Be friendly, show the customer the contract before signing, have a discussion on fees before you get your final bill. Having people sign on your phone and not even showing them the contract is very shady, unprofessional and really unacceptable. They forced as for a return trip even though we were only going one way, which made it difficult to return the vehicle back and made it more expensive to me. Just all a cash grab for a day of use and because we had to return it back we had to stay another night, the whole experience was not a good one. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Joseph MIn regards to the equipment, once we loaded up the truck we discovered that the back door cables did not allow for us close the door. The cables had come off the spools and were tangled. We phoned for road side assistance but there was no service available in our area. We phoned customer service to explain and upload the pictures. We decided the best course of action was to cut the cables so that we could close and lock the back door so we could move. No other trucks were available at the time. Customer service was very good to deal with and pleasant.

CHRISTOPHER Itrailer worked good however a broken tire strap on the drivers side not impressed had to buy one from the guy i bought my car from lol 25 dollars also the huge run around on the time pick up lol then i was asked to got to Creston B.C to pick up a trailer there again lol that would of been 1 hr and 15mins each way that way i reserved the trailer to begin with then i find out all the time i was waiting for the trailer she had one there all the time telling me that was a in town rental only think Uhaul forgets that people make plans and you do not care about there time my day should have end back home 4 hours away at around 6 to 630 pm instead of me getting home a 10.30 at night i should have picked up the unit at 1 pm not 4.20 pm again you had a extra trailer in the yard !!!!!! two person at that yard have pictures of u r strap that was broken !!!

Chantell WI requested a 20 Ft and it was accepted. I was not able to get the 20 Ft and they wanted to send me to Calgary to get the size I need. That is 500 km away from Creston BC. My son was to pick up in Sparwood BC as he lives there and would pick up the truck. I then got change to Cranbrook BC for pick up. Your app is actually very terrible to work with and I come from a background with IT. We must of had to fiddle with that app for a very long time to get it to work. The person on the phone was no help at all. Too bad so sad attitude. I would advise anyone using your service not to or to be ready not to get what you requested ( reserve, got a yes to, false promise of availability). Also be ready for no assistance and an nightmare of an app to work with. In another word don't use U-HAUL I have not had this poor of a service in many many years. It was behond frustrating and stressfull.

From booking the truck to the return the folks at Black Metal Storage were awesome, would definitely recommend them if you need to rent a UHaul!!

Keith GI reserved a 5'x8' cargo trailer from U-Haul online months in advance. 24H before pickup, I got an email saying I'd be getting a 6'x12' cargo trailer at a different, much further than reservation. I know U-Haul disclaimer covers this but, it would be much better for them to contact the customer with options instead of making the decision for the customer. Anyhow, I contacted Black Metal Storage the day of pickup and had what I needed on short notice, they are great.

jay lThis is the best UHAUL dealer I've ever dealt with! Sometimes has some issues with uhauls computer system, but you can't fault them for that. Great place for storage too - very safe.
