I contacted the rental representative, who said they would apply a discount for the incident and told me not to worry and to keep using the truck until the next day. Today, a charge of $104 appeared on my card; I didn't receive any discount. In fact, I was charged for two days—even though I had only requested one—bringing the total to $54.
