The office was supposed to be open at 9:30 a.m. It did not open until 10 a.m. Trying to receive the uhaul via the online process was horrible, and quite frankly frustrating and unnecessary. The lock box for the key, when I finally reached that point in the process would not open for the strength I had in my fingers. My son-in-law was able to open the lock box. I received a 15-foot cube van at a charge of $29.95 per day, but I had ordered/requested a 10-foot cube van at $19.95 per day. When I received the email confirmation of a 15 ft van, I accepted it as I didn't know that I could have a choice. There was a 10-foot van parked immediately beside the 15-foot van that I got the key for. Why was my original reservation/order/request changed? And lastly, the van storage area leaked in the Mom's Closet area and about 13 other places. I respectfully request a refund of $10 per day, totalling $70. plus applicable GST and PST . Thank you

I think it would be extremely helpful for you folks to stick to the original client request. I had arranged to pick a truck up in Fairmont BC and a couple days before that you sent me an email stating the pick up location had been moved to Kimberly. This is just over an hour away so by the time my wife and I drive there we lose almost half a day of packing and loading time, which is somewhat crucial when faced with a moving deadline. U-Haul called me the week before and asked if I’d be willing to pull a cargo trailer back to Alberta with me as they were trying to relocate some equipment. I agreed and then the change to Kimberley happened and the trailer was t spoken of again. On the drive to Kimberley I received a call from the dealer saying that his worker was sick so I’d have to use the app for the truck and he would give me gate codes when I got there and would inform me of the key location. A few minutes later he called to say he didn’t have a truck for me as the one on site had been rented out twice and had a fuel leak. At that point I called the Calgary number and was able to get a truck out of Cranbrook, must say a very frustrating situation. When I returned the truck to Calgary the drop off location was closed and the instructions said to scan a QRcode and follow the instructions. I did this but it wouldn’t let me go past the mileage on the screen because it said I had driven 58004.5 kms which is quite a trip ! I finally gave Up on trying to log it in and put the keys in the lock box. The truck had a full half tank of fuel in it when returned which is the same as pick up. The next day I got an invoice for 19Litres of fuel $40.74 which I don’t believe was justified. So overall if you actually read these and care, we were quite disappointed with how everything went together and finished up. On the bright side we got our furniture to storage.
Alex HCouldn’t even get ahold of anyone, left standing at the gate for an hour waiting to return truck and they wouldn’t even answer the phone
Jason PHate the obligation to use the UHaul App which is a nightmare... Other than that, rental was OK.
Guy BWhen dropping off the man there, a large tattooed guy, came out and swore at me for parking in the wrong spot. I apologized as I didn’t know, he pointed out the sign and called me stupid, a moron and a f*cking idiot. I asked him why he was being so rude and aggressive and then asked his name, he replied with a smile, my name is f*ck you! It was incredibly intimidating and I left shaking. I told the owner (lady) and she brushed it off as well. I intend on making a gggole review of this behavior as well as requesting Uhual do an investigation, as well I will be hating my experience on Facebook and with the better business beurea. It was clear this man enjoyed being intimidating and scaring me. I will never again use them for anything, I’d rather pay 10x as much and I will make sure to tell everyone of the hundreds of people who pass through my office for advice weekly, about this man’s borderline psychotic behavior. I contemplated making a complaint to the RCMP its was so traumatic.
