It was a horrible experience!!! I was originally supposed to pick up the truck at Hall road and Gratiot but UHAUL changed the location the day before. When I got to the pick up location, they advised my charges would be $739.00. I got into the truck and turned it on and noticed the low tire pressure, check engine, and battery lights were on. I told the gentleman about my concerns and he advised that it was a problem with the sensors and he advised UHAUL of the problem. He wouldn't let me take another truck. I couldn't believe a national company like UHAUL would let a customer drive a truck with engine, tire, and battery lights activated. I did not feel comfortable driving the truck but I had no choice because I had to move my son to Maryland for school. I was greatly disappointed, shocked, and amazed at the lack of care or concern from the gentleman about the truck. When I returned the truck to the location in Maryland, it was closed so I tried to check the truck in using the phone app. The app couldn't find my location even though it was activated on my phone. After about 8-10 attempts, I was able to check the truck in. When I get home, I noticed the charge increased approx. $50.00 for the pice of crap truck I rented. There was no explanation why the fee increased and I would like a representative to call me about the higher charge because this was the WORST experience I have ever had Can you imagine driving out of state in a rented truck not knowing if it was going to break down????? I was so stressed out and I blame UHAUL for making this trip which was supposed to be exciting and a new adventure for my son the worst experience ever!!!! I will never rent from UHAUL again and I will NOT recommend them to anybody!!! I took a week to send my reply because I wanted to calm down but I am still very upset and angry about this experience.Curt R.

I wasn't told to bring the company credit card with me to pick up the unit. I thought that, since I made the reservation with the card, that was the card that would be billed. Instead, my driver had to use his personal card. Please let people know this ahead of time so they can be prepared. Also, the rear view mirror mount was broken. When it was reported to management, they already knew about it, but hadn't got around to fixing it.Matthew W.

The trailer was homes up wrong. The chains and wiring harness were not properly shortened, allowing them to drag and wear through. I had items with water damage. I called in a claim and the insurance company denied it as water damage is not covered. I RENTED A COVERED TRAILER TO PROTECT MY DECEASED FATHER'S GOODS WHILE TRANSPORTING THEM FROM MICHIGAN TO GEORGIA! I had a reasonable expectation for protection. It didn't happen. I'd at least like a photo replaced that only costs $44...ROB W.

The directions were unclear and I spent a half hour in the rain standing outside of the truck while a chat rep asked me to provide a passport, rental agreement, or verification of employment (because all of those are available on a whim on a Saturday afternoon). I paid for furniture pads and none were provided. It took three separate requests to get a refund.Robert P.

Return my money for the rental dolly and blankets, like you always have, if they are still tagged and not used. I did not use anything I rented, but the truck and to charge me for it when it would have been there regardless if I reserved the equipment or not, is a ridiculous answer.Louis H.

It really doesn't matter what features you sign up for, because they'll charge you for extras anyways. Also, they add on extra days so make sure you check your final receipt.Susan H.
I had to unhook the trailer my self. Walked I. They said here is paperwork and all set. No hello goodbye nothing. Very cold people. Glad I didn't hurt myself dropping it off. It was not a good return experience. Would never use this place. And besides it 1/2 mile from my house. And me and my company rent a lot from uhaul.Chris A.

I order this trailer from 13 and Ryan for 4 days. I gave my credit card info. Then I got an email that they did not have the unit I orginaly ordered a 5'x8' Sent me to Binges who said I did not pay as 13 Ryan did not credit the payment information. Now I am getting charged an additional day when I thought I returned it a day early.Your 800 person said I could return it any time on 4/22. Binges was nice but the record of my order was incomplete from 13 & Ryan. Please advisedaniel O.

whole rental process was very easy and affordable. Pick up and drop off were also very convinient. Truck was trouble free and economical to run. Only thing truck could have used was a snow brush as we experienced an unexpected snow fall. Customer service was very friendly. Will be back to same location for any future rental needs.PETER G.

Soaked me $15 for a 4 to 7 pin adapter. I thought a trailer that size would have a 7 pin plug my truck accepts. No loaners or adapters available except for $15. Too bad. Not renting again.JASON B.
