LESLIE MBetter hours... 10am - 2pm ??? seriously, it cost me double (an extra day of rental) because of their pickup hours. Don't get me wrong, the people were great & the equipment was in good shape, but hours are insane. Not pleased, but they're the only game in town.
Eric MAlthough site hours were posted and I was well within those hours, there was nobody on site. I returned early because U-Haul chose a drop off that left me with 5 extra hours of driving. I would not recommend U-Haul simply because of the drop off fiasco. I didn’t even get a refund from them.

George JThis is for Uhaul, not this specific location. Allowing people to book a one way trip and call the at pick up to inform them they can o ly return the equipment 2.5 hours away, necessitating a 5hour drive to return the vehicle is ridiculous and uncalled for. If a location isn't available for drop offs, you shouldn't be able to book a drop off there.
Nicki DEquipment was on the whole well-maintained but the hitch mechanism needed lubrication. When attaching the hitch, I thought that I had torqued the coupler fully up to the ball because I could turn it no further - when in fact it was not moving further because of rusting / lack of lubrication. I made the mistake of not looking under the coupler to see how tight it was against the ball. I was fortunate that the hitch popped off the hitch ball in the parking lot of Home Depot - lightly loaded and not on the open road. When re-attaching, I had to push the coupler wedge against the ball with my finger in order to reduce the resistance to tightening. This is a 'note to file' for your staff - please don't assume that the trailer is hitched securely unless verified by visual inspection - and please ensure that all hitch mechanisms are frequently lubed. Thanks

Patrick RThe owner at the uhual return location, Black Metal Storage, was completely unprofessional. He threatened to physically hurt me because their signage was in a poor place and I couldn't find the instructions (which weren't online) after I had already completed the return through uhual.com. He was yelling and swearing and I thought I was going to literally have to fight this man to defend myself. I will be calling the police to press charges if I can.
RYAN LI worked hard to return trailer before the 48 hour deadline, and was still charged for a late return. U-Haul is a scam!

CRAIG CFirst of all nobody called to confirm our order. The Website said (and I really needed) the larger trailer was available. When we arrive the attendant let us know all they had were 5 x 8. She was apologetic about it but it really slowed our move down. Then when processing our return the website refused to accept our pictures (of which I still have) even though we tried multiple times and the shots are perfectly clear and sharp.

He went above and beyond other Uhaul sites I've gone through in helping hook up the trailer and ensure I was safe to go! Drop off instructions were clear. Drop off was seamless. I would rent through this dealer again :)

Rebecca-Lynn WEverything was fantastic EXCEPT that our LEFT SIGNAL light on the trailer worked sporadically. It seemed that if the roads were wet or it was raining, the light didn't work. It worked only some of the time. This should be fixed as it could be dangerous to another customer.
Michael KWas more than an hour away from my unload location (Creston). It was closed on Sunday but I have to get up to work Sunday midnight, Monday morning and have no time to do it Monday. I used the self drop off on app and not being very tech savvy I fumbled through it.

Tim BI accidently overfilled the gas by 50 miles extra and when I asked if I could be reimbursed for the extra fuel I mistakenly put in they just said "no we don't do that" it was only 20$ but would be nice to have that back. The tank said 187miles to E, when I left the yard. 153 when I got to the gas station. And 225 when I dropped it off at black metal storage. So I had put in 38 miles worth of gas to much. But I guess that's my fault right....
Jacob QI had to get another customer to help unhook the trailer. Both staff and I have a bad back we are nursing. One of those wheeled levers Bernard used in Calgary would be great at this location. I have no complaints.

cody nPoor communication from website. Site contractor in creston had temporalily closed down due to illness and surgery, this was not provided for. web booking did not communicate alternate site and had to contact website as I had booked online, where I was told to go to Cranbrook (a distance of 116km) to pick up booked equipment. Then continued to Calgary for my trip, return to Creston unload and then return to Cranbrook (again 116km return) return trailer and conclude booking. Compensation for the inconvenience of the circumstances is requested.

Eric BOriginally booked the 10 ft truck in Creston 3 weeks ahead of time to make sure it will be available. Only 24 hrs before pickup I was informed the truck was not available. Had to spend most of the day (the day before moving) to find another truck more then 100 km away. Call centre in Calgary was not helpful at all. The staff member at black metal storage in Cranbrook finally saved the day. Without him it would be all just a horrible experience. Thank you!

Sharon KI was there for 2 hours waiting to return my truck as the truck was in kilometres not miles Also I had to pay extra here is the issues Not enough miles//kilometers Had to go through a national part because of over mileage charges extra costs park pass
