental was very pleasant and courteous, and the vehicle was ready as promised.JEFF F.

Unfortunately, I cannot say much positive about the experience. Your location is unmarked, unfindable. You made a 'victim' out of the lady trying to handle my transaction as she tried to handle purchases and my paperwork at the same time. Your systems are poor. Her internet was bad... If I owned the place/operation, some number of people would be fired.... If you do not like this message, then that is too bad. Someone has to say it and tell it like it is. It is not very convenient to pick up from a corner store. I had to wait until all Customers were out of the store before she would serve me. I requested to pickup from an actual uhaul store also so I could return my unused boxes as well. I need to make an extra trip for this.DANNY D.

I rent U-Haul van yesterday from location 601 upper James and I was so happy and satisfied with the van and happy and satisfied with the service I got, the lady was easy going and very nice I recommend this location if going to rent a U-Haul truck thank you Vivian Dumar AlDUMAR A.
The lady at the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made renting a U-Haul quick, easy and pain free! The vehicle itself was in great condition and drove smoothly (which I didn't expect, considering it's a cargo van). As a first time U-haul user I would recommend this location to anyone who is nervous about renting a moving vehicle. Thank you!Amanda L.

The pick up location was a VARIETY STORE,The owner of the variety store supposed to be there till 6.45pm. I went to pick up the van at 6.25pm, and she wasn't there. The man who was working at the time in the store had NO clue what to do. Took him 45 min to complete the form. I felt very uncomfortable giving personal information in front of other customers of the variety store who were standing right beside me. The man hand out the key, and didn't walk to the van with me. At night when i returned the van, i didn't know where to drop off the key, i called UHAUL twice, but the customer service representitives didn't know either. I had awful experience, NEVER RENT WITH UHAUL AGAIN!talin B.

I requested a dolly and there wasn't one. The staff didn't appear to be very well informed, and it made me feel like it was risky to rent a can from this location.Dale M.
We waited more then 30 minutes while the proprietor waited on other customers and that was after we had waited while she got organized enough to get the paperwork printed. All told it was 45 minutes from the time we got there to the time we finally drove away. Over all I did not feel comfortable with the information provided and the evasive answers I received to my questions. I will never go to that location again nor will I ever recommend them to a anyone.Alicia N.
This is our second time moving and it wa a good experience. However, for more improvement on communication and actuality there were no small trucks besides the 26 footers and also there were no proper utilities (such as dollies) to be used for hauling boxes or heavy appliances. These things could be better improved. Overall it was great and wonderful service from the people there and they were very friendly and nice.
