Chantell WI requested a 20 Ft and it was accepted. I was not able to get the 20 Ft and they wanted to send me to Calgary to get the size I need. That is 500 km away from Creston BC. My son was to pick up in Sparwood BC as he lives there and would pick up the truck. I then got change to Cranbrook BC for pick up. Your app is actually very terrible to work with and I come from a background with IT. We must of had to fiddle with that app for a very long time to get it to work. The person on the phone was no help at all. Too bad so sad attitude. I would advise anyone using your service not to or to be ready not to get what you requested ( reserve, got a yes to, false promise of availability). Also be ready for no assistance and an nightmare of an app to work with. In another word don't use U-HAUL I have not had this poor of a service in many many years. It was behond frustrating and stressfull.
Annette KEverything went perfectly, I was upgraded to a larger truck at no cost which was actually a godsend as I had way more stuff to move than I thought. From booking the truck to the return the folks at Black Metal Storage were awesome, would definitely recommend them if you need to rent a UHaul!!

Keith GI reserved a 5'x8' cargo trailer from U-Haul online months in advance. 24H before pickup, I got an email saying I'd be getting a 6'x12' cargo trailer at a different, much further than reservation. I know U-Haul disclaimer covers this but, it would be much better for them to contact the customer with options instead of making the decision for the customer. Anyhow, I contacted Black Metal Storage the day of pickup and had what I needed on short notice, they are great.

Gerald DRented a 6x12 trailer a couple weeks before. Was informed the day before that they could only offer a 5x8 unless I could drive to a location 3 hours away. Not happy that I was only given 11 hours notice that the size trailer I needed was not available

jay lThis is the best UHAUL dealer I've ever dealt with! Sometimes has some issues with uhauls computer system, but you can't fault them for that. Great place for storage too - very safe.

Warren FLocation was great, staff were incredible and good with communication. U-Haul processing software left us in a bit of a lurch for ~15-20 minutes until our rental was able to be processed, which was annoying, but nothing Black Metal Storage could have done differently.

Blake EI wanted to rent a uhaul from Cranbrook to Nelson. First day there were no rentals available, then I get one, but the one I reserved is not available, so I get an upgrade, which 8s great, I say I want to go to Nelson, they say there isn't a depot in Nelson and th closes they can get me is Trail. I am going to Kaslo.. so, with no choice a o take it. I drive to Kaslo and backnto Trail and the nice lady at Trail tells me they now have. Anew depot in Nelson. I was charged extra because of this.

Thomas jThe U Haul Employees were very kind and helpful. However, it would have been extremely helpful for them to inform us that a UHaul Vehicle is considered a 'commercial' vehicle and as such is not permitted to drive through National Parks. We got denied entry at Jasper and had to turn around and take another route, which added 2 1/2 hours to an already 11 hour trip. Also, the policy that a rented vehicle cannot be guaranteed until 3 days prior to the move makes it difficult when you are purchasing an airline ticket to fit in with the move.

Adam TI came a few minutes after closing and was close to tears as my previous mode of transport had been cancelled on me last minute. The person running this location was calm, so incredibly helpful and had me laughing by the time I left. I cannot express how much I needed a good human in this moment. He went far beyond his role and completely turned my day around. I typically don't leave reviews, but I want the world to know what an amazing human they have working here! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Mitieli RRocky was amazing both times we went in. When I booked the appointment to rent a cargo van for the food bank, I expressed I'd need 8+ drivers listed, and was explicitly told they needed to be present to be added. We had a bunch of us show up, and Rocky wasn't prepped about our arrival, the machines were of course not working properly, and he needed to call support and get our drivers added. Rocky was an absolute champ. He was kind, patient and understanding. He made a potentially frustrating experience light hearted. Give him a raise!!

berlyn rI had reserved a car hauler for a location 8 miles from my home with 3 weeks leeway.Was told that hauler may not be available to my preferred location .I was in a bind as I had planned to leave on a certain date and taking car to Ariz.The bailer was located 3 hours away from my preferred location.So it was actually 6 hours of travel time on my dime ( gas included ) Trailer could've been delivered to my preferred location..I will be better prepared next time.. This was a rush alternative and had to accept....

Miles BThe staff were friendly, but I would suggest not advertising the U-Haul rentals as reservations as they are simply rentals dependent on availability. There are no concerns with the location, the issues lie with u-haul and the mixed messaging around what a reservation actually is
